My experience with this Health Club has been very good to date. They offer a wide variety of classes, even now, during lockdown, when there are fewer options. The lockdown processes are very firmly and strictly in place and I feel very comfortable getting my muscles back in shape during this time. Though now limited, there are still excellent offerings available at the cafe, like the avocado smoothy. Some of the food is not fantastic and some instructors are better than others, but the number of options make it possible to find the right thing for you. I have not yet used the spa, but that is another useful feature.

Had our first ever spa experience here today with an afternoon tea a treat for my friends 30th got to say staff were fantastic place was good massages were absolutely fantastic but absolutely gutted with the afternoon tea payed a lot of money for this only thing that let us down

Wouldn't go to any other gym Bannatynes has everything you need ..especially loving DJ being in at the weekends ...then chilling in the pool and Jacuzzi after ...staff are all chatty too :)

Was here this morning for a spa day with my sister after receiving a voucher for my birthday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Front of house girl was great, showed us where everything was, she couldn't have been anymore helpful. Whilst waiting in our treatments we used the spa facilities they were great, very relaxing. After having our treatments we chose to go back through to the poolside, upon leaving we realised we had forgotten to lift our towels. When we got back to the changing rooms we were verbally assaulted by a member of the club, calling us stupid, no common sense hurling abuse at us whilst we showered. Overall we had a nice morning treatments were great, would have given a higher review had we not been treated the way we were by members, for something as silly as forgetting our towels and getting the floor a little bit wet. Not all members will be like this I understand this.

Great facilities but quickly becomes very busy and you can be standing around waiting for machines or benches for a good while. As well there are no punch bags it speed bags that are in there own room making it very loud and distracting when people go on them. I for one like to use a punch bag but feel extremely self conscious doing it next to someone who just want to do some yoga.

Joined just under a year ago I reviewed it then saying it was a bit tired but a good facility after all this time using the gym 2 or 3 times a week sometimes no one has approached me to ask how I'm doing do I need help would I like advice perhaps it's up to the customer but it would be nice to be nurtured with a view to me signing for ghd next year...

Looks a little dated but has all the necessary equipment and very friendly staff. Mixed crowd of young and old, male and female, so you're not met by the typical Pure Gym triangular ape brigade. Don't forget legs day.

my friend and i visited today for a spa day and then treatments. michelle kim and another girl on reception were lovely and welcoming amd spent time speaking to us. the swedish massage and facial were amazing. lauren and sophie were great wish they stayed closes as i would get a massage from they every week of i could. so sensitive and relaxing. couldnt fault them atall.

Relax place for a spa day. Layout a bit awkward unless you have a robe and can wonder from pool too cafe and spa. Great gym facility and big changing room
