We used the wash and fold service and thought it was great! We only moved to the area a few weeks ago and we are so glad to have a laundry on our doorstop. Sad to see so many unfounded negative reviews. I hope more people will support this local business, we only have good things to say.

I normally don't do reviews, but after reading the last comment I felt the need to say something because I was there that day and I think the review is unfair. I've been doing my laundry here for a long time and the staff has always been kind and helpful. I've never had a problem with them and even though I would love they staid open a little longer there's always been a sign specifying the working hours and that the last washing time is at 3pm, which gives you enough time to do your laundry. Last Saturday I was finishing my laundry between 3:20pm and 3:30pm when the lady from the previous comment came in to start her washing and she was politely told that unfortunately the last wash should start no later than 3pm because they closed at 4pm. The lady seemed upset, because of the situation, and she wasn't very nice to the staff, creating an awkward moment before she left. Later on her, friend showed up around 3:40pm looking for her, but as the lady had gone, she left as well. I can understand her frustration but her review doesn't reflect what really happened and if someone was rude it was her. I've always had a great experience in this place and I'll continue doing my laundry here.

I have been there twice now to wash my clothes. Very nice local place. However was not really comfortable with one of the Spanish speaking ladies there. I'm pretty sure she swore in her language when I asked a question and walked away. Just makes me not want to come in when she's there. Apart from that very lovely place. (This was my wife's experience).

Can not say I am satisfied with the quality of service. They have lost two of four buttons on my coat, even the spare one on the label. Later same day I got a call from the receptionist lady who was very kind to me and offered me to come for a free button service. I decided not to turn back but I really appreciate that they cared about this problem.

Did a wash using their machines. Overall OK experience, large washers were £7 a cycle, medium £6 (35 min cycle). Dryer cost £1 for 6mins. Machines were dated but did the job.

I find this place friendly and full of lovely people, weekends specially, has a lovely atmosphere, and the ladies are helpful and understanding, Joyce always has an smile for everyone, and my shirts always on time, I notice works are been going on for some time. Never the less the most welcoming place in Newington Green.
