We packed light for our 2 week stay in Glasgow so we needed to do laundry twice. This laundromat was not close to our hotel so we took the train which was about a 10 minute trip. There was a nice coffee shop just down the road so by the time we ate and had coffee our laundry was done (quick trip back to put in the dryer). The person working in the shop was very friendly. We always have good luck with local laundromats when we travel.

It's very busy. The waiting, folding area is quite small. But the staff is superb, efficient & helpful. Nearby shops, pubs, restaurants where you can wait if you're doing your own laundry. Also, you can leave it for the staff and return when convenient.

When staying at the Radisson Red it is a short 10-15 min walk to the Majestic. What a find in the middle of Glasgow. The ladies running the business are very polite and helpful, you can even drop off your laundry for fluff and fold if you so choose. I did my whole bag of washing and drying for £7 Great deal and an easy feel to the place, I am sure it is busy during the week so make sure to call ahead and check with them Happy washing

Great self-service laundromat. The owner is super nice and will help you operate their laundry machines and dryers. They will sell you laundry detergent at a nominal charge to do your laundry. Perfect place for tourists/visitors and locals.

Had a great experience here today. Never used a laundrette before and these guys really took the stress out of my broken washing machine woes. They talked me through it, several times, very patiently, given I had a million questions. Could definitely go back and do myself no bother!

My original review has disappeared but they were ace I had a run in with a seagull and it was a very short battle that I did not win, they sorted out my favourite shirt really nicely. the owner was super proud of the brand new machines (they were new in when I visited) and the lady who was doing the ironing was a bit stern at first but really nice once we had a chat, but a lot of Glaswegians can be a bit stern unless you know them!

Very reasonable price for a small load of clothes (£6.50 washed and dried) and the ladies were very helpful and helped me used the machines. Only 20 minutes for the washing and 10 minutes for the drying ! I definitely recommend using their services.

I've been using this laundry for a few months now I've visited to use machines and more regularly arranged for service wash with delivery and collection. From my first visit I was really impressed from offering change for machines which are exceptionally clean to same day collection and delivery of laundry. Can't recommend this service enough Allan is so pleasant and its excellent value for money.

Came across this business on google and very impressed! We use the laundrette once a week and they pick up and deliver our cloths back to us. I believe this isn’t something they normally do but Alan is happy to do this. Any time we ask for the cloths to be picked up a driver is over within the hour and the cloths are returned the same day. Excellent service! I hope many industry around this laundrette re-open so they can get the business back they deserve.

As many folks are doing my wife and I are on an almost 2 week trip around the UK. I significantly overestimated our ability to do laundry. During our Glasgow stop I found a few places, but most had websites that were just impossible to follow. Majestic Laundry's site was informative and let me know what I needed. I had a couple of questions I sent via email. Response was prompt, friendly and told me what I needed. For a great rate they picked up from my hotel, did a simple wash/dry/fold service and had everything back to my hotel that same afternoon. These folks are EXACTLY what a traveler is looking for in Glasgow to get laundry done.

When my hotel told me their "self-service laundry service" was only M-F, I was stuck. But I luckily found the Majestic! The ladies were incredibly helpful, and more importantly, didn't make me feel like a dumb tourist traveler. Very quick (20min wash, 30min dry) and reasonable rates. Thanks for the help! Their admittedly prices are rather pricey from what I'm use to (large wash/duvet size: 7.50, small standard wash £3.50, dryer: £2.50 as of this review), I'm pleased with my experience because the staff are friendly and professional. Give you advice and when shop is closing up they put your washing on the next day for you to pick it up. Plus change is given! Hope to fix my machine soon but this place is fab

I was in here with a very expensive jacket my son had bought and it was basically ruined when i washed it, i bought it here and i dont know the womans name but she had kind of reddish haircand glasses and i swear to god she performed a miracle !!! And only for £10 !! My son said its actually better than when he first bought it and in future i'll definately be taking it back to majestic in the the future , service was quick as well , i could have had it back later the same day but i had work so picked it up the following morning. These guys pick up from our home and drop it back the next day all clean and folded. No need to iron (even casual shirts) as they fold so well. Great time saver and a reasonable price.

Why do I use a laundrette you ask when I've got a washing machine at home. Well it's pouring out water all over my kitchen floor. Solution: Take my laundry to a laundrette. I looked online to see if any were recommended and that's when I found out about the Majestic Laundrette. Off I popped with my two bags. A wash is £3.50 and takes about half an hour and the dryers are huge and dries a load for about £2.50 (obviously if you've got heavy stuff like towels they take a bit longer). The girls who work there are always busy doing service washes but always have the time to help out customers with change and advice on how to use the machines. When I get my new washer I'll miss my visits to the Majestic.

(Translated) My most memorable memory of my last (short) stay in Glasgow: a torrential downpour ... for a visit that boiled down to a pub near the hotel and the decision to do the laundry that was necessary after 15 travel days. And the least we can say is that the Majestic Laundrette, with a smile priced extra, is a place to say the least authentic and warm in its own way. I love ! (Original) Mon souvenir le plus mémorable de mon dernier (court) séjour de Glasgow : une pluie diluvienne... pour une visite qui s'est résumée à un pub proche de l'hôtel et la décision de faire une lessive qui s'imposait après 15 jours de voyage. Et le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que la Majestic Laundrette, avec le sourire tarifé en supplément, est un lieu pour le moins authentique et chaleureux à sa façon. J'adore !
