Melissa is an awe inspiring abundance of talent and knowledge. She has helped me when others couldn't. Her attention to detail to my specific needs have always been second to none and she has helped me in many areas with techniques that leave me feeling wholesome, happy, energised, brighter and healthier. Melissa provided me with solid after care advice from acupuncture and also life skills in maintaining energy levels without relying on caffeine. I had a reiki treatment at Niroshini - despite being somewhat skeptical, it was something I'd wanted to try. Melissa made the whole experience very relaxing and I drifted off (not sleeping) as if my mind was working through various ideas and making connections. I have had an awareness of life, being more than it seems on the surface. At the time I scheduled a session with Melissa, I had read a book by Dolores Cannon and was intrigued to experience Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). Very thorough information and preparation was shared, prior to the session. It was a heart-warming experience, with Melissa guiding the session. The QHHT, brought a sense of comfort and relief. I had never experienced Reiki & knew very little about it, but I had suffered second degree/partial thickness burns across the length of my right inner arm & to a lesser extent on my back & was still in constant pain, a week after the injury. Melissa took the time to explain the derivation of the treatment to me; "Rei" meaning universal life, & "Ki" for energy. The following morning, for the first time since the accident, I no longer needed pain killers. Having had my dressings changed the same day as Melissa's treatment & having been given a sling to keep my hand elevated, the unexpected but very welcome result seemed to attest to the complementary nature of Reiki healing, which as a consequence I will retry when needed in the future; preferably from Melissa.

I had a course of Facial Acupuncture treatments from Melissa, as I felt my system needed a boost and maybe improve my skin at the same time. I had a bit of a fear of needles too! As a result I think I have been on a bit of a journey, being really nervous of the thought of acupuncture, as I assumed it would be painful despite hearing only good reports from others that had experienced it. By the end of the 10 treatments, I was positively embracing this lovely experience; Melissa clearly loves what she is doing. She was aware of my fears and did her best to help me relax. Looking back on the pictures from day 1 onwards and comparing to the latest ones, my face and skin look and feel improved. I always walked away from a session with a glowing complexion. I feel much better about my appearance and I put that down to feeling better inside.
