Derby Movers helped us to move my father and mother in law to Manchester. They are both in their eighties and have health needs and understandably after half a century in the same house moving was an emotional challenge. The guys were very understanding and respectful of my in-laws needs. We did a fair bit of chopping and changing our minds at both ends of the job and they put up with us without comment. Top marks for customer care. Very thorough and thoughtful. Happy to recommend the firm to family and friends.

Very professional very reponsive very helpful friendly 👍 staff . Booked day before arrived on time the lads were fantastic very careful nothing too much trouble all packed up by midday then bit wait for keys to new property but they were great staff could not be more pleased with the overall experience especially always being stressful moving house . .From 1st call to the boss to telling me 2nd van if needed dont worry to sending a extra pair hands to unload after a long wait .Totally reccommend these people 1st class from top to bottom .Wont be going anywhere but this company in future for any moving stuff and will highly recommend them to anyone .Fantastic prices as well .Like the deposit upfront much better than all upfront then 100 per hour after 4pm as i was quoted from another firm.Straight away i knew i could trust them .Keep up the good work .

Great service, turned up promptly and with many hands to load our belongings. Incredibly efficient and had everything packed damage free in just a few hours. It then took a good few hours to get the keys and they waited patiently, way past the expected time to then unload at the other end, taking care to put everything in the right place. Derby Movers and Storers moved the contents of a four bedroom home from Derby to Lichfield. Their price was excellent compared to other companies so I was a little unsure of what to expect but I needn't have worried. Alan came to view before confirming the price and described the service to me, so that I was reassured. We had problems with completion dates falling through and changing, but the company didn't charge for changes, remained friendly, understanding and helpful throughout. They arrived early on the move date in case they needed to make a second trip later in the day. There was no extra charge for extra time. Alan managed his team of four men and the packing of the vans with great skill. Every member of the team was friendly, courteous and handled our possessions with care. TVs were placed in protective bags and, whilst furniture was not wrapped, there were no breakages or damage. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this team.

This company were very patient with our preparations prior to booking the actual move. The price was very good and they held to the quote even though it was several weeks of storage before making the final drop and fuel prices rose sharply in this time. Could not praise this service enough. They arrived at 8am bang on time. They were friendly and professional, efficient and work to a very high standard . They are extremely careful with your belongings and nothing is too much trouble for them. They use protective covers for all your items, put all furniture in all the right rooms. They go above and beyond and I would highly recommend these guys. And a reasonable price too. Cannot fault them. The boss called me a couple of times during the move to check everything was OK. We recently booked Derby Movers and Storers to help us move house. From the offset, the guys filled me with confidence that they could do the job well. Someone came out initially for quote purposes and reassured me of the extra protection used for TVs, large furniture pieces and pictures etc. Once we got a moving date we easily secured the team and everything from expected time of arrival to double checking the key large items to ensure the correct sized van would be sent was well communicated. On the day, the guys arrived promptly (at 8:30am) and worked non-stop to load the van, drive to the new place and unload boxes and furniture wherever we wanted. I think the whole process took only 5 hours (we only moved a 5 minute drive up the road). For a stress-free moving day, I highly recommend booking a removal company and I would certainly feel happy using Derby Movers and Storers again for their professionalism, competitive price and open communication.

Really great team who helped us move from Belper to Leeds. The guys were on time, were very efficient and easily moved our bulky furniture out of a narrow Victorian terrace - which included a superking size divan bed which was removed via the front bedroom window as it could not come down the stairs. They made our move a lot less stressful and we would definitely recommend.
