Lovely tour, we loved it! Our tour guide(if Im not wrong Oliver) was very knowledgeable and charming. The tour was engaging and educational since you learn about tgin, the ingredients, history...Overall great fun with a happy ending with a free gin & tonic. My favourite is the Garden Gin and this should not be limited edition only!

Absolutely loved the gin tour! Very interactive, informative and well organised. Our tour guide was also very charming and passionate about the brand which made it an even more enjoyable experience. This should be in everyone’s list when visiting London!

Love a good Gin. It's even better at Beefeater Distillery, London.
Ollie who was the tour guide, told us a what to expect thought out the experience..
Ollie was brilliant, he showed enthusiasm and spirit. He went though the tasting with us which was really interesting and really fun.
I really enjoyed the whole experience, I learnt the ways of Gin and had so much fun whilst doing so.
It's a great experience! Definitely recommend this experience to any Gin fan.
After the tour and tasting we had a G&T, sat back and took in the surroundings, a G&T in actual distillery.

Great little tour lasting just over an hour explaining over 200 year's of London gin history. Getting to walk around the distillery to see the process of gin making was interesting. The ingredients tasting was fun. Also get free gin and tonic at the end in the bar.

Today we went on a special tour of the Beefeater Gin distillery in London. Believe it or not ALL their gin is made on site in London (then shipped to Scotland to be mixed with Scottish water and bottled) before being shipped globally to some of the finest establishments and homes worldwide (including ours ;) ). We were talked through the botanicals and their importance in the flavour. Although the secret remains heavily guarded. Darn! We got to try some of their premium gins including an exclusive ‘Garden Gin’ specially distilled as a limited edition. We were told that the small handful of distillers manually check each batch and mostly so this with their nose. So exact is the recipe for Beefeater Gin. In the process in order to pull a sample from each batch this is done from something called a ‘Spirit Safe’. This is a small box where a sample can be taken to check quality and the progress of the distillation. Each of the distillers sense of smell is checked and calibrated every two years!!
The original created of Beefeater Gin was called James Burrough. They still have one of his original stills in the distillery which is still used to this very day for their most premium blends! (You’ll see an older looking still in one of the photos)
My favourite is their new Pink Strawberry Gin. But when this isn’t available a good G&T goes down a treat. If you’re ever in London and at a loose end of what to do squeeze in this tour it’s well worth the time and money.
