We used Macro Removals for our recent move - and it was the least stressful thing about the entire process! They were really responsive in answering all our questions so we knew how to prepare and the team on the day itself were brilliant - with a cheery attitude and amazing Tetris skills! Due to availability we ended up splitting the loading over 2 days (loading 1 van the day before completion), which worked really well as it definitely helped give us space in the flat for the final move prep. Recommended!!

We recently used Macro Removals for our home move and we were massively impressed by the service we received. I was super stressed (as most people moving home are!) but Macro made it so easy. Firstly they gave us a VERY competitive quote, Fred was thorough with seeing what needed to be moved via video call and made us feel reassured that he understood the task. On the day the team arrived early in the morning, the guys were friendly and enthusiastic - even stopping to chat with my young children, who were keen to know their toys were being transported!! They took care with our items and our old house - using plenty of mats on the floors and carpets (especially appreciated as it was a damp day). At the new house they were helpful and kind - even moving a few boxes around several times whilst I was being indecisive about where I wanted them! I would absolutely use Macro Removals again if needed and recommend them to others!

Can't recommend Fred and his team enough. Fred did an excellent assessment of my removal needs via a WhatsApp video call and was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. On the day, Paddy and Nick arrived on time, made quick work of packing the truck with care, and were so friendly they really put me at ease on an otherwise stressful day. They delivered my possessions to a storage unit and packed everything away neatly. I would book them again for any future moves.

The team that came were quite exceptional, hard-working, precise, good humoured and all equipped with a good sense of humour. The latter was needed with the constant changes to the plan. From the initial contact, the video survey and to the packing itself all was done to the most professional of standards. A 5-star performance!

They were excellent. Excellent communication throughout, good value, turned up on time and did a good job. Really professional on the day and obviously took pride in their work. The movers themselves were really nice and I felt comfortable having them in the house unloading while I was looking after my baby daughter. They worked really hard and got loads done during the time we had them for. Asked me where I wanted everything, but also used their common sense and made suggestions when I was overwhelmed or preoccupied. Also did a great job of re-assembling 3 ikea wardrobes that had been taken apart by someone else (I would have had no idea where to start!!), including making a replacement piece when I realised I had lost one. Will definitely be in touch for our next move.

Fred was great at sorting the best way and cost for me to have things packed and sorted so some went to storage and other items to the house. Paddy and Hugo spent all day packing and labelling boxes for me. Labelling was clear so I knew what was in each box (even down to my own wording of the “kitchen cupboard from hell”). The following day Paddy and Nick loaded things into the van and took them to their designated destinations. A positive and stress free experience made even better by a group of genuinely nice people!

Absolutely amazing experience with Macro Removals from start to finish. Fred was so helpful and always quick to respond to any queries by email or whatsapp and really gave me the impression from our video call that our possessions would be well looked after and cared for. Paddy was really helpful when I collected packing materials too. Leading up to the actual move, Fred called me the day before to confirm timings and on the day itself Paddy and Adam arrived right on time, were extremely careful and respectful of our possessions and were also just lovely guys to be around and spend the day with. Fantastic service from start to finish. We moved from a 3 storey, 3 bed house to a 2 storey, 3 bed house. An initial survey with Fred was conducted on WhatsApp due to Covid restrictions after which he swiftly emailed a quote. The quote was very competitive. The removal guys were super, great at moving furniture of course but also accommodating and courteous. They had a good sense of how to pack and had a plan which really helped us. Fred completed a thorough check on the contents of our place via FaceTime, and arranged for boxes and bubble wrap etc to be dropped to us. What could have been a very stressful day, turned out to be really enjoyable with the assistance of these two complete gentlemen. Cannot praise them highly enough. From quick response and ongoing communications from Fred that were helpful, clear and offered a competitive quote and breakdown of service, which was possible on my earliest preferred date, through the guys who did the move - Paddy and Nick - arriving on time, being pleasant, helpful, professional, quick and careful throughout, including moving a couple of bits of awkward, heavy kit down stairs, I was very happy with the service.
