Alness Removals & Storage completed a house move for me yesterday, from the Central Belt to the Highlands. The experience was fantastic and as stress free as any house move could be. We received a fair estimate for the move, the assumptions made for volume and clear payment terms for securing the move slot. The supporting materials were clear on the insurance arrangements and terms of business. Rod phoned a day ahead of the move to explain the process. On arrival he walked me around the house for detailed instructions ahead of packing everything up for us. Great care was taken with all of our belongings, both valuable and non valuable. Rod and Damien were cheerful, friendly and professional throughout. They arrived promptly both for pick up and drop off. Rod and Damien seem to take everything in their stride and make it an easy process. In our case this included having more stuff than the original estimate. I have another move to do in twelve months so will be using Alness Removals & Storage again then. In the meantime, they are looking after some of our valuables in their store. I recommend Alness Removals & Storage to anyone contemplating a move to, from or within the Highlands. PS Take care to avoid other businesses hijacking Google’s listings with something similar to the Alness Removals name to secure your custom.

Rod and his team are very professional , helpful and go above and beyond to make sure, what can be a really stressful time, much less so. Excellent value too.

I have used Alness twice for a complicated move from Sussex to Sutherland. Rod and his team came recommended to me and it was a well earned recommendation.
