Aristea is probably the best masseuse I have ever experienced in my life. I have been working with her for around four years and always feel immediate results - the key is consistency and working with her often to target problem areas and general wellbeing. Aristea's technique is both methodical and completely intuitive - she has an incredible knowledge and understanding of the body. Engaging, kind, thoughtful, and hard-working, there is no one I would rather trust with my muscular and skeletal systems. I am so grateful to have found Aristea! I have tried so many practitioners over the years, due to tight, constricted muscles with referred pain and headaches, but with disappointing results. I booked in for a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Aristea (Althea) because I spend far too long each day, at work and at home, sitting in chairs, often with bad posture. I wanted to have someone knowledgeable work through the kinks in my muscles, but also to feel relaxed and at ease. On all three, Aristea was worth the wait! She is experienced and able to identify problem areas, work through the tensed up muscles and recommend stretches and other things to carry out at home in order to remedy them. She also helped me feel relaxed, at one point I could easily have drifted off. I'm glad that she works from a centre within walking distance, too, as I was quite ready to lie down and continue enjoying this state of peace following my massage treatment. Will definitely return for more treatment in future!

Aristea is a wonderful therapist, full of energy, with a lovely personality and magic hands so it’s a joy to be with her. Aristea is one of the kindest, knowledgable and exceptional massage therapists I’ve met. Her positive energy is electric and she really is practiced in the art of massage therapy. I’ve been seeing her regularly for five months as she has helped with my upper back and shoulders so much. My posture was awful and I was very tense but after a few treatments my back was feeling less tense and my posture improved. I also like the fact she offers natural remedies and gives recommendations to couple the massage with yoga exercises as this has helped open up my back and shoulders. I think she has a smashing personality coupled with her exceptional technique. I thoroughly recommend as she has magical and healing hands! She really does go the extra mile and is happy concentrating on the affected areas.

After 6 weeks of hard work I needed to de-stress and chose one hour deep tissue massage at Althea. That was a great choice. Aristea was very professional, she made sure to focus on the areas most problematic and stiff, and her hands worked magic. She transferred her positive energy onto me and I left the place revitalised. Very caring approach, reminding me to drink enough fluids after massage, and gave advice on how to minimise muscle pain by sitting and walking consciously so the pressure is not too heavy. I will definitely visit Althea again.
