Finishing up a weekend riding and I urgently needed a rear tyre in order to get back home. Every other place within 50 miles closed but I rang up MHB Motorcycles on a Bank Holiday and was greeted with a smile and coffee! Amazing service, very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough! Big thanks to Martin.

I was halfway through a 5.000 km trip and had a bad puncture that kept leaking - phoned them up 8.30 am on a Monday, 3 hours later was riding away with a freshly fitted tire. Were offered tea and use of their facilities while waiting. Additionally got my chain loosened up a bit as I've had it too tight. Big thanks to the heavily tatted mechanic!

Had a slow puncture on the rear tyre of my GS and found MHB whilst staying nearby who fixed it while I waited. Great service and friendly staff.

This place is just brilliant and Martin is an absolute Gem! Had a great little bike for sale, ready to go, has fab stock of bike gear in shop as well as bikes, and helped a new rider to learn gears. Took the time and patience with us, which was really appreciated! Thank you! One extremely happy customer!

I was looking for a 10Ten 90R Pit Bike for my daughter and spent some time trying to locate one. I come across MHB Motorcycles and gave them a call.
I spoke with Martin who confirmed they had 1 in stock and was ready to ride. He provided a lot of information and was a pleasure to deal with.
Delivery was arranged for next day and was delivered by Seth who provided a full run through of the bike.
Great company to deal with and I’m over the moon with the little bike. Highly recommended

Great company to deal with, Martin and Ryan both very helpful throughout the purchase of my vtr. They were very thorough to ensure the bike was perfect ready for collection. I would highly recommend these guys, nice selection of bikes, clothes, helmets, accessories and maintenance gear. Thanks.

The owner Martin is truly a great guy. He helped me out when I was flooded out on my Bike returning to Newcastle from a comrades funeral in Chester on Thursday afternoon. The shop looks amazing with some great bikes and quads. I will be popping in whenever I am in the area. If his customer service is as good as his helping out the shop will be an amazing place ... Highly recommended.

A hidden gem of a store and dealer. Saw an ad, phoned, had fair amount of contact, went, and at the end have now come away with my lovely vfr. Martin, Ryan and Paul of MHB are a professional team, a friendly bunch and i had an easy, great experience. Well taken care of, nothing was too much trouble for them. Although hidden away, I might pop-in when i pass periodically. Highly rated and definitely recommended. M.

I was on holiday in the area and had some brake issues on my bike. I gave MHB a call and they got me back on the road in no time. Absolute professionals and really nice guys. I can't recommend them enough.

Just picked up a used bike from Martin. What a fantastic experience.
Martin stayed open well beyond the stated closing time and didn't rush at all when we eventually got there.
Bike was as described in advert and he helped load the bike for me.
Excellent service and a pleasure doing business with.
Thanks again.

This week, I bought a (used) bike from Martin and the team at MHB. I first saw the bike in their eBay ad. I am 200 miles away, so needed to do some checks before making the purchase & the journey. Martin was very amenable in answering all of my (many) questions during the first telephone conversation - I agreed to buy immediately. Subsequent e-mails were replied to quickly and we arranged collection. I made the trip up. The MHB facility is very professional with some interesting bikes and lots of kit & parts. It is also in a lovely part of the country for walking & bike riding. My bike & documentation were exactly as described over the phone and in the eBay photos. The team was very helpful in getting me sorted out and loaded up. This was an excellent bike buying experience. If MHB was local to me, I would use them all of the time for MOT, parts & service. Thank you, Martin & the Team at MHB from this very happy customer.

Knowledgable, friendly, and a welcoming small (ish) dog. Martin and his team went out of their way to help us while we were visiting on holiday, doing a major repair, almost at the drop of a hat. Fantastic, thank you.

Martin from MHB motorcycles is a total life saver. He really saved my bacon. I was in the middle of nowhere with no mobile reception and a flat tire. Even though he was literally about to shut up his shop at 6pm he still came out and rescued me. He took me back to his very well equipped work shop, fitted a new tire, and had me on my way in no time at all.
He's a thoroughly nice guy and I would whole heartedly recommend him for any work you need done on your bike.
They also rent out some really amazing bikes that are perfect for riding the dales in the surrounding area.
Next time I'm here I will definitely be doing just that.
Thanks again Martin.

It was a pleasure to meet Martin and buy a Fantic from him. He went the extra mile to make me one very happy customer a Great guy to deal with highly recommended. Looking forward to seeing you and Paul in 600 miles.

I’ve got an AJP PR7 and am happy to say they’ve been great with the support I’ve received from them and look forward to many miles on the trails.
Lots of parts in stock and a wide range of clothing and accessories too.
Especially helpful was them making extra effort to suit my travel times.
Thanks again !

Can't thank Martin enough for saving my bacon on Saturday. On trip up north from the south coast I suffered a rear puncture on my loaded up Tracer coming out of Reeth on the remote road up to the Tan Hill Inn. I crawled up to Tan Hill thinking one of the mobile homer's or campers would have a 12v pump so I could find and plug my puncture. No joy. Lots of panicked googling and calling at lunchtime on a Bank Holiday Saturday and I came across MHB as the only bike shop open who could sort me out on a Saturday. After another scary 12 miles from Tan Hill to Kirby Stephen on a completely flat and destroyed Michelin Road 5 Martin had a new Pirelli Angel GT fitted and I was on my way within the hour. Martin was a genuinely friendly and helpful chap. Nice modern, clean premises with some lovely fanatics and other bikes for sale. And his trainee Myles makes a great cup of coffee too. What's not to like.

My Ducati Multistrada riding mate had just been telling me about the extraordinary service he’d received at “this place in Kirkby Stephen “ when he’d had a puncture on a run a couple of weeks ago, when his engine management light came on and the Ducati started sounding like a bag of spanner’s. Where were we ? Three miles from Kirkby Stephen ( and seventy from home, or the nearest dealer ) We limped into MHB. ( well, he did - my 18 year old Hayabusa was running like a Swiss watch ! ) The guys from MHB dropped everything to see if they could help. Using experience, skill , logic and trial and error - not only did they suss the problem and get the Duke running properly, they got us both a coffee. I was certain that my pal and his Italian stallion were heading South on a recovery wagon, and I was going home, but the wizards at MHB saved the day, and after a fantastic 235 mile day, I’m sat with a glass of red toasting the absolute gents that are MHB . Thanks fellas.

Returning from Northern Scotland TO Oxford my R100RT suffered a sudden and total battery failure. Martin recovered me and the bike back to their workshop within 1 hour from Tebay services. I was treated to a choice of bacon roll or a burger, coffee or a cuppa with an interesting chat with the guys working there on their lunchbreak whilst the RT was having a new battery fitted. I could not have wished for better treatment. The charge was less than I was expecting. If there were more people like these, we would'nt need the likes of the AA and RAC

Went to look at a AJP PR7. Great hospitality, they had all the time I needed to show me the bike, explain everything and even got free sweets.
Thanks guys. Hope to hear from you soon.

Brilliant (as usual). Great place. I travel over 40 miles to get the MOT and servicing done. That statement alone say's it. 5 stars

Can't overstate how helpful these guys were. I limped in having lost my gear lever rod in the middle of riding to Scotland. Martin got me a coffee and set to work fabricating a replacement and I was back on my way within an hour.

Excellent service, a bit slow on getting parts delivered but that's not their fault. Thank you for the help this week. A+++++
