Santa experience was amazing santa was fantastic and his helper never seen my grandson sit memorised and planting the trees was so nice all staff were friendly and helpfull def recommend Thankyou 🎄🎄

My grandchild really enjoyed seeing Santa at heaton park garden centre . Santa and his elf were very interactive a story was read and the children planted a little tree and then each child got to have there photo taken with Santa and the children were given a present each , all in all I don’t think you would get that long with Santa anywhere and the kids loved it. Only downside is the grotto was very basic and you can hear the noise from the cafe but the kids never noticed that … but definitely worth the money and will go again next year

Never knew this was here and has a cafe. I think i came here as a kid and in spring it had loads of stuff. Winter it does christmas trees. Nice cafe. Good to rest your legs in the massive heaton park

Not as cheap as it used to be, and the variety of shrubs has reduced. However, its hanging basket selection is better than ever. The quality of its bedding plants is much better than B&Q as well.

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Can highly recommend the plants , very well cared for prior to purchase. Even delivered heavy items and took no extra so put money in charity box. If you need plants of flowers in North #Manchester this is the place to go. Thank you

Very relaxing and peaceful garden centre. (Always a good sign when the little one doesn't complain about being in a garden centre). The cafe is also very reasonably priced and with a good selection.

Lovely place, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Not a place to go if in a rush as very popular and they do good coffee and goo food. A real hidden gem with dog and family friendly walks all around. £1 to park for an hour.

Spacious areas, has stable and Cafe nearby the lake is wonderful with leanty of geese, duck and a few swans. Boats ate available to hire, pedal and rowing. The lake also had a cafe with inside/oitside seating, toilets available a children playground is also near the lake. I e nj

Beautiful little cafe in the garden centre. You can sit down inside the cafe or in one of the old greenhouses which has an 800 year old large vine inside it, or sit outside.A pleasure to visit.

A really great idea, we didn't actually know this was here, worth a visit, my little boy loved it. You pick a pot, have a sit down with a drink, they bring you paints and glitter and you just paint away. I'll definitely come here again.

We visited the gardens centre this afternoon with a friend and her children. The garden centre itself was lovely and we bought many well priced and well grown hellebores and pots of bulbs.The children chose plants for their grandad and really enjoyed the experience. However, I was disappointed in the cafe! The first thing to greet us on arrival was a sign in the window saying that the cafe does not serve tap water but does sell bottles of water. This mercenary approach is both antisocial and anti environmental, surely everyone is trying to reduce the use of plastic bottles and it costs nothing to refill customers own reusable bottles. In addition, I think £2.25 for a sachet of hot chocolate drink and hot water is too expensive. These drinks were for children and not one drop of milk was added. I will visit the garden centre again but go elsewhere for my drink.

This is a nice place for all ages. Its not very advertised within the park. But there is a nice cafe hidden in there and play areas with craft centre's for all. Obviously its better from spring onwards but is open all year.

Winter wonderland was really nice kids enjoyed the snow queen and video from Santa.The only problem was that there were no seats so we had to seat on the floor during our time with snow queen.It was a bit hard to find as there were a few signs and not as visible.They also do some painting and slime making which sounds good.

I walk here every week, cafe beautiful put the rule you cant walk through the green house to get to it with your dog, is absolutely stupid so you have to walk all the way around .

A family run friendly garden centre with cafe. Vast selection of plants at reasonable prices. This garden centre makes and sells lovely hanging baskets of different dimensions and prices. I bought a 14" hanging basket overflowing with an abundance of flowers. Looks fantastic outside my front door. Knowledgeable and helpful staff make selecting and buying plants and flowers easy and pleasurable. The cafe is nice with seating inside and out and is definitely worth a visit.

I took my little girl here in the summer holidays and she loved it! We did the Harry potter theme session and came away with some fab things such as a sparkly handmade wand, glitter slime and paint your own pottery. The staff were attentive and made it fun- a great find that I would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon. Would also recommend the hidden gem cafe in the garden centre too!
