Excellent Health Club. Great facilities, range of classes and friendly, helpful staff and Instructors. Lovely cafe area too with a good choice of menu. Food and beverages all very good quality and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Bannatyne's for good all round Health & Fitness.

Go here with the wife for massages and to use the gym, pool, sauna and steam room. It’s generally a good experience although there were limits due to COVID recently so beware, not all those were communicated to us prior to arrival.

Joined just under a year ago I reviewed it then saying it was a bit tired but a good facility after all this time using the gym 2 or 3 times a week sometimes no one has approached me to ask how I'm doing do I need help would I like advice perhaps it's up to the customer but it would be nice to be nurtured with a view to me signing for ghd next year...

One of my favourite places to be friendly members & staff, extensive range of quality services including huge well equipped, air-conditioned gym, great rangevof classes, pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room, cafe bar & spa, in my opinion its offers fantastic value for money

Getting fed-up with jacuzzi being out of order for cleaning during the times I visit the gym. Should be emptied, cleaned and refilled at the end of the day, not in the morning. Not fair on those members paying their fees to use this facility and on a regular basis not being able to.

Good gym, good pool, great sauna and steam and an awesome hot tub but very expensive to be a member. More than double what I was paying for puregym. Albeit there are more facilities than just a gym but still. 4/5 from me purely because of the price.

I have been a member of various gyms in the last 20 years, and the Bannatyne gym at Dunfermline is by far the best. The gym is large with plenty of equipment, so that you can almost always use the machine of your choice. The outstanding thing about the Bannatynes Gym is their use of technology, from being able to book classes online to the use of the Myzone belt to monitor your effort at the gym, and the emails you get to tell you how well you have done that day / week / month. It's all very motivational and certainly works well for me. There are different memberships available along with additional bundles that include the myzone belt and regular sessions with personal trainers. In my experience, a lot of gyms take your money and don't seem to care if you go or not, whereas the Bannatyne Gym really seem to care that you get the most out of the experience and benefit from everything they have to offer.

Overall a good gym and range of classes, especially the hatha and vinyasa yoga. Steam room is good and swimming pool appears to be cleaned regularly and is warm. Always someone cleaning showers and floors in changing areas so that is a big thumbs up! Staff at front desk need to be better trained to be able to deal efficiently and courteously with the range of queries that come in. Maintenance is an issue at the gym with some equipment not fit for purpose e.g. some bikes can't be adjusted in RPM suite and jacuzzi and drying machine out of order with delayed or no plans to get these things fixed. Class times have not been organised well or gym arranged with any thought or foresight e.g. Yoga classes are on same time as RPM which means you can't hear yoga instructor over the RPM noise as rooms not soundproofed. Also might be better to have classes like that back to back so you can do both. Decor is now worn looking. Ceiling in main class room looks dirty with bits missing and carpet seen better days and sofas in cafe fit for dump! Cafe is really good, especially protein pancakes and smoothies.

Just a good gym and saunas

Had a few issues with membership with head office who where exceptionally unhelpful however when I brought these problems to the Dunfermline club once they re opened after 1st lockdown they where dealt with quickly and with common sense which had been lacking from their southern counterparts. A 5 star to the management and membership team at the Dunfermline club and zero stars for head office. Whilst I was a member staff where always polite, chatty and helpful. Nice facilities
