Been to many tailors/ dry cleaners in London over the years and the majority fall short. This place is amazing! They deliver every single time- tailoring to perfection and cleaning properly, and really fast. So glad I found this place. I don’t live in this area anymore but prepared to travel as they’re so trustworthy!

I have recently moved to London from Wales and was looking for someone reliable and progressional to make some alterations to some suits and trousers. I always worry when looking for a tailor as I’m very particular and like things done properly. In short, I can’t say enough how impressed I am at the quality of finish on the 7 suits that I had altered. The guy measured me up properly and took his time. He was also happy to discuss anything I wanted in particular. There was one pair of trousers which were nearly impossible to bring in at the waist but somehow the team managed to do it. Everyone there is super friendly and always happy to chat, just very pleased that I’ve found a reliable and quality place to make my alterations. 10/10 recommended.

I got sap from our Christmas tree on my new £200 puffer jacket which is essentially the same as glue. I was heartbroken when I was told by other dry cleaners this was impossible to get out. My friend recommended I try Diamonds so I did. It took the guys a few attempts but they did not give up and got the stain completely out. My coat looks brand new and I will be forever grateful. This is honestly one of a kind tailor. I wanted to alter three expensive brioni suit trousers and a Zilli jeans, but i was kinda skeptical to take them to just any tailor. Excellent tailoring service here and I will be returning with other items. I took a dress in, asking them to change into a skirt as I hadn't been wearing it. They kindly offered me a choice of elastic in the waist or a zip. Going for the more premium option of the zip, I am really pleased with the result. The alteration is so seamless, it looks as though I bought it this way. In short, I'll be back and do recommend.

They advertised bespoke cleaning service for expensive designer garments and even shoe cleaning services. As I walked in a previous customer handed over a Moncler jacket to these guys; he seemed to be a regular. I can say that me as well as other customers can testify that their quality of service is unprecedented. Exceptional enough that we can trust our designer garments, worth thousands of pounds at times, knowing that we are in good, trustworthy, professional hands. This place is a gem. Maybe it’s just me expecting too much based on the reviews but wasn’t really impressed with the level of customer service and the tailoring, repair and dry cleaning that they offered. At least they were honest on what they can and cannot do. Will have to see the output when I get them (and maybe will update this post), but we’ll keep looking for my go-to tailor in London. UPDATE: I’ve now collected my dresses and I’ll add one star for: (a) completion of work being one day ahead of the original estimated date and (b) hemming done for 2 of my 3 dresses was in good level of quality, i.e. not quite like but very close to how vintage dresses were hemmed back then and that the stitches were invisible in areas where they should be invisible, as we previously agreed. The third dress was mended for light tears on the front part of the dress - this was alright but probably not exactly as invisible as I’d hope it to be considering the fabric of the dress and its vintage condition. Overall broadly happy with the outputs — the prices are midrange and I’d say competitive given the area, though I’d strongly caveat that their good points are likely around straightforward repairs and tailoring needs - hemming, shortening, taking in, etc. It’s more of a drop and collect type of tailoring service. When it comes to dresses and clothes for ladies which may require some more detailed discussions on possible options to repair or alter as well as those for delicate fabrics and clothes requiring special attention (e.g., vintage dresses), I’d personally prefer to take it to tailors specialising on these types of clothes and those that typically have dedicated areas for appointments, consultations and fittings.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. I purchased 2 Ted Baker jackets (1 winter, 1 spring style), both of which slightly too big for me at the waist. I brought the jackets straight from the store to Diamond Tailors & Dry Cleaners. The owner is very friendly and professional, who made a promise to let me know the progress of how the stain removal goes through texts. The jacket came back like new! Have visited Diamond over the last few years for all my dry cleaning and alteration needs. Have always received really fantastic, friendly and reasonably priced service. Most recently they have taken up a bridesmaid dress, taken in the waist of a leather skirt, shortened the sleeves on a wool coat and repaired various pairs of trousers and tops I have variously damaged. I was recommended Diamond TDC by a couple of friends so eventually me and my husband decided to go and give our Canada Gooses both a bit of TLC. Walked in to the store was greeted by the brother who took a few details from us and informed us of what he can do to our jackets. My jacket was more damaged than the Mr’s but nonetheless it wasnt a issue for this company as they managed to sort it out completely! Was super impressed with the work as its an expensive coat i didnt want anything going wrong with it but now it looks brand new like ive just bought it from the shops again! Unfortunately had an issue with my wedding dress alterations. I have asked to shorten the skirt a bit which was done well, but somehow the holder for the skirts (the little hoop that allows you to lift all your skirts together and walk and dance easier) was cut off. I have asked to reattach it, but that turned out to be a very difficult task, as was a bit unclear how they used to be attached. In the end they said they figured it out. Unfortunately when i came home and tried it on, the hoop fell apart before i finished putting it on... such a little thing but it now mean i can't dance in this skirt (or i ll try to fix myself later!)

After viewing all the glowing reviews, I also got my precious wedding dress dry cleaned. They even managed to get rid of the red wine that I thought won't come off... the gentleman is very professional, gave really great advise. Hidden Gem in London’s East End! Experienced for sure. I work in the UK’s financial district and have tried many other places. I can undoubtedly conclude that Diamond T&DC are the best. I gave in some very beloved clothing of mine which were extremely delicate. Respectfully they did advise me of the possible outcomes and risks involved with getting the items cleaned. I believe they paid extreme due care and attention on my garments. I won’t lie they are not the cheapest, but would definitely recommend if you are looking for quality. These guys did a great job with my wedding dress which had several makeup stains and water marks on it. They got it looking spotless within hours and I was able to pick it up on the same day. Excellent service!! I had 3 items taken care of here: -Puffer jacket: I previously had the jacket dry cleaned somewhere else and it got totally ruined and shrunk. I had to get a new one & was naturally hesitant to get it dry cleaned again. I could not recommend more. I've used most of their services: washing and drying (both clothes and linen); dry cleaning delicate and/or expensive items like suits and ties; I've had clothes repaired and every service has been exceptional - even stains that I thought were impossible to get rid of. All of this for very affordable prices (especially for London). Additionally, their (free!) delivery service works brilliantly (they do evening and Saturday pick ups and deliveries which is a godsend for anyone with a "regular" 9 to 6 work schedule). Lastly, everyone I've ever dealt with was always very professional, polite and friendly. An exemplary business in my book.

Been using this family business regularly to clean my shirts, and also for alterations and repairs. Friendly, helpful, and reliable. I recently took in a shirt with a frayed collar, which I thought was probably beyond repair. They found some similar fabric from an old shirt they had, and remade the collar from scratch. You can't see the difference, and the shirt is now good as new.

On Monday I dropped off 2 gowns (1 silk) that were both extremely dirty & covered in many various stains... I honestly expected them to be unsalvageable. The man working was so friendly when I dropped them off, and said he could get 1 ready for a Thursday event. Went for denim alterations. First with one - just to test the water- I agree it was something not-so-easy one. That came out quite alright. So I took another 5 those are not as hard as the first one. They passed with flying colours. They even honoured me with a discount as well. That means I don’t have to buy new denim and I can use the existing ones.
