My partner Jeremy got in touch with Stuart to fix a patio door lock. Stuart arrived promptly, talked through all the options, and fixed lock and realigned doors for a very reasonable price. Excellent service, fully recommended.

UPVC door wasn't locking. Stuart arrived later the same day. Quickly worked out the problem and was able to fix it. Showed me how to adjust it in the future. Flat fee as it needed no parts. Seemed to be a good honest tradesman.

Fantastic service - our door suddenly broke and we couldn't lock it from the outside. Stuart came out on a Sunday morning to fix it - no extra charge for coming out on a weekend; fast, efficient and tidy and even checked our back door - a similar type of lock - to make sure that it was not heading for the same fault (thankfully it was fine). Also gave us excellent advice on maintenance and keeping the door and lock in good condition. Would absolutely recommend and would call him immediately if we ever needed a locksmith again.

Stuart came out within the hour to repair our UPVC door when the multipoint lock failed, He was very quick and tidy and when you consider the alternative of a new door he is also very reasonable with his prices too. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, he also showed me the damaged components, he is a thoroughly honest and up front tradesman. I cannot recommend him enough.

I left a very fast 5 star review without context. I wish to edit. I phoned the gentleman but had a family emergency, he immediately put me onto another member of his team who fitted me in during a busy period. He told me all the costs and what would needed to be done before any agreement. My front door is old and twisted due to being weather beating. The tradesman had the parts in his van and was able to fix my burst lock after striping down the handle giving me advice all through the process what would be needed. After under an hour it was completed with new keys. I also have to add, the guy came out 5 months later to tweak a few screws in the mechanism as the key was tight due to my old door and never charged a thing. All and all, a great service.

It was an emergency!! And we needed a locksmith asap, managed to get in contact with S Galloway locksmiths quickly and soon afterwards he was at our house. Before long he had our front door fixed up good as new,he replaced the lock and handles. Woke up Monday morning to find my motorbike disc lock was damaged, probably due to failed theft attempt, so I wasn't able to unlock it myself and get to work. Fantastic service! Our UPVC door wasn’t locking, and with a new baby I couldn’t risk leaving it but was nervous about the fees. Based on the strength of previous reviews, gave S Galloway a call and left a voicemail. Call was returned, problem diagnosed and door fixed, all within the hour!
