l. b.Moving has to be one of the most stressful things you can do! Yes it definitely is…. However the most relaxed I was throughout the entire ordeal was when I decided to use this AUSSIE Man And Van company ! Simply put; they are the BEST! And …. The price was right, especially for their outstanding service.
From start to finish… from the first visit for our initial assessment and the wonderful people I spoke to on the phone who arranged everything and sorted out all my questions, to the actual move, all was perfect!
We moved 400 miles away from a three bedroom home packed to the rafters with over 30 years of “stuff”. The team came in and everyone knew exactly what to do and got about it with army like efficiency! It was most impressive and all handled with the care you would hope to be taken with all of your possessions!
But then …. We all arrived for the huge unpacking with box after box unloaded into our new home! The lads were outstanding! Every box was put into the correct room, whatever I needed moved was moved and with no trouble or complaint at all. These men were professional, polite and kind. They helped us with everything, every single step of the way! My husband and I were so impressed and so grateful for all they did for us and the care that was taken! Nothing was broken… everything has now been unpacked and it has all arrived safely!
This is a company to truly trust your life’s possessions with and a team of men who take great pride in their work!

Z. G.I booked Aussie Man and Van for a recent move from London to the Chilterns. Obtaining a quote was easy—I described the volume of contents and took photos of the rooms. I was initially surprised that my quote was higher than some other removals firms, but due to Aussie's great reputation I decided to go with it anyway. I got a larger team and larger van than I expected, and probably larger than the other firms would have given me. Rather than being overkill, it was exactly what we needed.
The crew were top-notch professionals throughout. They were extremely courteous and diligent, and I was impressed by how quickly they worked without compromising on the quality of the job.

I had a really good experience - it was super easy to book on the phone: you just needed to confirm how long you needed storage for and when and where the boxes and furniture needed to be delivered.
Delivery was very professional and timely - they arrived when they said they would, and were really efficient moving things up two narrow flights of stairs; some of our items were slightly bigger, but the removalists moved it up without any damage to the items or walls.
Overall - would definitely recommend. Not cheap, but definitely worth it for the peace of mind.

The booking process was fairly straightforward but the booking of dates was a bit stressful. Dates quickly become unavailable: dates that are discussed in an email/ call, may quickly become unavailable. Otherwise a good experience.

A.Prior to moving day, Aussie Man and Van Ltd came to the house and made a thorough assessment of our requirements. This was particularly important as we had a number of large plants to be move. On moving day the removal guys were friendly and courteous and were careful with boxes, furniture and plants. They were skilled at manouvering these round corners and narrow passages and in one case the sofa was taken effortlessly out through the bay window. On arrival at our new home, the guys worked tirelessly, taking instruction of where items should go. All in all the team had a great work ethic.

A. R.We used Aussie's services for a house move. Very professional service, and worth the money despite not being cheap (in my view - although see below on that).
All logistical details of the move were agreed in advance and recorded in the move plan that was then shared with the crew - so they knew exactly what to do.
We had one packer arrive on day 1 and pack everything in the house using their own packing material (it took him about 6-7 hours). On day 2 a crew of 3 with 2 vans arrived, disassembled all the furniture, moved everything to the new home - where they reassembled the furniture and placed all the boxes in the rooms where they belonged. FYI unpacking service was not included in our package.
Nothing was damaged during the move, and the movers were very professional and pleasant to deal with
Overall a very good experience if you are willing to spend the ££.
In fairness - regarding the cost, you get a packer for 8 hours and three movers for 8 hours each, plus packing materials included, plus transportation - so I worked it out that you pay about £30-40 per hour of labour per person. You could probably get something slightly cheaper elsewhere, but not the professional and coordinated full-service package, and piece of mind.
Overall - I would recommend their services as it makes the move mostly hassle-free.

C. T.This was our third move with Aussie Man and Van since we moved to London 7 years ago and, as always, we were impressed by the professionalism and hard work of our movers. When faced with a bit of traffic meaning they would get there a little after the agreed time of 8am, they called ahead to let me know which was very considerate even though they were only a few minutes late - most people wouldn't have called at all.
We had many boxes and quite a few items of big furniture including a king-sized bed that needed taking apart and re-assembling, and it was all done by about 4pm - super quick considering our new home was an hour's drive from our old one, and our belongings filled two vans.
The movers worked incredibly hard and took great care of all our belongings, asking us exactly where we wanted things in the room, etc. When faced with very narrow stairs at our new home they took one wardrobe apart completely, without complaint, and managed to get it in the right room. All movers were also wearing masks and careful with Covid recommendations and rules as well, which was hugely reassuring.
This is exactly why we've been calling on Aussie Man and Van for each of our moves over the years - we know we can trust in their efficiency and professionalism every time!

