Really fantastic selection of beautiful, strong, healthy plants here. Along with some stunning garden accessories. Staff are absolutely top notch, very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are reasonable, some very good offers and a brilliant membership scheme. I for one am absolutely delighted to have been pointed towards this garden centre by pop ups on social media - it truly is a gem !! Big thanks to team Lakeside Plant Centre - our garden is taking shape, it will look stunning and bring us much joy.

I loved my visit here with my family, the animals on display were all in good health, they look well fed and my children loved every minute. You can go into a pen with the tiny horses, rabbits and even stroke the goats. They have a reptile house and many other animals on site, as well as this there is a garden centre you walk through before you get to the animal centre. I would recommend that you visit here if you have a spare weekend with the kids, truly enjoyed stroking the skunk with the zoo rep/animal handler. Even got to hold a snake and bearded dragon.

A very good garden center with a good variety of healthy plants and other items for sale at very reasonable prices. There is a well thought out system in place to ensure that social distancing is maintained to ensure an enjoyable visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful providing very good customer service. Definitely worth a visit, which we will be doing again soon.

Me and my kids had a wonderful time here. There a modest little garden center here but I think the highlight was the exotic animal zoo to the rear. It was a fair price for a family of four and there was a good variety of animals to see and even hold. Staff are very helpful and friendly too. I cannot praise it enough.

Great day out at the garden centre and exotic zoo. Lots of different animals to see and touch, staff are very friendly and informative. Entry is so cheap only £5 for adults and £4 for children. Very popular with young families. Will definitely be returning. Fabulous local day out!

Excellent, excellent experience at Lakeside, as ever, during these difficult times. Sad to read the negative review previous, but nothing to be negative about when shopping here. Staff were pleasant, extremely helpful, trollies were sanitised, jolly man at entrance explaining rules (MAX 2 PEOPLE), as per the rules and the plants were in great condition. Hard working staff keeping us all that little bit more sane during these difficult times. Get down there and support your local garden centre if you can. Thanks, Lakeside.

Excellent social distancing. One of the very few places that allow two people in together. Very well controlled entry and sanitation, only allow so many trolleys which controls max. Amount of people. Well done. Hope your business does well

Nice little cafe area if you want a tea or coffee with a piece of cake or light bite all quite reasonably priced. Something a little different to the major garden centres

Great plants, well looked after. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Sometimes get a little short on stocks due to popularity. Even has a small cafe which is very good. Oh, and don't forget the exotic animal mini zoo and farm produce shop that are adjacent.

Really pleased to see the Lakeside Plant Centre back open. My wife and I visited yesterday and our first impression was just how well organised their queueing system was and how they are keeping their customers safe by limiting visitor numbers and wiping down the trolley after each use. They offered a great selection of plants which helped add some colour to our garden. Lovely staff, all of whom were happy to help and welcome us. The gentleman at the entrance explained the process really well, highlighting the one-way system and the social distance spacing for queueing to pay. Great experience.

My favorite Garden Centre in Telford! Great prices on plants with a huge selection too! Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Lovely little cafe for mid shop coffee and a cake too! Also the Excotic Zoo on site which is also a fab day out!

Great range of items in stock. All the usual garden items but also extra unusual ones to make you feel you have bought something special. All plants are in tip top condition and have been looked after well. Staff knowledge is excellent and they are happy to advise on what to buy - and more importantly, what won't compliment what you already have even if it talks you out of a purchase. Reasonably priced and locals can use their TLC card for a discount on non-sale/offer items. Christmas trees are always plentiful and long lasting. They also have lots of events throughout the year from Christmas grotto, Easter hunts, dog shows, exotic zoo, etc. There is also a large section of animals to see from the usual rabbits and pigs to the more unusual like wallabies and meerkats. They now make a small entrance charge to help cover costs which is fair. Really worth a trip to visit here if you have not been before or for a while.

Fantastic help and service when choosing fruit trees for our garden. Also very friendly free garden design service. Though they may be smaller than the chain garden centres, you will always get good, knowledgable, honest, reliable service here. A great place for a light, tasty homemade lunch, or coffee and cake too or to look at the small animals out the back.

Nice place with a small cafe (packed when we went today but it was a school half term), only a few disabled parking spaces but it is a flat hard standing parking area, good selection of garden plants, ornaments & paving etc , there's also a farm shop adjoining the centre selling fresh produce...meat, veg, dairy etc.
