I have used TreeStation twice and was very impressed each time. They did a great job and the operatives were very friendly and courteous. They did a great job and cleared everything up when they had finished, grinding down the material which had been pruned. I like the idea that all of the waste is upcycled and not just dumped somewhere. I would definitely use them again.

I first bought firewood from TreeStation in bags at the Unicorn store in Chorlton. Getting through quite a lot meant it was both cheaper and more convenient to have direct bulk deliveries. The quality, service and value for money have always been excellent. And on looking into the company through the website and attending their open days, I was very impressed with the environmental and ethical focus - so much so that I first became a member by buying community shares, and a year later put myself forward as a volunteer non-executive director. Naturally, I would strongly recommend them for tree work, firewood and timber products. Lots of good stuff on the website.

When TreeStation came to appraise the job, the operative was very clear, not at all condescending, as he explained to us just what diseases our half-dead big tree had, an what its prospects and our options were. We described what we wanted doing by way of tree felling and also clearing away brambles and assorted bushes that had sprung up alongside the neighbouring fence (while sparing the gooseberry bushes). And TreeStation did exactly that, promptly, efficiently, and with care. The three workers were friendly and discussed the task to ensure they understood our requirements. They accomplished a lot in little time, taking pains not to create collateral damage, and to clean up assiduously when finished. I would happily recommend the service, an it is great to see it coming from a social enterprise with a sustainability ethos.

An extremely organised and helpful group offering a wide range of assistance. I have been getting their firewood delivered for years and there is a good selection of logs all cut for easy use in our wood burner. I own a small wood and they assist with all my complicated requests as well as coming to help immediately in an emergency when half a tree came down during a storm and left the remaining half unstable. They cut my massive privet hedge, come up with solutions to move the half tree into a more useful location and carry out the tree surgery with care and efficiency.

Moved to a new house in the garden was a huge Willow tree needing some TLC I called TreeStation and Paul arrived to offer his advice. Once the price was agree the team arrived pollarded the tree cut down another one that was dying and removed the remains of an Apple tree. The work was efficient courteous and with minimum disruption. The added bonus of the local community and ethical status of TreeStation means we have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had been struggling to find a decent company to prune some trees (the few people who had previously responded to our calls turned out to be just chancers with chainsaws). Then someone mentioned the Tree Station and they proved to be brilliant. The three guys who did the job were very polite and professional. They got to work in no time and did an excellent job. The only sign of their having been there afterwards was that they'd left the garage (through which they had taken access) much cleaner than it was when they'd arrived. So much so that it shamed me into clearing up the other half after they'd gone!

TreeStation is a working tree yard based in Greater Manchester. They provide local timber from local arboriculture projects and as a Social Enterprise they have a strong ethical policy. Every bit of the wood gets used from sculptures, to planks for joinery, firewood for log burning stoves and wood chip for allotments or burning in industrial strength boilers. TreeStation are not for profit too being owned by the local community. A great place to go to get wood in any shape or form or advice if you need the odd bit of tree work!

Treestation removed 4 trees for me including a large sycamore. Everything was cleared up afterwards and I was very happy with the result. However, there was quite a bit of regrowth on the sycamore and it took a few phone calls and e-mails before they agreed to come back and re-treat the stump. The man who came out was very pleasant and efficient. Hopefully the second treatment will do the trick!

I’ve been using Tree Station for several years for their firewood and timber. They’ve always provided a good & friendly service. The firewood is good quality & the timber ( I use the Larch sleepers) for garden projects is really good stuff . I recommend.

These guys turned up promptly within the time frame they had promised they got straight to work their health and safety ethic was nothing short of astounding very speedy very efficient tree and stump removal and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves I am more than impressed and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat thanks tree station if I could leave 10 stars I would 😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
