J. N.Stopped in and had two great pints (pictured here, the Amarillo DDH Pale). Really impressed by the craft beer scene in Edinburgh on my recent visit. As a Californian I take my beer seriously, and so do they. Also just a nice place to chill out front and watch the clouds roll in as I did last Saturday
A. G.Nice start to the beer day! Crisp refreshing beer in the upstairs taproom with a view over the steelwork.
Their weissbier is very good too.
R.Having lived in the Czech Republic, it definitely have trained my taste bud for beers. I have been let down by beers here in Edinburgh. But finally, I found some great beer here at Moonwake! I am so happy now I know where to go for a proper beer.
J. C.This evening we went to a beer and cheese event…Moonwake, in collaboration with Azimut, a brewer from Bordeaux, were showcasing both their own beers with French and Scottish cheeses. Except there were no French beers from Azimut (thanks to brexit) - they are coming at the weekend apparently. We still had a really nice evening though. We were served 4 Moonwake beers and 2 Spanish beers instead. The beers were all Lager/ IPA types - it would have better in my opinion to have also served a bitter and a stout too. The cheese was very good, especially the 2 Scottish cheeses. We had a generous ramekin each with 3 French cheeses and 2 Scottish cheeses. All in all I think they did very well and we’ll go to other events there too.
S. H.Ordered a mixed box of Moonwake online and was not disappointed really great flavours, favourite so far is the Weissbier. When can we get this on pub taps down south!
J. F.Stunning little place! Staff are all lovely, and the atmosphere is great! All the beers I've tried have been ace - the rye IPA is a must try, and the lager is super smooth and clean. Highly recommend popping by
J. C.Fantastic beer, fresh and crisp. Rye IPA is a must, Yuzu Lager and Selery Goose are great too. The taproom located over the brewery makes the whole experience even more special. I recommend booking the table in advance , as it's getting quite busy after 6 pm.

surprisingly accessible as well, there's a large lift up and a fair amount of room to maneuver
