Fantastic company: first rate service from start to finish. The gentleman who arrived to give us a quotation was super helpful and the quote was with us within 24 hours. People were always on hand to answer my questions and the communication before the moving day was excellent. The team who helped with the move, were punctual, friendly and very helpful - even assisting us moving some of the landlord's furniture back into place. Our experience with Doree Bonner was excellent. In December 2018/January 2019 the company moved us from Edinburgh to Barcelona. The consultation process with Colin Chalmers at the beginning was very thorough. The packing and removal service was efficient and very professional. Moving during the Christmas break did mean we had to wait a little longer to receive our items in Barcelona, which caused a little anxiety. But the branch Manager Steven McGregor kept us informed at every stage. The delivery itself was carried out by Doree Bonner's partners, Mathew James. The team did an excellent job bringing our items and large pieces of furniture up three tight flights of stairs to our top floor flat, without complaint or hesitation. Everything arrived in excellent condition and you could see care had been taken throughout the process. We highly recommend Doree Bonner for international moves.

We had to change from a straightforward house move to storage quite late in the day and then had a number of delays before finally moving into our new home. Doree Bonner were very supportive throughout and did their utmost to accommodate our moving target!
On the uplift day the team expertly packed the storage crates and on re-delivery were very efficient at unloading and putting things back together.

Doree Bonner weren't the cheapest quote we received, nor were they the most expensive, but they impressed me with their professionalism from the start.
The move itself couldn't have gone more smoothly. The crew that came round from Doree Bonner to pack the day before were very professional, polite, and couldn't do enough to help. Moving day itself was hassle free and ran smoothly. Everyone knew what they had to do and everything was done on time and packed away safely.
Unloading at the other end was swift and efficient, all boxes and furniture going in the correct rooms.
Out of all the costs involved in moving house, the money I spent on getting Doree Bonner to pack and move was the best value for money out of the lot.
Couldn't recommend Doree Bonner highly enough. Would definitely use them again, although not planning on moving again for a while!

The experience from booking to actual transportation services was excellent. All the requirements were clearly discussed over phone and I was provided with the quote for house movement with Various options which were clearly explained. Alex (sales team) did excellent job to answer my numerous calls and helping me out to plan this transition.

From my first enquiry to the actual move I found extremely professional and helpful. I emailed my requirement to Claire who suggested she met to assess what was needed for the move. She then gave me advice on what to prepare for the office move. On move day the lorry arrived promptly and had everything loaded without any problem. The office I was moving to was in the top floor with not good parking. this wasn't a hassle for the staff and in no time my move was done, they put all the shelves and drawers together again and I was left very happy. I would definitely recommend Doree Bonner in the future.

Doree Bonner's regional manager never attempted to impress us during their first visit unlike most of their competitors who incidentally gave us substantially higher quotes.
The regional manager has been very good at planning our move in advance so that even though the big day was indeed a busy day it went on smoothly. And the same can be said about the reception of our possessions in our new home. Not a single item broken or damaged.

We used Doree Bonner in mid-2017 to help us move from London to Edinburgh. The experience was fantastic. We used the packing service and it was worth every penny - our items were delivered in the exact same condition they were packed in and all boxes and wrapping were provided.
The team of removers worked directly for Doree Bonner and were experienced, friendly, polite and incredibly helpful - checking on what we wanted done with particular items as they packed - and keeping both our old and new homes in pristine condition while they loaded and unloaded the lorry. Meanwhile the office team kept us updated on our removal and scheduled delivery, bearing with us through the delays and uncertainty that inevitably come with moving house.
In summary, I'd totally recommend Doree Bonner's services to anyone moving house. We hadn't used a removal firm before, but having a firm I knew I could trust like Doree Bonner made our move so much easier than some of the other options I looked at.

This was a small move over 300mi within the UK with tight budget and tight schedule. Simon (from central operation) was very helpful and responsive from the first contact. He also looped in Steven from the destination branch to ensure a smooth transition. Once we decided to go ahead, clear paper work was passed onto us, specifying all the terms and conditions clearly. It also helps that the company is fully insured and is a member of many professional organisations (important if you look up how to find reputable movers).
On move day we weren't fully prepared but the 2-persons team was very helpful and friendly. The same team delivered a few days later with the same professional and speedy service.
I'm very satisfied overall. Cost wise Doreebonner is also very competitive, since we've asked for quotes from several other companies, and non were able to give us the combination of affordable fee and convenient removal and delivery dates. I will definitely use DoreeBonner again.

Been dealing with Claire and Steve in the office in Edinburgh, they've helped us through the paperwork and the many questions we've had prior to our move to the USA.
Davie showed up around 830am as agreed and asked for a quick rundown of what was going with us, then proceeded to bring in piles of boxes, tape and packaging material. He got straight down to work and pretty much left Mum to do her thing other than asking if he might be allowed to use the bathroom..!! How polite..!!
Wayne and another lad showed up a couple hours later to help pack everything....what a great trio of lads, the banter was going and we thoroughly enjoyed having them in the house. They finished what we thought was a big job in a relatively short time and treated all Mums stuff with respect and like it was their own.
Once done they all came and shook our hands and wished Mum good luck in the move.
Such nice, caring people. These are representatives and the face of Doree Bonner, you should be proud of them. Such a nice experience.

