Amazing array of quality wines for all budgets. Have known Ken for years and everyone there has an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine. Great advice on wine matching too. Ken did the wine matching for our 2021 Christmas Dinner. There were some astoundingly good wines that really worked so well. One of the great things about Ken is he encourages you to try new varietals. Never had a bad recommendation over all the years we have shopped there. It is a gem of a shop and I really advise you to go and try some of the great wines

I've mostly bought beer here - fairly small range but it is well chosen and it's kept in the fridge. Recently I wanted a case of wine for my parents birthdays, and knowing little about wine, asked the owner to help me choose. He is so knowledgeable and accommodating of different budgets. Strong recommend.

Person we spoke to was very knowledgeable. They asked us what wine we tend to drink and our budget. They then popped into the shop and selected 3-4 bottles and brought them out to a table outside (covid safe). He then briefly talked us through each and we selected one to purchase. It turned out to be a very good choice and something we wouldn't typically have gone for. We will be back!

Love this place. Small shop but with a fantastic range. The owner is lovely and has never lead us wrong with a pairing for food. Most recently he picked a perfect Gewurztraminer for our curry. Will be popping by shortly for a few special Christmas bottles.

I was looking for a gift for my son. They were most helpful. It's only a small store, so presumably it pays for them to stock more unusual wines you wouldn't find in a supermarket. Owned by a Frenchman who knows his onions (so to speak). Will definitely go back there.
