Just had my Triumph Sprint delivered by Pete from Shorrock Motorcycles. From start to finish they’ve been a joy to buy from. I saw the bike just before going on holiday, and after leaving a small deposit, Chris agreed to hold the bike until my return. A 3 hour drive to Preston, didn’t disappoint, the bike was exactly as described and in mint condition. They serviced the bike, put a new battery on and gave her a fresh MOT, delivering her to my house within the week. If you are in need of a new bike, check their excellent stock, I could have bought 3 others! They also have an excellent clothing department above the showroom. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, bikers themselves. If you are anywhere near Preston give them a visit. This leads me to my only complaint, they’re not near me! An easy 5 star recommendation from me, a massive thank you to Pete and Chris and all the team that made buying my bike such a pleasure.

Instant service in replacing the punctured rear tyre of my Triumph Thruxton R. Sourced the new tyre within a couple of days, collected my bike with no fuss and did same-day tyre fitting. I recently used shorrock motorcycles to sell my kawasaki vulcan 650 s (28.03.2022). I was fortunate to deal with both Peter and Chris aswell as will. I purchased a 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 1000sx from Shorrock's without actually viewing it. The guys on the phone were incredibly helpful and totally honest about the bike. The high resolution video placed on youtube was a huge factor in my decision to buy it. The bike was delivered in person to my house within a few days and the condition of the bike upon arrival was stunning! The bike looked brand new. They'd also given it a good look over in the garage and replaced the battery, checked the chain, brakes, tyres, pressures etc. 100% would buy from Shorrocks again. Superb service!

Both mine and my husbands bike have had tyres on and in my bikes case the rear bearing was replaced. Thoroughly pleased with the service we have received and thought it couldnt be any better until today !!! I went in to get my hubs a replacement waterproof suit for the one that was stolen along with his bike recently. I mentioned the theft and a discount was given immediately with a further offer of help towards the rest of the replacement items. Absolutely blown away and couldnt recommend them highly enough. Brilliant service, they bent over backwards for me when their standard insurance didn't cover me (their insurance policy doesn't cover riders with less than 12 months on their license) they spend about 15/20 minutes getting me added to their cover with the caveat that I had to have a companion on my test ride. I basically got a tour of the area. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and had no problem when I wasn't sold on the bike. They have a great shop.

Hi I would like to thank Chris and staff of Shorrocks for sorting out my bike. I bought a second hand Suzuki Inazuma about 4 weeks ago. I only managed to take the bike out for the first time last week. It developed a bit of an issue with the exhaust. I contacted Chris about it thinking a lot of dealers would have fobbed me off. However he was brilliant and reassuring. I had to transport the bike back to but it was sorted. When I was loading my bike on my trailer to bring it home after the repair, a couple of bikers came up to me. They wanted to know about my bike and importantly to them as they had travelled up from Wolverhampton was what the after sales service was like. They had read really good reviews about Shorrocks and I said to them as far as I was concerned they are true and justified.

I've been using Shorrocks since 2008. In that time, I've bought 2 bikes from them and their service has always been outstanding. My first bike was a GSXR which was excellent value. Shorrocks has serviced all my bikes and the staff are helpful with no request too big. The choice of clothing might not be as good as other 'superstores' but they always go above and beyond by simply ordering the items you want... usually at a cheaper price too. In January 2020, I bought another bike, a triumph sprint GT. I used a finance package which was easy to set up. Before I collected the bike, Shorrocks checked over the bike and they found that the rectifier wasnt working properly so they changed it and added a new battery. This was at their cost as they wanted to ensure that if a bike leaves their shop, it leaves in the right condition. I have nothing but positive remarks about Shorrocks and rightfully so as time and time again, they go above and beyond in all areas from bike sales, repairs, servicing and clothing to ensure happy and returning customers.

Really helpful staff, all you have to do is ask, if you’re just going in for a look they won’t pester you, which I love. I finally decided to go ahead and buy my dream bike, an MT07. I left a £100 deposit and then paid the rest in full in the following week, they were more than happy to hold the bike for me. During the scruteneering they do to all the bikes, they found a small nick in my rear tyre, it was not essential to replace it however I asked them to do so anyway and I got a very good discount on a new tyre! The mechanics seem to know what they’re doing, which is always helpful, and everyone is always happy to help! They have a massive selection of bikes at very competitive prices. When you buy a bike from them you’re welcome for life, with discounts on everything, for people who have bought bikes from them, cannot recommend highly enough.

