Reviews of W6 Garden Centre and Cafe

Been going here for several years now and love the place. Their outdoor area, amongst the beautiful plantings, is a peaceful oasis, (despite being by a tube line funnily enough!), to sit down and enjoy their excellent teas or coffees, and selection of cakes. When vegetarian food/ meals were being served here before the pandemic, that menu was great too.
After a walk in the park with our dog, we love to come in here, look around the nursery for plants for our gardens, enjoy a drink and a bite, then buy a plant or two before the walk home.
The team here are wonderful, knowledgeable and very friendly.
W6 is one of my favourite places in West London.

I found it extremely odd for a Garden Centre not to have a car park but over the weekend free parking around, if you can find any.. The Café was closed but I went there for the plants anyway so I was in my element : the place is a green lung in within a busy high street and worth visiting just for the peace and quiet.
The prices varied and I think they fit every budget, certainly there is a good variety of outdoor plants, succulents, trees and garden ornaments - a beautiful Buddha 's head and an owl stole my heart - and there are plenty of pots and garden accessories, seeds, tools, even a little kids corner with toys 😉
There was a really friendly chap who helped me with a couple of queries ( he did wear glasses but it couldn't possibly be the rude assistant some reviews referred to as he was bubbly and very willing 😉) ;it was a real struggle but I have managed to walk away with no plants ( I have 10 already and my room is turning into a jungle 🤣🤣🤣) but I bought some nice rich compost and several vases to repot my little green friends Definitely worth a visit, it is good for the soul to walk around and breath in some oxygen, those beautiful creatures are producing plenty!! 🌱🌵🌿

Always like to have a coffee here after a walk around park. Enjoy all seasons surrounded by natural plants here. The desert is ok but the iced coffee is good!

Gorgeous. Beautiful layout and under-arch rooms worth a visit in itself. Such a treat to get great plants, super friendly advice, and accessories (eg presents and cards!) in the heart of W6! Lovely cafe with outdoor seating too.

A lovely local and down to earth garden nursery and cafe. Staff are passionate, warm and friendly. A vast variety of plants to bring a breath of fresh air to every home. The cafe is very good. The staff equally as friendly. Excellent, but very busy on the weekends. Marvellous during the week, especially when it's sunny.

Great selection of plants, super friendly informative staff and also dog friendly. I have been buying plants from here for years for my garden and flat. Inhave had great success with the plantain have purchased here and not always the case with supermarket or shop bought plants. It is easily accessible and step free, ravenscourt tube station is close by, ravenscourt park is right beside here which is excellent to walk the dog and buy plants and get the tube home again.
I would always recommend here for plants and the staff, being able to get advice about the plants I buy is great and advice about my garden.
I have bought plants pots, seeds and bulbs, soil, stones, a terrarium in the shape of a bottle, charcoal for my terrarium sub can put cacti and succulents in it and plants for outdoors.
There is one way system in place and the staff are extremely careful about ensuring that everyone stays 2 metres apart. The till has clear screens and this makes shopping here safe for me as I am medically shielding. I only go to places that are safe and walk the dog staying a good distance away from people. Being a able to go here wearing a mask means I can get plants and garden while spending the rest of the time at home. Gardening is a great way to spend your free time during this time of covid 19.
Thankyou W6 Garden Centre for making it safe for your customers to buy plants and not go crazy being inside most of the time.
There is a cafe here.

Lovely garden center with many choices of plants. It is beautiful to walk around the see everything. The cafe is peaceful and its location in the greenery makes it amazing when the weather permits seating outside. The service at the cafe is hit and miss though. The frustrated asian waitress does not make it better.

Really lovely selection of indoor and outdoor plants. The cafe is also open again with self distanced tables available for drinks. Its a real little haven here in the kiddle of quite a busy park. One way system here makes it easy to keep a safe distance as you shop as mostly outdoors.

Nice selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. Great cafe with lovely coffee - I also recommend the cheese toastie for a treat. Staff are friendly and approachable. There is also an extra room with boutique home decor; such as gifts and trinkets.
