Top place make no mistake! I've purchased ales here albeit intermittently, throughout my twelve or so years living in the Heaton area. I go to the supermarkets don't get me wrong, but their selection is good, especially for me as a predominantly (though unfussy) lager and beer drinker. Top guys put the graft in for sure, and the prices are very reasonable whilst the regular late opening is handy when you need some tinnies and don't fancy hitting the boozer. Give it a try next time.

Absolute best store for buying booze, there’s nowhere better. Ridiculously vast range all types of booze. John and Cameron are both top guys with unbelievable knowledge of all the bottles from all over the world.
