These people gave me an exceptional service at a very reasonable price. I hadn't moved house for 30 years and was pondering if I could do it myself. 2 and a half large lorries later we were on the road with Matthews and Son. I was rather bemused by my hopeless miscalculation. It was 3 days of loading. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided boxes, blankets to protect paintings movable wardrobes for the clothes. Not only that, but they were very nice people. Mature men doing the work with care. No hesitation in recommending them.

This company is second to none! I had made a mistake and packed my TV's forgetting they were being fitted before my moving in date. Anybody reading this will recognise a rookie error!!! Jonathan has taken it upon himself to locate the TV's before the business opened this morning to make a customer happy! I work in the service industry and wondered how many people I knew that would do the same thing? We moved house from Cardiff to Pembrokeshire in 2019. After a few quotes from various removal companies Matthews & Son were by far the best in terms of professionalism & knowing their game. On first meeting Jonathan knew exactly how to approach our slightly complicated move out West. We had a good feeling about him & felt confident that he'd get the job done smoothly. The moving process could have not gone better - bang on time arriving at both properties, professional, courteous & a good sense of humour - required when moving house! The team worked so hard and went above & beyond for us. The quote they gave was good value, and we got the best service that we could have wished for. We would highly recommend this company, they have the knowledge, a great attitude and the correct trucks/equipment & know-how to get the job done.

Where do I start!!! These guys are fantastic!!!! If you ever decide to move home, Paul Matthews & Son are the guys to use!!! They offer a free no obligation quote, Their prices are great!!! They helped us move home yesterday. They stored our items over night and delivered them today. They were professional, polite and nothing was a problem for them. We had some bulky and fragile items. Everything was handled with great care!! I can’t recommend these guys enough!! And also a massive thank you to Joanne who runs the booking side of things. She was great!! 5 Stars isn’t enough for these guys!!! I’d give them 10!!! Thank you for making a stressful process a little easier!!!

Can't recommend these guys highly enough. Had another company lined up to do my move, who then went to ground when I finally got my completion date, not answering e.mails etc. Decided to make the switch to Matthews and Sons - so glad I did. Jonathan came out the same afternoon to quote me - friendly, helpful and reassuring, just what you need at a fairly stressful time! Felt completely comfortable handing over a set of keys, and the move was handedly seamlessly - Martin did a wonderful job of packing up the first day, then he and Jonathan moved the larger furniture out the second day - clearing the house half an hour before the time that had been estimated. Such a relief to deal with such professionals, and Joanne in the office is also super efficient, getting back promptly with any queries. You can't go wrong using this company in my view.

What a fantastic company and a credit to the industry. We found ourselves let down by (FC Brooke’s from Caerphilly) on the morning of our move. Luckily for us Joanne was on the end of the phone and in 20 minutes had arranged to send us an 18 ton lorry with a (fab) driver to make sure our move actually happened that day. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful company. This company are the best out there don’t look elsewhere. Ten out of ten all round.

Veni Vidi Vici - Mathews Removals came, saw and conquered !!! At short notice Jonathan and his superb team moved us quickly, seamlessly and efficiently into storage. Claire and her excellent team then (with a bit of help from Jonathan) cleaned the property (a very large 4 bed-roomed house) equally professionally and efficiently in 3 hours flat. Jonathan subsequently organised, fetched and relocated extra items into additional container storage for us. To top it all he then interrupted a party he was throwing to personally hand-deliver the keys. Personal service doesn't get any better than that. We can't praise Jonathan, Claire and their super teams highly enough. Simply the best we've ever had the pleasure to deal with in 25 moves in over 36 years all over the UK.