I struggled to find a mechanic who cud fix my gearbox on my r1 big bang... what can I say TOM from shireoak motorcycles is a absolute legend of a mechanic he really nose what his doing he put a new gearbox timing chain n valve check n service and the bike is a completely different bike it's like new it was a big job as he had to remove the engine but that's no problem for this guy.... I trust TOM which is hard for me being a mechanic my self... he is a very busy guy u have to be patient as his working all hours to get his work done. his team n him self can't be any friendlier his my bike mechanic for life that's for sure... many thanks to TOM n his team I'm very grateful... I purchased my gsxr750 from shorrock motorcycles. I was coming a very long way (Kent) for it, so I asked as many questions as i could think of and they were very helpful and honest. When i saw the bike it was exactly as it was described. I would definitely reconmend buying a bike from them, they were friendly and seemed like they had time for me unlike some of the other bike shops ive been to. It was also nice to be given alone time to look over the bike. Nothing worse then a sales guy breathing down your neck giving a hard sale but these guys were not like that.They also seem to have a vast range of accessories upstairs. What a fantastic service. Bought a second hand 50cc moped from Chris. It was a surprise 16th birthday present for my daughter, so we had to time the delivery perfectly. They were great, I forgot to tax it and they did it for me, replaced the mirrors before delivery. Great shop for getting all your riding gear at Shorrock's. Just got myself kitted out for the up coming 2019 racing season. Now I'm ready to challenge for tha national classic motorcycle racing titles again. Really friendly staff that are there to help you out with different products available and helping you choose the right equipment for you. I've spent a long time looking through the internet for the right bike, I found an awesome looking Suzuki GSXR at Shorrock Motorcycles, I researched the shop and the bike and had the best confidence feeling about the shop that I paid a £100 deposit to secure the bike without thinking. I travelled 293 miles from a place near Swansea all the way to Preston and I wasn't disappointed! The bike came with a brand new MOT, Brand new service and a brand new rear tyre and 3 months warranty!! The shop looks small from the outside but as soon as you step inside there's loads of bikes to look at, walk upstairs to the accessories and the shop gets even bigger with tons of different parts. Customer service was perfect, I sent 2 messages through eBay before hand and I got instant friendly replies, walk into the shop to be greeted with professionalism and friendliness. Definitely recommend this shop!! And don't worry about traveling from afar!!

The Guys at Shorrock Motorcycles know what they are doing. I purchased a VFR800 crossrunner from these guys, it was beautifully prepared for my collection, which delighted me as i traveled nearly 300 miles to collect. I was met with cup of tea and a chat. Could not have been more helpful. This shop has been here for over 20 years and that speaks for itself really. If you visit don't forget to go upstairs as there are loads of accessories and bike kit that you cannot see from the windows when you look in. Very happy customer here!

A little gem of a business! The shop is like The Tardis, (much bigger on the inside) with a large upstairs retail area that's packed with loads of biking gear. The place is run by the owners who are very friendly and helpful. They gave me a good price on the bike I was after and then a great deal on a new helmet and boots. Ventured down from Glasgow to have a look at a GSX-R600 which was advertised on Autotrader. Having spoke on the phone the bike was described in good condition with various extras. Upon arrival I was immediatly offered a coffee and invited to take a look around the store and then to the bike I was down to see. The bike was in showroom condition with almost no evidence it had ever seen a road as well as still having the stock items which were removed from the bike which Chris kindly agreed to post to me. I didnt bother with a test ride and went straight to purchase. All in all my visit lasted between 3-4 hours and I was riding back to Glasgow on my new purchase. The guys were great and so is the selection of bikes they hold. When it comes time to change again they will be my first port of call.

I moved up this area last year and have been trying to find a real down to earth motorbike shop that knows its stuff as I used to have on the Wirral. They gave very good advice on what tyres to get for my old CBR1000F, ordered them in overnight and changed them while I waited (loose wheels). So far five stars, I have NEVER bought a bike on spec before and arranged everything over the telephone. The bike condition (Honda Blackbird) was explained to me in detail and more images offered if I wanted them. If you have ever bought a car on ebay you will know images can hide a million problems? So I was more than apprehensive. The bike was serviced and delivered two hundred miles (£200 delivery charge) by the next day which is very efficient and a reasonable delivery charge. It arrived on time and the delivery driver was a gem, took his time to explain everything and the bike is as described. I suppose the proof will be in the eating and how I am looked after if in the unlikely event I have a problem within the warranty period. (three months) Going on how things went during the sale I have no real concerns and would hope the same level of customer service and honesty would continue.

Having been let down by another bike dealer, I searched for a blue vfr800f on bike trader and was drawn to the one for sale from shorrocks for the great condition and mileage plus the reviews. I was nervous as I live 250 miles from the dealer so all the negotiation and purchase was done on trust over the phone with Pete and Chris. I was assured the bike was genuine and that the guys would service the bike and renew tyres etc and that the courier would take great care in delivering the bike so I parted with my money before even seeing what I had bought. I had to travel by train to get to Preston, but Shorrocks arranged a driver to pick me up from the station and take me to the showroom. I was only there to view a low value secondhand bike, but the staff treated me as if I was spending 10K on a brand new bike! Nothing was too much trouble and they were always accommodating. The bike I'd traveled to see was better than described so purchase was the logical step. They organised everything for me to ride the bike away. It's a shame I live so far from Shorocks as I feel this would become one of my regular haunts. Whilst I don't frequent a lot of motorbike shops I've visited enough recently to know their attitude usually changes when they realise you don't want to spend alot and you're not looking for finance... this didn't happen at Shorrocks. We have had our Suzuki V-Strom serviced and maintaind by the team at Shorrocks for several years and have always received great service. To a man, all the staff treat you with respect and do their utmost to fulfill your requirements. Unfortunately the V-Strom failed the MOT recently and needed around £300 worth of work to get it back on the road. We were about to go on holiday so my husband asked them to get on with it while we were away and arranged to collect it on our return. However when we got home there was an e-mail from Chris with the bad news that on starting the repairs the lads had discovered further problems and he predicted a bill in excess of £600. We subsequently went in to talk to Chris and his team and decided that it was time to upgrade. The only bike they had of a similar size had been sold. However Chris knew of someone who regularly changed his bike and had a 1200 Honda Cross Tourer that he was looking to sell. Chris promised to contact the guy and arrange to get the bike in for us to see that weekend, if it was still available. We had a test ride and returned to get down to business and agreed a very good deal both on the Honda and the trade-in on the V-Strom. Chris, Pete and the whole team are very helpful, courteous and enthusiastic.I would encourage anyone to go to Shorrocks for all their motocycle needs. A family business with customer satisfaction at it's heart.

