Cracking little wine shop, with an excellent range of unique wines and great outside area to sample them and relax with some snacks in the sun. We also did the Thursday night wine tasting which was great, very reasonable and really informal with wonderful wines from small producers across the world. Simon who runs the shop and the tastings is very knowledgeable and a really nice bloke! Highly recommended

Excellent and knowledgeable service from the owner Simon. He makes the effort to know the owners of the vineyards from where he buys his wines from. The Whirly Wine shop has an outdoor space which I only discovered today, where one can enjoy a glass or two. I went home with a great organic, biodynamic Riesling.

A rare gem of a shop with a lovely owner Simon, and Dash ! The wine selection is very good and Simon has great knowledge which he is willing to share. The shop is on a lovely quiet road just off the high street. Perfect for any quick glass after work or the whole evening.

Great selection of wines all made the more interesting from owner Simon who is very welcoming and knowledgeable. We recently went to one of the organised wine tastings which was great fun and fantastic value for money. Not your average wine shop, can’t recommend highly enough!

Moved to Balham last year but only just discovered Mr Whirly and his wine shop! Friendly and unpretentious place with a lovely owner who took time to explain the various wines. Bought a sensational Spanish white!
