S. W.Good choice of colours in violas I brought and ,nice gift area , pleasant ladies serving and helped move compost,good selection of bulbs aswell,these tulips were called happy people
M. H.Good selection of plants and feeds etc for the garden plus bird food, furniture and the usual trinkets and seasonal decorations.
Not a large staff but able to search out assistance in the end.
National Garden Vouchers not accepted.
Cafe is expensive but does run special offers - see website. Coffee is on the weaker side which will probably suit the vast majority of their customers.
J. W.Attended their monthly gardening talk. Today was a quiz. Great. Our team won and we came away with a gorgeous Poinsettia and care instructions. Mince pies were tasty too. Thanks Hannah.
j.The plants here are in excellent conditoon much better value than say webbs. Some nice garden furniture staff are friendly and knowledgable. Always get my plants from here just for the quality let alone the price

S. N.We had a nice Saturday morning here as a family. They stock a good variety of diverse plants and garden items. There is a large cafe and gift shop as well. Highly recommended.

V. P.I haven't been for awhile, but since I've been back again and enjoyed there restaurant. The food is freshly made and will fill you up. Clean and tidy. Staff are great. The one thing they need is a sign to say find a table look at the menu then go to the counter and order. This picture is of a omelette made with 3 eggs, mushrooms and cheese, a salad and chips. It was very nice and would recommend it

J. L.I haven't been for about 2 years. It used to be one of my favourite garden centers and cafes but I'm not sure what's happened to it. The gift selection was mediocre and the Christmas section very disappointing. We had booked a table for lunch but my first impression of the new restaurant was it looked like a school canteen. Bare walls and very noisy. No soft furnishings to absorb the noise. Eventually found our table. No one to ask. Went to order but gave up when we found there was an hour's wait. Left to find somewhere else to eat.

Cafe I'm sad to say doesn't live up to reviews I have read. I thought we had become invisible as staff walked in an d out of the kitchen with no intention of offering their service
Nowhere near good enough. Not anywhere near closing time so can only assume they didn't want to be there
Won't bother again.
30 April 2022. Visited cafe again after buying a few items in Nursery section. Much improved and modernised with new larger indoor and outdoor area. Service pretty good but wondered how staff available would cope if busy.

H. D.Approached three members of staff for assistance, each one was so helpful and friendly - one even came back to me to offer further advice. Finally the lovely man who carried my bags of compost to my car for me and then, unasked, loaded my plants. Well done all of you!
T. R.Actually found two items that I wanted here today after visiting 4 other garden centres first. A touch pricey and really disappointed that half the shopping area was plunged into darkness and it wasn't even closing time. New toilets better. No festive music, playing and quiet considering it was so close to Christmas.
S. O.Great new restaurant where staff made me feel very welcomed. My tuna steak meal was excellent. The garden centre is large with a great selection of plants. I had a lovely afternoon there. Well done to all the staff.

P. T.I think that I visited a little late in the season because there wasn't a great deal of variety of plants to choose from. Having said that my wife used to shop there year after year so they must be doing something right. The staff were very helpful so I must have another look next spring.
I've just bought some winter plants for our hanging baskets and the place looks wonderful. They've got a fantastic Christmas merchandise display.

Toilets could do with an update still has tap on the walls were they have given it a lick of paint.
Shame weathers not been that to enjoy the garden with are food.

L.This is lovely garden centre how pretty the plants were priced at a fare to middling but it was almost a family center there is the most beautiful garden and picnic area the garden wow fall of little worlds of pixies as my grandson called them we went to each and every one all were different there are rabbits rosters there's a playing and climbing area you could spend a good day there and come away with a beautiful plant how perfect is that

M. A.Even with today's covid restrictions, service was very slow, our coffees were cold and drank before the sandwiches arrived. Very expensive, 2 tuna and 1 cheese and tomato plus 3 small latte's was an extortionate£25.50. sandwiches were nothing to shout about. Won't be eating here again. I wonder if it's to do with the new extension they've built, are they using the cafe to pay for it.

B. T.I am sorry to say but big is definitely not beautiful. The food is still as excellent as before but unfortunately the extension and refurb has spoilt the ambiance that existed before. It is very noisy and if you have a table near the door it is really quite chilly. Service is reasonable but not as quick as it used to be. Unfortunately, more toilets have not been added so there was queing. One ladies, gents and disabled is not enough for a room holding that many people. The cake was not served with cutlery to eat it. One nice touch was a single rose for all the mother's. However, we used to be regular Sunday lunch visitors but am sorry to say that won't be the case in future. Sorry Clent Nursery owners you have gone for profit and have turned what used to be a quaint little restaurant into what seemed to be a large cafeteria.
a. p.I love this garden centre it is still independent and had a vast array of garden furniture , plants, unusual gifts and books and a brilliant cafe/restaurant which is exceptionally well priced and serves lovely meals and cake .
Lovely staff always helpful and pleasant and offer comprehensive advice about their stock.
B. C.First time to visit this nursery and will definitely be back again, plenty of choice for bedding plants and veg, compost, and garden furniture, well worth another visit and i only came for a few Growbags 👍

A. S.It was our first visit to this garden center and it was well worth it very reasonable prices on the plants and the staff was very helpfull. We spoke to 2 different staff members about which plants would be best for our garden was very helpful with out being pushy. We will definitely be going back

S. S.I have used clent nurseries for a nunber of years and can say that my hanging baskets have always been amazing and last from May until sept/Oct ... their plants and flowers are the best around would not go anywhere else!

R. P.Friendly and helpfull. Well priced and more importantly all the plants we have got are doing well. On a more personal level the wife now needs to use a wheel chair more than she would like. We often find this adds extra complication often resulting in me putting her back in the car and going shopping on my own. Not yesterday. The staff took the time to show her various things and then carry them to the car so we could concentrate on enjoying our mornings shop. I would say we didnt ask for help they just gave it. So nice not to be invisible or feel we were in the way. Only a little thing i know but worth its weight in gold. Thank you.
