N. P.I completed a level 3 diploma in massage therapy with Gail in 2021 and I am so pleased I chose to study with her. The whole experience was highly enjoyable and Gail is an expert in her field. She holds and teaches extremely high standards leaving confidence that you've been trained by the best. Gail is supportive, friendly and has a great sense of humour. The course was really well structured and covers everything you need to know and more about being a massage therapist. Without hesitation I would rate Gail and her Academy of Complementary Therapies with 5 stars.

Life happened in between and after caring for our mum, with complex health needs for 4 years and her sadly passing away this year - 2021, I knew I had to refresh my skills in Massage and Sports Massage.
I searched online and found The Devon Academy of Complementary Therapies. After a lovely conversation with Gail Lowe, the Principal of the Academy, I decided that the CPD Post Graduate Sports Massage Training was exactly what I needed to do. After enrollment, I received a comprehensive online training with training videos of massage techniques, anatomy and physiology, plus more; everything I needed, in fact.
When it came to the day of assessment, Gail was a very professional, knowledgable and kind teacher. Her years of experience shone through. I would not hesitate to recommend Gail and her Academy as a place to upgrade your skills or to train with her from the beginning. She understands the industry inside and out and I hope to train with her again and gain business advice from her too. Thank you so much Gail! Just go for it. You'll be training with the best!

I found the practical sessions run by Gail Lowe fantastic where she explains not only the massage techniques in detail but also helps students to make links with the theoretical anatomy and physiology modules. The zoom sessions were also really helpful and supportive and all the theory on-line course material was informative and delivered in an interesting and personal way, which made the learning engaging and fun. There a lot of courses out there but I chose Gail’s because it has a more personal style with a contactable person and I prefer to support local businesses. The course was great as I was able to do it all in my own time and the content is professionally presented but also in an informal and fun way. I would certainly recommend to others looking to do an AP&P course.
P. B.The theory training is online at your own pace and is full of videos, quizzes and excellent tutorials. The practicals are in small groups and plenty of one to one tuition, help and advice is given. Gail is an excellent tutor who passes on her years of knowledge and expertise. I looked at several courses before deciding on ITEC with Devon Academy and would now look no further.

S. S.I am having level 3 body massage course. Gail is an excellent teacher who gave me a lot support and courage. The course setting is professional and efficient. Professional medical subjects like anatomy and physiology which help you have better knowledge base to step forward to become a professional therapist. The course also provide a lot practice opportunity, which polish your skills through your case studies. More important is, I build up my confidence during taking the course. Definitely recommend.

Gail is an excellent tutor, she explains everything to you, is very professional and knowledgeable. Having completed the theory on-line I then did the practical via Zoom which was an experience, Gail was so helpful, giving me invaluable feedback.

It took slightly longer than expected but hey, corona times; Gail and the team didn’t drop the ball and strived to continue to support us students via any means she could whilst keeping to government guidelines and rules.
Overall it was a great couple of course’s which I needed for the sports injury massage course which I will also be using the Devon academy of complementary therapies!
As former military I was able to utilise my ELCAS learning credits which the Academy is registered with, again this was seem less.
I found it highly enjoyable and interesting, nothing was too much trouble and the knowledge shared was fantastic.

T. F. F.I have trained to be a massage therapist here and also am doing a course in deep tissue massage and other massage techniques. The anatomy and physiology training was very thorough with very good videos and testing questions online, and then I did bespoke practical training to fit my personal schedule and I think the training was very good, making me understand the whys as well as the hows of massage therapy. I feel very confident now to set out on my own as a massage therapist and thoroughly recommend this course provider.

They theory part of the course was all online and then the practical section involved several 2 days courses learning how to massage. Small groups to study with and all the help you could ask for.
