It was such a refreshing change to deal with such lovely , friendly staff from a bug company . I had no idea if the size unit I needed and was more than impressed with Maria who handed my first call . She was efficient, helpful and so friendly . Excellent from start to finish. The staff at Gloucester are attentive and knowledgeable. They communicated effectively throughout- from the reservation of a space to booking and right up to the delivery of my goods from a shipping container. I was not able to be present on the delivery date but I was kept fully informed by the staff at Gloucester and could immediately deal with an issue that arose on the side of the shipping agent. I'm delighted with the service I received.

I needed a place to store my stuff for a few months, so I went to look round a few storage places in Gloucester; most places weren’t very helpful, but Mo at Big Yellow Self Storage Gloucester was so helpful and so friendly and gave me a big space with the best offer in Gloucester. Last week, I moved into a bigger house, so no longer needed the storage space, so Mo helped me again to cancel my contract (in the middle of it) and also gave me a refund. If I ever need help again then I will definitely go and see Mo. This is a real 5star place.

It's a good place to store you goods. Very clean and safe place , makes me feel confident to leave my goods in there . For this I can recommend them. On the other side I'm taking 2 stars for the way things are handled there.They apparently so professional but then They tricked me with a aparent " price matching " quote and a massively discounted offer " only for me " to chose them over others. They so good at convincing you that you got the deal of your life and you saving so much with them. But the truth is they took a few weeks from the 26 weeks I was looking to pay in advance so price would match with others like UK self storage. At that time I didn't realised what they did so I was happy with the price,,paid and that was that. 6 months later I received a invoice for my next 6 months way bigger than expected and discussed initially for less than 26 weeks. My price was reviewed and increased just like that .Then I realised how 26 weeks paid previous wasn't 26 but less so I felt so mislead and cheated as I paid convinced I'm paying those money for 6 months . After all I been told it was a system error so the system tricked me to get a unit from them. P.s. their insurance is a rip off and If you new to it like me and have no clue that you can have way cheaper insurance , they so police, lovely and professional will not tell you but make you buy the mandatory one , theirs 😒

Gareth was very professional and informative on my initial enquiry. Because of this I decided to book with this company. Refreshing to have someone efficient and knowledgeable. I took a star off as when I was checking in I was made to feel uncomfortable with my own choice of padlock. This was not Gareth but a colleague of his who said they have to sometimes break open units because people fall behind with payments. I paid 8 weeks in advance so pretty sure that won't be an issue plus nowhere on their website says you need specific make of lock! I got the impression he really wanted me to buy one of theirs! Anyhow overall very good customer service from Gareth, shame I can't say that about everyone.

Disclaimer: I ended up not using the storage due to last minute changes but I feel it would be really unfair if I didn't mention about the exemplary service that I received from the manager and staff member Mo throughout the whole process. I was recommended by a friend to this company. I cannot praise them highly enough for their friendliness, helpfulness, and professionalism. I could not locate an item that I had put into store and Marie looked through all CCTV footage and I had found the item had not been put in their store and was eventually found at my original removal company. We have received practical support from Big Yellow Storage. Our unit at the Gloucester site is central to the county and, therefore, gives us easy access to equipment and materials that we don't need on a daily basis but do need to deliver our services and run our fundraising and marketing. it enables us to make the most of the space at our head office in Twigworth. Our high value goods are in safe hands and out of hours safe access is key to being able to restock the shop. Big Yellow has been huge support to us here in Gloucester. The social ethos of the business is reflected in the local management team whose customer service is second to none. Utterly brilliant service, we had some slightly unhelpful removal men and ended up having to swap storage rooms, the wonderful people at Big yellow storage couldn't have been more helpful and went out of their way to make everything as good and smooth as possible for us, even helping to move some of our things from one room to another. Have used Big Yellow for packing materials on two occasions in order to prepare for family moves. You get not only the boxes (which are pretty durable and still in use) but all the ancillary stuff like tape, etc, all at an affordable rate. And the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, too. Why go scrabbling around supermarkets for old boxes when you can get the whole lot together at Big Yellow.