Our two guys were very friendly and obliging but never stopped working - their strength and energy was hugely impressive! Our unpacking in the new home was made very much easier and quicker by their clear labelling and positioning of everything which was placed exactly as we requested.

J. W.We found the team dealing with our move from North London to Hove in East Sussex really professional and surprisingly quick. David, who came to pack all our belongings, was friendly, patient (especially considering we’d done nothing to prepare as we have a small baby!), thorough and jovial, even when it became clear he had been armed with too few boxes! The next day he was joined by another two very friendly, professional men and they delivered and reassembled our furniture and belongings in really good time.
My only complaint would be that we also used their new cleaning service, which was not done terrible well. High level surfaces were not done and seemingly the same cloth was used all over the entire flat as there were smears left everywhere which considering the cost, I would not have expected. But no one ever cleans as good as you’d do it yourself I guess!
Over all a pretty good experience. Would absolutely use again if we move.

Have used Aussie on multiple occasions the most recent being for a medium sized office move in London, which was perhaps the least stressful moving experience I've ever had. The crew were attentive, careful and quick, whether it was wrapping and boxing up or getting something bulky out of the building. J. S.Wow - we found out we had only 4 days to complete at the very last minute and I frantically rang around removals companies. Laura immediately held the last available truck for me whilst we got a (competitive) quote together and we gave green light.
The packers arrived next day and cracked on with as much as they could, ready for the move 48hrs later.
On the big day, they were just amazing and got on with a pretty big move with zero fuss, zero complaints (even when they realised they needed more manpower/extra truck) and were also just a lovely bunch to chat to and work with.

The quoting process was clear and simple and a move that could have been very stressful was simple and easy with good natured, energetic and empathic movers. R. P.They moved through the house like a swarm of locusts packing everything in their path. This was an accomplishment made all the more remarkable by the fact that we had failed to 'pre-pack' and so most of our items were out. That they managed to pack up our house without comment on the state that we'd left it in should give you an indication of just how good they were.
I shouldn't exaggerate, it wasn't that awful. But our family of five (three teenagers) had been living in a five bedroomed, one garaged, one giant lofted and one shedded rented accommodation for five years. And we'd made ourselves at home. We'd filled every conceivable space. Not only did they not balk at the prospect of packing us, they got it done. In a day. Five guys pitched up at 0800 on the morning of our move. I showed them around. They were allocated to rooms. And they put everything into boxes. They left by around 4 pm or so. The following morning they turned up, finished off the last few remaining items and then drove to our new place. They moved stuff into rooms, asked us when they were uncertain about the destination of boxes, moved furniture when we asked to. And didn't even complain about the weight of the piano.
Throughout they were engaging, courteous, good humoured, hard working men on a mission. We used them five years ago. And if we need to again, we'll use them once more. Our thanks to Tom at Head Office and the team of lads who made what would otherwise have been a fairly stressful experience a much more manageable and pleasurable one.

Everyone we dealt with were so professional, friendly and helpful (including Terence who surveyed our flat and gave us a comprehensive and transparent quote, and Billy who kindly helped organise the whole move in such a short space of time).
We were particularly impressed with our removals team ( Alexandru.N; Alexandru.C & Khalil O). They turned up prompt on a Sunday morning in such a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic manner. They were extremely hard working, good communicators, efficient and very helpful. Our neighbours have had negative experiences of other removals firm but they positively complemented this team as they did not cause any damage to the walls or door frames, they were courteous of other neighbours wanting to use the lift and were careful to not overload the lift.
The speed at which they packed up; disassembled and reassembled the furniture was astounding. I was particularly amazed that no items got lost or damaged on transit.
Aussie Man and Van really are a 5 star removals firm- I would highly recommend to all!