I live around 110mls away from Shorrocks. I saw the bike via eBay and called on the Monday and spoke with Peter and told him I wanted it and the earliest I could be there was Saturday. I wasn't allowed to give a deposit to secure the bike and this was frustrating for me as I was sure I wanted it as long as it matched the advert. However I also appreciate from the sales perspective that any old Joe can say heres a deposit and not turn up and waste their time. I called again on Wednesday to reinforce how much I was interested in the bike and that I had arranged the money, van & insurance to come get it Saturday. I called again on Friday as arranged with Peter and he told me he had others interested but if I was certain then he would now take a deposit and hold it for me. I went to get it Saturday and it was as described and pictured in the advert. I was allowed to test ride it too before paying for it and everything I asked was answered. I asked if a full HPI had been carried out and was told yes but I wanted proof and a copy of it too. This was no trouble at all and I was given a print out. I was able to use their internet to tax/insure it and even offered a discount on anything else I may of wanted to buy in the shop seeing as I was spending a large amount. The lads in the workshop were friendly and helpful and had the time to make me feel comfortable with my new bike & went through it all with me. They helped get it in the van too. When I road tested it I didn't no the area at all and Peter told me where to go which turned out to be very easy and a good little stretch for road testing. However he did offer to have someone go with me if I thought I was going to get lost. I had never even heard of Shorrocks before this purchase but I wouldn't hesitate to look for another bike via them and to use them. The place was organised, clean and that includes the workshop. Lots of gear & accessories upstairs too. Its a tardis. I suppose the only negative I might have picked up on is I visited on Saturday in mid July and Peter was the only one in the showroom. There were a few customers about and he had to deal with them, me, the sales and calls all by himself. If theres something your genuinely interested in then be patient and wait as they are a worthwhile business to deal with. A quick internet search gave me a list of the used motorcycle dealers in the area. Shorrocks is a little gem, it only has a small frontage, but has plenty of quality used bikes on offer. If you are local, it's worth calling in as they have quite a fast turnover, and some bikes come in and go out without making it onto the website. I settled on a 2014 bonneville, it was just outside my budget, but they made me a good deal, I left a deposit and came back in to pay the balance. The bike went into the workshop to be prepped, despite not really needing anything. Upstairs sells clothing and accessories. I needed a new helmet, and found one that had been reduced in the sale, but they gave me a further reduction without being asked, and if I wanted anything they didn't have in stock, they would try and source it for me. When I called in to pick it up, they fueled it up for me while I got changed, then off I went. Shorrocks aren't the sort of place that take your money and then that's it, you are a customer for life, and they will endeavour to look after you.

Last week, I traded in my X7 for a Burgman. What a brilliant experience.The Burgman was the best price you'd find anywhere, and the trade in offer was pretty damn good too. It's hard to explain, and it's down to more than just the price difference, but the whole experience left me feeling valued as a customer. Hi I bought a Honda varadero 125cc with a hole in the piston and took it to shorrocks they advised me to find another engine instead of a rebuild as this took time they waited patiently for the new engine to arrive. I phoned them every week to get a update and they phoned when there was a problem and they checked it over completely before handing my bike to ensure in was in full working order. I am pleased with the work and time the team put in and once again thank u chris I would recommend shorrocks any day.

I went here for a spark plug for my lawnmower recently and had to wait in a queue, the guy in front of me spent over £300 on two Michelin tyres and also received a £35 fuel voucher from Michelin and then it was my turn. As a youngster I lived in Penwortham and used to go here every weekend and look round with not a penny in my pocket and still back then was treated as a customer. Shorrocks has now expanded and still 20 years on has the same staff What I'm trying to say is, they told me a local lawnmower specialist where I could buy said spark plug from and treated me exactly the same as a retail customer. As a youngster I remember the two brothers who own the place and do you know what the owner of the place took time to tell me where to buy my spark plug for my lawnmower from. He didn't make a penny from this transaction and spent so much time helping me. He has ginger hair and glasses, this is one of my best customer experiences I've ever had and do you know what it didn't cost me a penny!!!!.
