Excellent removal firm managed by Peter. Date of moving had to be changed a few times but this was no problem. Very accommodating. On removal day the team arrived - Sonny, Rowan and Benny and were professional, helpful and pleasant. No hitches and move went smoothly. Highly recommended and great value. John

Echo what other reviews say. I was referred by a friend who had used them. Fantastic communication by Peter for quote and prior to move day (which was changed a few times without issue). On an incredibly busy day for the company locally the team of 4 were friendly, professional, communicative and super helpful. The van was packed up from 2nd floor flat in 1.5hrs and unpacked in under 1hr. Communication with team (lead by Martin) was also excellent and took extra care of furniture I didn’t think would survive the move (it did!). In addition, they went above and beyond and helped put my bed back together. Great price too. Could not recommend this company more. If ever move again, would definitely use them without hesitation. We were having the hardest time finding a decent, honest removalist to help us move from London to Glasgow. We were referred to The Home Removals company by a friend in Glasgow who had used this company before. They were great from the first contact. I felt like Peter was sympathetic to us trying to move on a budget, and was really helpful in explaining what they could provide within that - which was a huge relief given the insane variance in quotes we had received prior which were completely unviable. Some seemed too cheap to be real, and others were just about double (or more) than we were budgeting. Even though we ended up paying a bit more than we had been budgeting, I think the price we paid with The Home Removals Company was completely reasonable. They did a brilliant job, and if we could we would happily have paid more. On the day Martin and Iain arrived on time, and were in contact when there was the slightest delay. We were really impressed with them - somehow the managed to get a truck most the way down our skinny driveway, juggled moving up and down 3 flights of stairs (at both ends), and had everything packed up in about an hour and a half! The next day, they met us at our new property and already had most things piled up beside the door ready to go. They moved us in, and that was that! They were really friendly and considerate. We would definitely use this company again. We are really grateful for how easy they made what was a very stressful move. Thanks guys! Krystle and Joe.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Peter and his team were amazing from point of contact to get a quote, all the way to delivering the last box in our new home. We were moving from across the country and the whole team put us at ease. The communication from Peter was top rate. On the day of the move Peter and his colleague quickly cleared out our flat. I contacted Peter on a recommendation of a friend who had done two removals with him and said they were an excellent company to deal with. He came to my house and gave me an exact price there and then that he stuck to. On the day of the removal 2 vans and 3 guys turned up on time and ready to work. The guys were superb - very courteous and polite and got the job done quickly and efficiently without pressuring me (I wasn't completely finished packing!) They are a superb company and I will be recommending them to my friends and will definitely be using them again!

Recently used the Home Removals Company to move house and they were excellent from start to finish. A really quick response when I asked for a quote, and the cheapest too - some other local companies wanted to charge twice as much or had hidden extra costs. On the day, the guys worked so hard to get us packed and moved - everything was in perfect condition when we unpacked. And when we were delayed getting the keys they couldn't have been more accommodating, getting us in without a grumble after a very long day. We hope we won't be moving again any time soon but if we did, we wouldn't look anywhere else. Will also be recommending them to everyone we know.

What a great company. Our move happened during a minor heat-wave a pandemic and a pingdemic and yet The Home Removals Company did everything to take all the stress out of our move. They also gave by far the best price out of all the quotes we received. I wouldn't look anywhere else if I were you.

I have used this company over the years, starting in 2009. They have moved my belongings to and from London and deliberately tried to keep the cost down by advising timings on shared van space so I wasn't paying for a full dedicated van and team. They also did a short move from North Glasgow to the West End for me. The online quote seemed a bit high and I called Peter and he remembered me. Based on the prior move, the cost was reduced. I wanted to use the same company because of the level of service they provided. Quick, efficient, professional moving team with full cover in transit. Highly recommended. Just giving feedback here as about to recommend again!

Could not recommend highly enough. We used this company for both packing and moving and I am so surprised at how reasonable the price was for a hell of a lot of work. The packing was done with care and the removals process was quick and painless. When our seller didn’t vacate our home on the day of handover there was no fuss- stuff was stored overnight for a tiny fee. The guys even came back a few days later to rebuild some furniture for us. A lovely cheery bunch of guys I felt totally relaxed around. Thanks!

Peter and his team were great. Our booked moving date was postponed several times due to hold-ups in our chain, then our lift completely broke down for the actual move (from the 5th floor). Peter and his team cracked on with good humour and no fuss. Would use again, highly recommended.

A fantastic service that made moving from my second floor one bedroom flat very easy indeed. They were punctual, quickly scoped round the flat, dissambled the bed and wardrobe, disconnected the fridge loaded them up and put everything in the new house where I wanted it. Absolutely wonderful. Really great friendly and efficient service. So they arrived the day before the intended time to scope and get ahead of the game. This regrettably didn’t work out owing to a mishap with the van. However, they got the job fully scopes ready for the planned start. They were so apologetic, yet they achieved a lot anyway, so the next day went smoothly. The following day, the vans arrived. They were courteous and professional, happily moving vans to allow access if required by the neighbours. It was all done in a few hours and they packed even the bits I had forgotten. I didn’t lift a finger. We had self packed, but the packing service would have been very reasonable. The unload day was equally pain free. They even re-moved some stuff that I had picked the wrong room (I didn’t have wife supervision). I was really impressed with how amazing a job they did, for a price that was significantly cheaper than anyone else All in all, the best value, best service, combined with most efficient service I could have hoped for, which made my move as pain free as possible. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone without hesitation. 5 stars. As an aside Peter (the boss) is really friendly and helpful before and during the move. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I’ll definitely be using them again. 512 miles moved could have been difficult, yet it really wasn’t.

I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this company. Peter and the guys are amazing. We have used them 3 times now and each time they smash it out the park. The last two times were into and out of a short term 3rd floor 2 bed flat, got the full lot out in 90 mins and into the new house in 30mins. This was, rather surprisingly, a wonderful experience. I needed an entire house and workshop moved from Glasgow to Birmingham. I had a couple of quotes from other companies who seemed rather casual and also very expensive because the stuff was coming from two locations. I called The Home Removals Company and Peter, the company owner, came round almost immediately, gave me a modest quote and discussed how the move would be done. On the day, three guys in two vans turned up and loaded up; next morning, two guys in one van with all the boxes and equipment turned up in Birmingham bang on time and unloaded carefully and cheerfully with absolutely no problem about moving anything and putting it where I asked. I genuinely couldn't have asked for better service and can't thank these people enough for making this so easy.
