I love this place. An amazing selection of indoor and outdoor plants. The prices are very good compared to other plant shops and garden centres. Plants are always in good condition and the customer service is always great here . All the indoor plants are non-toxic too which is good for my doggie 🐾

Visited today for the first time. Made my decision based on other google reviews and definitely made the right choice. I needed advice on all my house plants, luckily I took photos of them and store assistant was very kind and shared his expertise. We also had few laughs and service was not rushed at all. I interacted with couple store assistants and both of them shared these great qualities. I was buying few bits and was even offered discounts and one of my items was given to me as a gift. I regularly pop in as it's close to home and they always have a great selection of plants and other garden materials I rarely need to go elsewhere. Lancasters also constructed my deck last October and I have been gradually adding plants and items to make it a very relaxing space and Garden entertainment area. highly recommend popping in if you are passing or making a detour..

Lancasters Home & Garden keeps on growing :-) .... from the french antique store upstairs, to the extensive product range exhibited in the indoor plant and decor section, every time I have visited, there is a new addition! All staff members are knowledgeable and are happy to lend their expertise. A real attentive approach to service - I have never had to strain with heavy items - Lancasters always make sure that heavy goods are loaded into the car safely. There is a fantastic range of outdoor pots - much more tasteful than you'd find in the bigger chain gardening stores. Plants seem handpicked and ordered with careful consideration - I purchased a very unusual Delphinium the other week which was absolutely stunning. If you are in the Wood Street area this is one of the key places to visit. It is also, conveniently situated right opposite Wood Street overground station.

I ordered three plants and they were delivered the next day. It is so worth it to order form a local store. Firstly, they were super friendly and very kindly fixed a mistake that I made placing an order. Also, since they deliver the plants themselves, the delivery is package free (apart from the usual plastic "cone" protecting the foliage). All of them looked very healthy and had new leaves coming out. Two weeks later and they are still thriving! They have a very good selection of house plants at very reasonable prices.

We are returning customers to Lancasters. This time I hired them to build me a new patio area and replace some boarder edging. The service from Mikey who surveyed the job to Martin and his team who completed the work was second to none (as previously experienced). They did such a good job on the patio edging that I asked them to quote for additional works to replace all my boarder edging to match, which like the patio was completed in a professional manner, with no hassle to me as the customer. I highly recommend this company, their team have an attitude that nothing is too much trouble !! Superb job guys.

Amazing value for money. The plants are very healthy. I live locally to the store and ordered 3 large plants and 5 succulents this morning and they arrived by late afternoon. Lovely, friendly crew with a decent variety of garden plants, pots and composts. I go back frequently: it's almost problematic! There is a familial feeling to the place that you don't find that much today. They are always increasing and improving stock; they have an ever growing collection of indoor plants and have also started stocking beautiful Japanese garden knives and tools. I saw terrible reviews of some of B&Q's equivalent products and was happy to support a local business instead. The driver helped carry bags through the house even though strictly speaking delivery is just to the front door (we don't have road access at the back).

Lancaster's has been incredible during lockdown, even going the extra mile to maintain the surprise when I ordered a plant for my mum's birthday. A couple of hours after ordering I found her ordering compost off their website and panicked that they'd see two orders to the same address and give the game away. Speaking on the phone when organising collection, I asked if they could play along and when calling my mum to do the same, to offer her the same collection slot but not to mention the plant so that I could collect both the compost and the plant at the same time. Sorry, difficult to write that succinctly and make sense, but you get the idea - surprise was maintained. Thanks again!

Lancasters in a word are fantastic, I had my garden redone after our neighbours had had theirs done (amazingly well) by Lancaster's. The level of professionalism was second to none and the whole project was completed to my exact budget very quickly. I then went on to purchase all my plants with the lovely team at the garden centre who not only gave me a great deal also kindly gifted me a beautiful flower because we had purchased so much with them. I can't imagine getting a better deal and service anywhere else. The team talked me through each plant (I am a major novice) and helped me understand how each one would work in the garden. It was truly a total pleasure to use Lancasters would recommend and have recommended to all my friends.

If you want houseplants or shrubs for your garden, this is the place to go. If you want to create a kitchen garden, they sell all the herbs a budding chef would need. If you want fertiliser and pots, you're in luck they sell these too.

Have just visited this garden centre and feel the need to express what a positive experience we had. We were looking for pots and bedding plants and found exactly what we were looking for. The pots are numerous and varied and the plants are healthy and a good size for the price. The service was outstanding - friendly and personal but without any pushiness. The staff helpfully lifted things to our car and even offered us umbrellas in the rain! So impressed - I had forgotten this sort of service could exist in London!

This is a great garden centre. They spent a lot of quality time with me choosing the right plants for my garden and went through pretty much their whole selection of which plants describing work best in shade/sun and which flower when. We rarely see this service in any garden centre anymore. I even got delivery on the same day. I am one happy pregnant gardener today!

I've been a regular customer at Lancasters Garden Center since moving up to Highams Park a couple of years ago. The selection of plants and flowers is superb and there is always someone knowledgeable on site to help with any questions or suggestions for your gardening ideas. I've made 2 large purchases on my most recent visits and as I live fairly locally they also provide a same day (almost immediate) delivery service which is obviously massively helpful. I really rate Lancasters and look forward to many future visits.

We love Bill and his friendly team. This is old style service, selling a great range of fair priced pots, plants, trees, coal and interesting artefacts with an oriental emphasis and more recently French style dressed up wooden furniture. A great place to just window shop for ideas without being made to feel you have to purchase something but often do as usually there is a little something that catches the eye!

One of the very best establishments in Walthamstow. We have been customers for 25 years for plants, furniture for house and garden and back in the day (25 years ago) a beautiful fireplace and again more recently another beautiful fireplace. The collection of plants is seasonal and very well curated and displayed. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Go at Christmas for mince pies! I cannot recommend highly enough. Five stars is not enough

Lancasters just get better and better. I used their online service this week, messed up my order so I had to reorder more logs for the next day. This is where customer service came into play. They called me back that afternoon and said they were back in the same area would I mind (yes, would I mind) if they delivered the same day. I bit their hand off.
