Only a small place to the public but as its a family run business the plants are well looked after all plants available are healthy now like some you see in the bigger garden centers. The chap we spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave some great advice on certain plants. Prices are great for the quality of the plants you buy I am very pleased with my purchases and I would highly recommend really appreciate your kind help thank you hope to see you again soon

Really friendly and helpful. My parents used to take us to hillside when we were little and I was driving from an appointment and pulled up. Ended up buying Mother’s Day baskets. Excellent service and as good as I remember it 30 years ago.

Nice friendly genuine people that welcomed me as I gasped up there on my albeit, electric bike.. They know what they’re talking about and they know their gardening stuff. Suffice to say I'll be back to order my Hanging Baskets and a few plant pots just as soon as the next dreary winter that can't wait to arrive to bash us up has passed. LOL! I so wish them well and I recommend this Nursery to everyone.

I enjoyed browsing around this higgledy higgledy nursery. Some areas are a little overgrown, but it was lovely to look around this individual nursery. Not part of a big chain with cafe and shop. Plants labelled with name and price. Good selection of flowering plants , veg, herbs but not that many shrubs. Excellent prices. Worth a look around if you are in the area.

We have been going here since qe ever heard about it This was back in 2007 Very friendly family run business Its basically a farm buy some flowers in depending on supply and weather but alot grown on the farm You get massive great value If you havnt tried yet get a £20 or £30 bunch of flowers in a square box We live this setup Highly recommend 👌 --

These are the garden centres you need to go ,tucked away with great advice and prices .Came away from Jackson garden centre refusing to pay their extortionate prices and then remembered Hillside and paid half the price Really pleased.
