Took my Triumph Tiger in to have the chain/sprocket replaced and drill out a bolt that had snapped off in the swing arm! These guys are my new favourite motorcycle repair shop. Paul and the team at Gambier Reeks are truly fantastic. Recently the starter motor broke on my motorbike. Paul rebuilt the starter from scratch using different parts and saving me a small fortune. He even showed me the old starter and a diagram to explain how he fixed all. Five star service!

Highly recommend. I very rarely post reviews but had to post something to highlight the exceptional service I received today. Popped in to get a new bulb for my bike and although the team were very busy they still took the time to get me the right bulb and fit it for me there and then. Just had a major service carried out on my Fireblade - bike is now running perfectly - very happy as usual. Paul Reeks has been looking after my bikes since 1989 and the level of service has always been excellent and I would not consider going anywhere else! I have bought 7 bikes through Paul, both new and second hand always a good experience. There are very few people who put as much into their work as Paul Reeks - apart from genuinely loving his work he has enoromous experience that comes with so many years of surmounting the challenges working on all the major brands of motorcycles. Yesterday he was taking apart an ignition barrel and replacing parts to save a customer over a thousand pounds for a whole new lock set - you will rarely find service like this! I've sent all my friends to Paul too, so can't recommend Gambia Reeks highly enough! The workshop experience has been greatly enhanced with Lyn working on the reception, a friendly and welcoming manner - in great contrast to Paul's father who had held the fort for so many years! Overall if you want genuine honest service with care of a family run business then Gambia Reeks is the place!

I can't recommend Gambier Reeks highly enough - please don't hesitate to trust this local business with your bike. I took my 3yr old Honda in for its first MOT and asked if they could take a look at the seat latch (which had broken yet again!) while it was there. The MOT was done within the hour, and I received a call the second it was ready. Paul then fixed the seat catch right in front of me in a matter of minutes. I've spent the last 3yrs driving all the way across London to take the bike back to the Honda main dealer for servicing / repairs (and during that time they've not ONCE managed to fix the seat latch properly!). SO pleased we found Gambier Reeks who'll be getting our business going forward. Thanks very much.

Paul 'Gambier' Reeks motorcycles (was Riverside Yamaha) have been servicing and MOT testing my motorbikes for many years and have always done an excellent job. The price has always been very reasonable, costing much less than I had expected, plus with MOT facilities on site there is no 'presentation' fee. They have often pick-up and dropped off my bikes, so just ask. Their feed back and communication is always honest and knowledgeable unlike main dealer staff who are either condescending or just bumping up your bill with un-necessary parts. Highly recommended.

Not enough praise is given these days, and I'm not one for writing reviews but just felt I had to for Riverside Yamaha! Spoke to Paul who gave me estimate for a last min MOT and minor replacement, Paul quoted great price and said couple days notice, dropped bike in on Monday and Paul then called the next morning to advise bike was ready. Great service, quick and friendly. Needless to say I've found my regular garage to have bike serviced at. Thanks to both Paul's. Top service from top guys.

Thanks for sorting my bike guys! Was gutted to hear from another dealer that my bike was needing a new generator and regular rectifier after only having it for 2 weeks! £700 including labor!!! Called Paul as has serviced a few of my bikes before and he immediately told me that he highly doubt’s the generator has gone so he taken the bike and it hadn’t gone. The cost was below half to fix and now I’ve got my GSXR 600 back on the road! Cheers guys

I have bought 2 motorcycles for Paul over the years, also serviced by Paul. I have had my bikes repaired by several other shops over the years as i have moved about. Mostly bad experiences. In the end I usually make the long trek back to Yamaha in Fulham for Paul to work his magic . I took my FZ8 to a mechanic a couple of weeks ago. She was there four days during which the fault was identified but the solution eluded them. After four days, I was asked to take my bike somewhere else. Somewhere else ended up to be Riverside Yamaha. Liz was incredibly helpful. Gave me all the details I needed to transport Elsie (my bike) from North London to Putney. This was Thursday afternoon. By the close of business on Thursday the fault was identified - a corroded electrical relay reinstalled upside down a couple of years ago. After a healthy dose of hilarious expletives, Paul said my bike would be ready Friday afternoon. I went to pick Elsie up and she has been sweet since! I took her back in on Monday to get the rest of the wiring sorted out - apparently it was a complete mess with exposed wires under the tank (I am lucky to be alive I hear!) - and everything is peachy. I found that team professional and friendly as well as funny as hell! I thought I was going to get hit with a sort code size bill, but I was amazed at how reasonable they were. My new note to self is to take my Elsie nowhere but Riverside Yamaha! Thanks Liz and Paul! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Paul Reeks and his engineer Lou, are good folk. They go more than the extra mile to ensure satisfaction with every aspect of every job. The workshop is clean, looks efficient and is well equipped. If they could go without sleep then turnaround would be even faster!

Recently had my Tracer 700 first service. Delighted with communications (spot on price estimate) speed of the service, and quality and care taken. Not just an oil/filter change, but checked and adjusted both tyre pressures, adjusted chain tightness, and removed and cleaned brake calipers ("helps avoid problems in the future"). Couldn't ask for more.