Hi,
the team were great, they even helped push my car which had a flat battery !
We had a lot of stuff and they had to get help from another team to unload because of running late. Piano , 3 sofas & 3 double beds, 2 dining tables & sets of chairs, 5 large chest of drawers, a bureau & wall bookcases. 90 large boxes worth of stuff ( from 2 large sheds as well )
They were all finished by about 6.30 & they got a big tip as I felt they had worked on after there finish time & it would pay for a fish supper & a few beers. They didn't complain at all about it being late.
One bad thing.
Got no follow up call to take away the cardboard boxes within 10 days, which we had paid for.
Had to take them to the dump ourselves and there was about 90 boxes folded flat. If I'd hassled them......... they may have come out & collected them ? Was just expecting them to follow up within the 10 days. That's why not the full 5 stars.

Flawless delivery.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the admin team and the removal men, from start to finish I had every confidence in the delivery process and new what was happening and when.
We had furniture picked up from a storage unit, held by them in there storage until we had the keys to our new home (6 hours away) and then they delivered our items within the allocated time slot!
We stupidly had our white carpets cleaned the day before and there was not a single mark on them! They also built our furniture (thank you) and managed to get the largest pieces through our narrow door (which involved removing it and replaicng it).
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Cannot recommend highly enough! They totally took the stress out of moving to Australia. From the initial home consultation from Claire at the Edinburgh branch.I knew that I had made the right decision. I went with the full packing service and the groupage option as I didn't have enough to fill a full container. I was explained every step of the process in detail, and if at any time I was unsure, I was made aware that they were always at the end of the phone or email and that no question or query was too small or stupid!! The day of the move went very smoothly. The guys telephoned the night before with their arrival time the following day, so I was well prepared and everything was completed in under an hour. I also have to comment on the price - I had originally considered moving my belongings myself, however overall this service actually worked out cheaper, and with less stress into the bargain. What's not to love!!

Really good company although we've had a couple of hiccups along the way which included some damage to an oak TV cabinet, an Ikea chest of drawers and our bed not being properly assembled.
We also had to chase for both deliveries to come on the same day as the team seemed to think it was being done over two days.
The guys who did the pack and delivery we're all really nice, its just with the damage to multiple items and issues with day of delivery I can only give them 3 stars.

A professional service, with professional workers. I exspected stress and lots of time to be consumed with moving my house. But that was not the case, both the removers turned up bang on time. Both of them were punctual and polite, and within no time at all the house was packed away in a very well presented truck. Moving in day both the movers beat us to my new house and were ready to go before I had even opened the door. With everything unpacked and put in place both the movers asked if there was anything else they could do, as if moving my whole house wasn’t enough. To be honest I’d never heard of this company and found them on Google I think. They were well reviewed and gave the cheapest quote out of 3 so we went with them. We left it a little late to book in a remover and I suspect we might have got a better price elsewhere if we’d been more organised, but I don’t regret any of the cost (which was still fair) because the quality of service was so good. Mike and the team were cheerful and accommodating and just got the job done. They packed as well and did so very carefully, labelling boxes clearly which saved lots of time at the unpacking stage. Only minor detail was that the smaller lorries they had to use due to the access at our new house didn’t seem to come equipped with even the most basic tools so I had to do all of the bed dismantling (which to be honest I wanted to do anyway). Overall very pleased, saved us a lot of stress.

In March 2017 my father died. As his executor it was my duty to discharge his estate, a time-consuming affair as anyone who has done it knows. His house had to be sold and the majority of its contents disposed of.
My wife put me in touch with Claire who was most helpful and we discussed what would be required and what the cost would be.
The sale was due to finalise in the middle of the summer, a busy time for a removal company, and we had to find a slot as close as possible to the sale date, but not too far in advance - Claire kept in touch and advised me throughout about the available dates.
As it turned out there was only 48 hours between the clearance of the house and the new owners taking possession, a fact that made me a little nervous - what if the job wasn’t done fully and properly? Although I worried, I needn’t have.
The team from Doree Bonner turned up on time and from that point the place was a whirlwind. I was reminded of what it was like to be young and to be able to carry ludicrous amounts of stuff without throwing your back out!
Clearing the house took the better part of the day, but cleared it was. I followed the guys, cleaning as they cleared, and by the time they left not only was the job done exactly as I required it to be, but the house was as clean as it could be, a task I had expected to have to do the following day.
My thanks therefore to Claire and her team and my fulsome recommendation to anyone who is in need of a truly professional removal service. It wasn’t an easy time for me but the attention and effort put in by Claire and her colleagues lifted some of that pressure and gave me the time I needed to ensure the smooth completion of the sale.

Removals teams at either end did a great job, nothing was too much trouble despite the weather!
