Its often difficult to find hardworking, honest and trustworthy people in the trade and having used Lucas and his colleagues previously I had no hesitation in asking them to assist with transforming our overgrown and tired garden to something more family friendly. In less than 3 days we’re ready for fencing and laying turf. What a transformation!

I have been extremely impressed by Lucas and his team. From start to finish the communication was excellent, and photos showing the progress of the work was sent to me. I felt totally informed at every stage.They were very prompt and followed all my instructions such as ring me when they were 20 minutes away so I could get to the property. I had a garden wall and vegetation cleared and a full length fence put up in a day. I haven’t seen such hard work in a long time. The fencing put up was very solid and of great quality. I would have no hesitation recommending this company to others. I used Lucas on the strength of other reviews and was certainly not disappointed.

Turned up when they advised, great communications, very professional, have all the right kit for the job and wear proper PPE. I had 12 large conifers and a large hawthorn tree removed (we cut them down, Lucas removed them) They swept and tidied afterwards too. Highly recommend these guys and will use them again for future garden projects.

I'm always apprehensive when trying services from people I don't know, or haven't been recommended to me. I got a quote from Lucas Gardening last weekend, and I got a good feeling. I said what I needed doing, they quoted a price and I said I'd have a think and be in touch. There was no pressure on me to accept there and then, no haggling followed by "and I'll do it tonight." Nothing pushy. I really liked that. The opposite of the guy who quoted me a couple of weeks ago! Lucas Gardening then came this morning to do the job - all my massively overgrown hedges and the lawns. It was spot on, and they even did a few bits they hadn't quoted for such as the patio areas and the rocky area at the back of my back garden. And they didn't try and charge extra for it like some people might. All in all, I'm really glad I went for Lucas Gardening, and I won't hesitate to give them a call in future for garden maintenance. Honestly, 10/10 guys!

Lucas and his partner chopped down five overgrowing conifers to stump level. Removed all waste responsibly. Laid a new membrane and then topped up with decorative gravel to leave me a low maintenance four metre square area as per my requirement. Both were really hard working guys. They cleared up all the mess including overspill on to the pavement and road at the front of my house. Had to wait for Lucas to view the job and quote. Though not the cheapest, I went with him as he came across as very professional and started the job next day. Worth waiting for! Would highly recommend.

I felt as if I had arrived home to a brand new garden which had been totally transformed. Lucas and his team did a fantastic job and were prompt professional and dealt with everything in a timely manner from arriving to view the gardens and provide a quote to setting out a plan and not letting us down despite poor weather. Both front and back gardens are immaculate with all lawns and hedge as well as very out of control shrubs dealt with. It looks like a new garden now, very neat and tidy and all rubbish removed. I am particularly impressed with the work done to my garden today by Lucas Gardening. It is not an easy job as the garden has been left intended and overgrown by previous tenants of my current home. I was expecting it to take the entire day or even a few days to finish, but they did it within 2 hours with brilliant result. The price quoted was surprisingly reasonable and appropriate with the level of work done, although I did took the liberty to pay extra for the brilliant job and saving me a lot of trouble trying to manage it on my own. The level of professionalism is excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service offered. Lukas and his colleague set a 1 hour time band for arrival, and were here inside that time band, which is great. They double-checked the work that had been agreed (tidy/trim one side's hedges and remove opposite side which was overgrown brambles and weeds). They immediately set about the work, finishing quickly, cleaned up all the garden waste and leaves from the lawn. They completed in less than 1 hour what it would take me a week to do with loppers and secateurs. Very impressed and I recommend Lukas and colleague 100%

I have used Lucas for about four years now, he visits every month in summer to maintain the whole garden. The job includes trimming the hedges, cut the grass, laid new turf in dead area, garden clear-up, replace fences and over all garden maintenance. I always have everything tidied up ready for winter and all they need to do now is remove the leaves every couple of weeks. I find that this keeps my bills down when it gets to spring. I would recommend Lucas to anyone. He always has a smile on his face and can do attitude and because he always has all the tools for the job work very efficiently too.
