Had a 2 piece suit and a (8 layered skirt) wedding dress cleaned. Very good prices and service. Suit was cleaned within 2 weeks. Dress was very muddy and covered in fake tan. Andy cleaned it 3 times and communicated when the items were ready for collection. Very helpful service and will definitely be using again in the future. Support local!!

Fantastic customer service, Andrew has gone out of his way to help me to get a suit cleaned at short notice, Highly recommended cleaners. Just picked up my suit and I am really impressed, the crease in the trousers is razor sharp I can't fault the cleaning, I will definitely be going back when it's time for the suit to be cleaned 5x well earned. Evan had a text to let me know it was ready to pick up.

I've used Chatams a few times now, most recently on a suit that had been suffered a little mould. I can tell you they're reasonably priced - because they are - and that they do a fantastic job - because they do and my suit is clean and smells fantastic. But Andy is a great guy, very accommodating, and doing very well as an independently owned business. Highly recommend

Had my husband's suit and a wool coat dry cleaned. Excellent service, great value for money too. My coat had a very very bad stain - I picked up cheese sauce in the supermarket, but broken packaging meant it left an enormous mark and smell, so the coat was unwearable. Andy did a fantastic job to get every trace out and kept me updated through the whole process as it was such a specialist job. I'm delighted with his attention to detail. Thank you. Andy dry cleaned my wedding dress, which had been abroad for about 3 years thanks to Covid and therefore still had dirt / twigs / leaves etc at the bottom from when I used it and the length had dragged along the ground. He managed to get all of it out, and it came up looking brand new and smelling lovely too. Good communication also.

Really excellent service. I took my wedding dress to be cleaned after almost seven years of being screwed up in a ball in the loft! It was filthy and had a fair few stains which I didn’t expect to come out. The dress has come out beautifully, far better than I expected and can now be preserved as a special keepsake for years to come. The price was also very reasonable.

We took my light blue suit to Andy at Chatham’s after it got quite badly stained and he’s been able to save it. He was careful to check before carrying out a second process, which uses wet treatment, that we wanted to take the risk as it might have damaged the suit. The price was really reasonable and he was good at keeping us up to date about the treatments and when the suit would be ready. We really thought the suit was going to be ruined and he’s done an amazing job at salvaging it!

I can not recommend Chatams enough! I had a silk skirt with a bright red mystery stain that I was certain would never come out. They were honest from the start with the possibility that they may not be able to but I wanted to try. Not only has the stain been completely removed, they also rehemed the skirt for me. The prices are exceptionally reasonable and I will definitely be using them again! Thanks

Andy's brilliant - he managed to rescue some "uncleanable" curtains (which stank of plastic/chemicals from having been stored and had out-of-date cleaning instructions), and has made them come up lovely, and all for a bargain price. So lucky to have this service locally.

I have dealt with Chatams dry cleaners for many years and the comments i have just read from a client are absolutely outrageous. In all my years of dealing with this business I have never had cause for complaint whatsoever. I would question whether it was more to do with the condition of the garment rather than the way it was cleaned. Buttons don't just fall off my friend!! It's grossly unfair when one acerbic comment, without any foundation, can affect the reputation of a respected and very popular business and business owner.

I took my trousers in to be altered. Before, they were to baggy, the waist needed taking in & they were to long. All 3 alterations were done superbly. I can now wear them with my suit jacket .The dry cleaning was fantastic to. I can now wear my suit with pride.

I managed to wreck a pale green, very expensive and much loved All Saints coat by dropping Black Bean Sauce all over one section of the coat, the sleeves and inside lining. The sauce was really greasy and covered an area at least 10/10 inches on the bottom of the coat. I took it to Andy at Chatham’s who promised to do his best to remove the stain. TBH I didn’t really expect much due to the large area affected and grease (that also smelt horrific!) Andy took the time to text me the next day to say he thought he could save the coat which was really reassuring. I’ve just picked up my coat and there isn’t a mark on it! I have no idea how he did it but my coat looks pristine and I’m absolutely thrilled with the result. Really glad I went to Chathams and very grateful to Andy for his excellent customer service and skills in rescuing my coat! Thanks so much Andy! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Andy at Chatams always does a fantastic job of my dry cleaning! Special shout out to when he famously cleaned my partner's bright white blazer...which unfortunately had turned a shade of green after rolling around in grass at a wedding! Safe to say that Andy worked his magic and brought it back to life - it came out of the cleaners looking brand new. Highly recommend Chatams for all your dry cleaning needs - great local business! :)
