I have trained with many different instructors and I can honestly say Phil is one of the most knowledgeable, friendly and skilled teachers I have had the privilege to train under. His teaching methods are brilliant and his lessons are full of light bulb moments! Phil has many layers as a teacher and offers great advice in nutrition and general fitness as well as being a very capable, skilled Martial artist.
If you are looking for fitness training or learning a Martial art then I can think of no better teacher in Kent than Phil Ireland.

I've trained with Phill for well over a decade now - the reason for that is simple I've made progress continually and have enjoyed every single session I've had during that time. I'm a coach myself and I think every coach needs their own: I benefit physically, mentally and professionally from my weekly one-to-one sessions.
Phill has shared so much with me over the years - Doce Pares - Philippino stick fighting and knife work, Thai Boxing and grappling. His knowledge is immense, and he has a great eye for detail. Both of my older daughters have trained with Phill too and had a lot of fun as well as worked hard.
Can't recommend training with Phill highly enough.

After many years of back pain, I had often dismissed the idea that it could get better neither mind bearable. I was very wrong! Phill really knows his stuff and has turned my troublesome back into an actual working part of my body, which trust me, was no easy job having had various chiropractors, osteopaths, and even deep tissue massages to no avail. However, after a few massage sessions with Phill I very quickly noticed a drastic difference.
I have also been to several Combat Conditioning Classes and they are brilliant. I am far from an exercising person, but the sessions are and intense workout whilst being fun and stress busting at the same time. :D

Phill Ireland is the ultimate professional and a genuinely nice bloke. From when I first started kickboxing I couldn’t run a mile without running out of steam. I have now recently completed the Berlin Marathon in 2016 and I plan to do more. He has massively helped and encouraged me to achieve my goals and realise my potential. I find his limitless knowledge of coaching techniques, expertise, dedication, patience and boundless enthusiasm inspiring.
Also when I’ve been injured Phill has taken great and attention using physiotherapy to get me back on track again.
I cannot speak highly enough of Phill & Ireland fitness. If you’re interested in keeping fit, martial arts or ultramarathons Phill is your man.
