I was really pleased to find out that this company was based locally. We needed a top to tail service that encompassed cleaning, relining and rehanging. They delivered! They even replaced the curtains with a temporary pair in the meantime! The finish was immaculate and the service was very personable. I can't recommend them enough for salvaging my mum's favourite curtains! Thank you!

Used this company for cleaning two sets of heavy curtains that had been up for several years. Good service from ringing up to make the appointment, to Gregory coming round to give a quote, then Gregory returning to take down the curtains for cleaning, then returning a week later to re hang them. So nice dealing with someone who is so experienced. Would definitely recommend this company.

Used them for the first time to get my 7 year old curtains cleaned and they came back fresh. Gregory came to do quote, and then to return and re-hang curtains. He was excellent throughout. Taking care to explain the service and handling my curtains as if they were precious and expensive items! Office also called to explain risks to the rings in curtains so I understood and could decide. A truly professional outfit and I would definitely recommend. My large white curtains and blinds were cleaned, washed and rehung to perfection during November 2020. When Ian, who was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable, rehung these in several rooms, they were gleaming white, clean and fresh, just as though they were brand new again.. Fabulous service. I had my curtains cleaned and one pair shortened. Gregory is obviously a curtain pro, he handled my curtains with care and paid attention to detail when re-hanging them. He is also courteous and very personable. I'm delighted with the quick service and I'm delighted with my curtains! Highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to having my sofa and curtains cleaned by this company. The reviews seemed really good and the gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately the individual who came out to provide a quote was quite difficult-he seemed unhappy from the moment he arrived I was very surprised. He did say it was his first day back after the coronavirus so maybe he was just anxious? He called first to arrange a time then phoned back to say. that he would be coming earlier as someone else had canceled - that was fine. He was then late and seemed quite annoyed when he arrived saying that the van had broken down. He looked at the sofa very briefly (only the visible areas but maybe that's all they can do now?) and said they could not help as it had a water damage stain (fair enough - it is from a bissell cleaner ) and that cleaning may make the stain worse. He didn't suggest anything else - recovering etc. He didn't look at the curtains before leaving. I think perhaps he was having a very bad day- car breaking down , first day back and anxiety over the virus. I just got the impression he wanted to leave. At least he was honest in his assessment but it would have been good if he could have been half as friendly or helpful as the people on the phone. I wish I had been able to use this company as the other reviews are excellent and the people on the phone were great. Perhaps just an off day.

I always have my curtains and upholstery cleaned by Pilgrim Payne. They do a fantastic job, are reliable and trustworthy. They are not cheap but are worth every penny. In particular I want to praise John who gets out stains that I didn't think were possible to remove. On his recent visit he transformed my 7 year old white sofa so that it looked like a new purchase! And he magicked away two unsightly spots from a cream curtain. He is Mr Magic Man!!
