All types of household waste can be deposited at Spring Vale. From mattresses, cardboard, scrap metal, rubble, small electrical items, general waste etc. Staff member at the barrier asks what items you're deposing of; from your reply they will direct you to the various skips. Other staff members are stationed inside & will assist should there be a need..

When throwing out some old blinds my watch snagged on a cable and ended up in the bin. Luckily for me a couple of staff were there and immediately set to work rescuing my exceptionally sentimental watch. 5 minutes later "Armband B" had wiggled the watch into a tub and muscled the tub, and watch, out again. Absolute legend! Every time I've used the centre the staff have been exceptional, and this is just another example of how good they are. Especially in a very busy period as today was.

Pretty tidy for a tip. Got to be careful of rubbish on the floors puncturing your tyres. The staff are always helpful if you're not sure what rubbish goes where, just ask them. Can't give it 5 stars it's a bit of a dump.
