Great neighbourhood dry-cleaners who do an incredible job at a really reasonable price. Have recently collected a dress which I thought might be "un-saveable" but it looks good as new! Super friendly service and Ibby does amazing work! I took my hefty wedding dress (complete with 3d lace and bead detailing) here to be cleaned after the first part of my two parter wedding. Got it back within a week, practically pristine and ready to wear again as if it were new. Not to mention for a very affordable price!! I've taken the dress back to Ibby for cleaning and box preservation following the second wedding and am confident the work will be just as perfect. Thank you so much!

I had used Brookbank on and off for a couple of years without issues until recently. Had a made-to-measure jacket (costing more than £550) dry-cleaned which came out with patchy discolourations all over – a complete write-off – which I didn't notice until I opened the plastic sheeting a few days later. After a few emails between myself and Suitsupply, Ibby decided to contact the Drycleaning Technology Centre to have the jacket independently tested (quoted at £175 + VAT), according to him, for ‘fabric flaw’ but also insisting that (I quote) "The correct procedure, is for the customer, i.e. being you, to pay the full price of the testing" and "I will pay for half the testing despite the fact that it is not my legal responsibility to do so". Whilst I’m not suggesting which party is at fault (I'm neither an expert in fabric or dry cleaning), it is preposterous that the customer is expected to provide an independent proof (by paying for additional independent assessment) for a jacket that didn't come out after dry-clean in the same state as it had gone in (it seems the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 doesn't even exist). This leaves a bad taste in one's mouth and I would suggest caution for anyone, and to know your legal rights, when dry-cleaning an expensive garment, not just here but everywhere else. Saying that, Ibby has been helpful and polite throughout even though I disagree with his stance that it is the customers' responsibility which has no legal basis. Fortunately, in my case, Suitsupply decided to refund me the full amount for the jacket (which I had only worn ONCE!).

I have asked for a dress and a blazer to be altered and taken up for special events and have been able to proudly wear said garmets that fit perfectly for me. This is the best dry cleaner I have used in the area. Service is incredibly friendly and helpful. My white sofa covers, which were stained and "grey", were given extra special care and attention and came back the cleanest they've looked since I bought the sofa nearly a decade ago. My towels and thick bathmat were washed and came back fluffy and so white. I also had my husband's shoes re-soled and polished and the work was top notch. I was so impressed. I couldn't recommend this company more highly and will definitely use them again.

Like so many others, I've been really impressed with this dry cleaners. I've used them a couple of times now and not been let down. Ibby recently helped me out by delivering my clothes nearer to my home when I was not able to get to the dry cleaners within normal opening hours, which really showed that he was willing to go above and beyond. My coat came back looking brand new and on a previous occasion, he helped fix a broken zip on my bag at a really good price. It's nice to have a local dry cleaners where you consistently receive excellent, personal service.

Their services also include alterations and so far I have trouser waist reduced, suit trouser's shortened and suit jacket chest brought in - all to an excellent standard and perfect fit fit first time which I was delighted with. I have been blown away by the outstanding service provided by this dry cleaners. This morning I took in two black coats, a wool jacket and acsuede skirt that had a range of stains after my daughter had ' borrowed' then - with the costs bring covered in lint from a mohair scarf. I could not believe they were the same garments when I collected them at 5. They looked brand new. Hello to anyone reading this. I am a local resident and I live alone since my beloved wife passed in Dec 2013. Being in my later years I find it difficult to get help or good service. It's one of those things that comes to some of us. Recently I purchased some new garments for myself but as usual being a big man getting the right fit is always difficult. So I had the sleeves shortened to my length. It was a beautiful job well done. I do recommend anyone needing alterations go to this shop. The price was also very agreeable + the owner is a very nice guy. Yes if I need any alterations this is where I go. Try this and see for yourself you will not be disappointed.

I have been using Brookbank for a number of years now. We take all our dry cleaning and small repairs there. They have never been anything but warm and welcoming and their work is always (ALWAYS) on time and at a fair price. Last week we took some very large (and very dirty) curtains. Not only did they come up like new, but it was fast and at a really fair price. It is a silly thing, but really helpful to have a place to can rely on in the local area. Fabulous!

For me, there is no better dry cleaner in London! True:they are no very conveniently located as eg. you live in Wood Green, you have to cross London to get here, but if you want to have a quality job done at a very reasonable price, you do it! I had a very long evening dress to get cleaned and noone else accepted to do it because the shoulder straps have beads all along. And as the label said "spot clean only" and no dry cleaning was just another reason to refuse it. So what these excellent guys did was that they manually treated the dress with dry cleaning chemical and then washed it. There were around 6-8 stains on the dress (material 100% polyester)-guess what? they were all gone! Thank you guys, next time I have a difficult piece of clothing, I will definitely return!
