Reviews of Walworth Garden

Lovely, relaxing space to find in the middle of the city. Free to explore and there are also plants on sale. There’s a beehive in the garden, which is nice to visit for those with an interest in urban beekeeping. There are also a number of workshops and classes available - some of which are quite pricey but are free to local residents.

I love it here, it’s an inspiring place to go hidden in a pocket of London you wouldn’t even know to look out for. Prices for plants are a little more than I’m used to paying, but the knowledgeable and friendly staff, the locally-grown plants and its charity status make it more than worth it. I even bought some of their home-grown plant food from their own wormery. I bought enough plants to refill my window box and it’s all growing happily :)

Friendly, helpful, she informed staff in a lovely eco garden with a wide range of plants and classes available. Did the container gardening course and it was great

What a little pocket of nature heaven. Having a stressful time trying to park, by chance saw the sign for the garden and tea! 🍵
This is just what l needed, a place to sit and get my bearings after getting lost around elephant and castle 🏰.
A fabulous selection of indoor and outdoor plants. 🌿
The garden team were very welcoming, sat in the garden having tea, also bought Quince jam for m partner.
To top it all l had a visit from a friendly fox 🦊, what a treat.

I bought two large indoor tree Philodendrons, one delivered and one collected. Excellent and very unusual plants - so very pleased with them.
Oli very friendly and helpful. Great transactions!

Really pretty place with a decent choice of succulents, cacti, other indoor & outdoor plants. However the prices are pretty ridiculous, I know it's a charity but even then. That being said it really is a gorgeous little place to visit.

My favourite place! Small garden centre with an amazing selection of indoor and outdoor plants! It's beautiful to simply walk around if you don't need to buy anything. A nice place to sit and read a book on a Sunday if you wanted to. Beehives with honey you can buy. Love the cacti selection. Also, check out the banana tree when you're there. You can actually see one in the back ground of my photo! Although no bananas currently the, tall long leaves are beautiful and fascinating how quickly they grow and replant themselves. The staff are lovely and really helpful!

What a great place. Been many times over the years and take advantage of their online shop and delivery of plants and compost. Finally took part in one of their workshops ‘Introduction to Gardening’ and loved it. It was online due to Covid-19 restrictions but was still informative and interesting. Can’t wait to do more. Thank you Walworth Garden!
