Bought my first bike (125cc) from here. As I didn’t know what to look for in terms of good or bad I trusted these guys as they are a main Honda dealer. They sold me a bike which come with a few faults (which I later found out) which didn’t fill me with confidence. They rectified the faults which I was very happy with but please don’t take advantage of inexperienced buyers in future.

I was in the market for some new clothing. Grant spent 2 hours talking me through the options to make sure everything was spot on. I had contemplated buying on line but I would have missed out on the personal service and the great professional advice that only comes from experience.

The guy who runs the clothing department up the stairs ( has an Edinburgh accent I forget his name sorry. Grant maybe ?) is by far the best representative of a company I have come across . I turned up with a damaged jacket which was still under warranty. I was wearing the jacket at the time as it was a minor thing with the liner but I had a summer jacket with me to return to home . His words " I've got a Duty of care so I'm swapping the jacket like for like instead of sending to the manufacturer and having you leave without the proper gear . I wouldn't send you out without being safe " The weather was horrendous to put you in thr picture. He also sold me a pair of winter gloves at a very reduced price and spent ages making sure I got the best ones for me. Great service so a massive thanks to him. I'll be back to buy because of that. .... The salesman are alright aswell a suppose .hahaha.

First time I've been to victor devines since they moved from great western road. Needed various service items for my ST1300 and they had everything in stock. The chap on the parts desk could not be more helpful, giving advice on the right oil and coolant and even threw in a free bottle of engine flush. I'll definitely be back!

I visited today and had the best experience of customer care and service that I think I have ever had. The staff member's interest in what I wanted and in turn his advice on what to look for and how to check it for size etc was simply superb. I don't think I've ever wanted to review a place so much as I do today based on that excellent experience. Their enthusiasm for bikes was incredible, but that they were willing to share their knowledge so freely with a novice enquirer was quite simply brilliant. I can't wait to buy a bike now and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else to do it.

Can't fault the team here. Everyone was helpful, down to earth and attentive. Great line up of bikes, packed inside the showroom tight. Good range of kit here, too but not the most extensive. MOT turnaround is between 30 minutes to an hour, the mechanic will let you know. Helpful and honest bunch. While you wait, you can sit on the top floor. Recommended.

Bought my new bike here before Christmas. Jim arranged all the paperwork and delivery as I was unable to ride the bike for a short while. Buying process was great and I was very happy with purchase. Unfortunately, service since then has been poor. I booked the bike in for its first service for 0900 with three weeks notice. I turned up 15 minutes before the agreed time. On completing the pre service paperwork I asked how long the service would take to be told around an hour. A nice cup of free tea and a wander round the showroom later approximately 1030 I asked how the services was going to be told " not long, just the oil and filter to go on and a quick test ride". An hour later when I explained that I had to be away as I had another appointment at 1230 at home I was then told the same as before but informed they hadn't started my service till 1030. When I booked my bike in I asked for some help and advice to set the SAG on my bike after the service but as I had to rush away I didnt have the time to do this. I spoke to a member of staff who was aware of the issue with how long my service took. He said to call them when I could get back in and he would make sure someone was available to help me. I eventually left the dealer 3 and a half hours after I arrived. Fortunately I got home with literally a minute to spare for my next appointment. Fast forward a week and the only opportunity I would have for another month, I call the member of staff to say that I can get in later that day to get the SAG sorted. He took my number and said he would get someone to call me. Needless to say I heard nothing back. Very disappointed and an unacceptable below par standard of after sales and customer service. I believe credit should be given where it is due and I have added this paragraph to my review to reflect this. The team at Victor Divine contacted me after my review and we had an honest and open discussion about my issues. Thank you to the team for your honesty and helpful resolution of my issues and for listening to the my main points in context. I am confident that my experience was an exception and rare and your speedy action has convinced me that you set high customer service standards and where there is an issue you act quickly to resolve them. Thank you.

Can't recommend the clothing department highly enough for both sales and after sales care. Grant is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, no-nonsense guy. First class service based on what you actually need which is super rare these days (i.e. recommending a helmet according to what works the best for the type of bike you ride rather than pushing you to buy the most expensive with a full explanation of how and why what works). Highly recommend coming here over buying online, you will get great advice on fit as well as excellent post sale service if you have a warranty issue. If you see something cheaper online mention it to Grant and he will most likely price match it for you too. Also a first place in Scotland (and I've been to many a bike shop) where I can have an actual technical discussion on safety standards, materials, aerodynamics and how things are made - in depth.

Visited victor devines today for a browse , I’m recently retired and about to do my direct access scheme. So a total novice and looking for some guidance . From the moment I arrived I was approached by several members of staff asking if they could be of any assistance , all extremely courteous and pleasant . I observed a Honda cb 500 x I liked the look of tucked away in a corner , I was then approached by a gentleman by the name of Abe Berry, who in no time at all brought the bike out for me and explained everything about it in detail, also provided a few tips and guidance with regards bike types and general motorbike tips for a novice like myself. When I arrived to pick it up, I was talked through the bike, then went upstairs and bought a discounted helmet and gloves. The whole thing was super smooth, efficient and friendly. Bought my new AT in March 2019, Had it 29 days and the engine failed due to a faulty component. Honda were hard work to deal with direct but the staff at Victor Devine were superb. Alex (Sevice) Abe (Manager) and Alan (Technician) were on their A Game and got my bike back to me better than it was! Cannot thank these guys enough. I couldn't wait to leave a review after my visit to this Dealership in Glasgow yesterday and all for the massive purchase of a spare key for a bike I didn't even buy from them! I am disabled and walk with crutches. When I entered I saw the sign for the Parts Dept so headed towards the sign. As I passed one of the Sales Offices a bloke called Jim asked if he could help me. "No it's ok I'm just here to collect a key" says me. Jim asked me to take a seat in his office and left to bring the Parts guy to me as apparently they are upstairs. I apologise for this being so long and for something fairly simple but they didn't have to do that. So for a £10 part I got treated like I was buying a Fireblade. Go to this Dealer. They will take good care of you.

Motorbike shops in Glasgow have changed drastically in the last 20 years, and Victor Devines epitomises everything you would want or need in a shop. From the bike sales team who are very friendly and not at all pushy, to the fantastically well informed parts and clothing departments, you won't need to go anywhere else. I have been going back in and buying helmets , clothing and parts over the last 3 years and nowhere in Glasgow does it better in my experience. It is definetly worth a visit, pop in you may well be surprised, I was and have now become a regular customer.