P.Prior to the move and after an onsite inspection the manager noted all my specific concerns and then included them in the written quote and then amended the quote when I wanted adjustments and updates without changing the price or quibbling e.g. protect the corners of all the furniture with furniguard / all contents to be removed from all furniture / specific instructions for fragile & expensive items.
The packing was done without rushing and the instructions followed comprehensively without prompting. The packer on day one was professional and friendly and was pretty good natured about my continual hovering and prompting. The only thing he was a little bit peeved about initially was my insistence that I write the contents & departing location description on all four sides of each box rather than just on the top tap - which you can't read once the boxes are stacked - ( makes it much easier to find and organize stuff at the other end when faced with stacks of boxes ). The packing of delicate items was excellent.
On day two the moving team were friendly and happy to take reasonable instructions and they knew what they were doing. Some of the furniture required fairly involved dismantling and reassembling which was well done in spite of not being the easiest design. An initial hiccup with the parking suspension did not phase them.
Overall given the favourable price comparison to other operators who were marginally cheaper but I got the distinct impression would have been unreliable / not paying due care and attention, these guys were really professional and I would definitely use them again.

Two main reasons for choosing Aussie: Terance in London was very professional in his approach to quoting for me and was happy to requote once I had refined my plans and also work out how to move some tricky items; Tom in Bath was incredibly helpful in working out whether I needed self-store or professional storage and saved me money and effort by recommending Aussie's storage outside Bath rather than London. The move itself was very well organised and professional. The team worked very hard and made every effort to get outsize items moved safely. Aussie Bath came and collected all the boxes once I'd unpacked - also very helpful.

We also booked removers and got Conrad again together with colleague Nick. They did a stellar job- quick, polite, efficient and professional. They really are an asset to the company - they were brilliant.

Movers were supposed to arrive at 1pm but called and said they'd finished their first job early and would I want them to come earlier which of course I was more than happy to have the job done sooner so they arrived at 12pm on the dot.
They did a brilliant job of getting all of my furniture down from the first floor and back up to my new first floor flat (even with my very small stairwell!) From start to finish it took two men 1 hour and 15 mins, and they were very friendly so I am extremely happy. 10/10 would recommend!

J. T.We had a great experience with Aussie Man and Van! We were moving from a flat to a house. We'd already packed everything in boxes, but we needed help with the heavy furniture mostly. The two men arrived a bit later than expected because of traffic but they'd already texted us an hour before to inform us. They managed to move all the 20 large boxes and the furniture in the van in about 1h30. They also saved us out with our bed because we'd already packed the Allan keys, so they used an electric drill to dismantle (and reassemble) the bed. It would have been tricky without them! All was done in less than 4 hours (including a 1 hour drive between places) in very professional fashion. The two guys were really helpful, quick, and friendly. Would definitely recommend Aussie for your moving needs!

P. W.I used packing services with Aussie. The sales team was accommodating and friendly. The packing was very smooth and quick. The guy arrived on time: 9.00 am sharp. He was very polite and efficient. The work was done very quickly. Very impressed on how he manged to pack my spin bike into such an interesting masterpiece. I would never be able to ever pack anything like that myself! Within 5 hours, the whole 2 bedroom flat was packed. Boxes were clearly labelled. The reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, was because Aussie charged for the whole day -- not by the hour. So even if he spent just 5 hours to get the job done, we had to pay for the whole day of 8 hours anyway. But this was mutually agreed since the beginning of the process, so it wasn't a surprise here. Just wish there could be more flexibility on this front.

The guys turned up to our flat in Archway on time, and had it cleared super fast! They didn't huff and puff over the heavy items either.. They made sure everything was looked after, including our soft furnishings which they wrapped in plastic (it was chucking it down outside).
Once they were at the new place in Wood Green, everything was put into the rooms we specified - and they were very careful not to make any mess, putting down dust sheets on the new carpet etc.
There was no standing about and chatting, or swearing etc. They got the job done in record time. Will definitely use them again!

Guys who came on the day were friendly, and one in particular very hard working and conscientious. Unfortunately the move took significantly longer estimated, and a large item (which was highlighted during booking) was accidentally damaged during the move.
However, the office dealt with the issues promptly and professionally, to ensure that everything was resolved to mutual satisfaction. This I would definitely commend them on as they certainly helped alleviate my concerns.
Would recommend taking the additional insurance option, relatively small fee which ended up paying for itself many times over.

I don't make it easy for them, this time I was moving a slate bed pool table and cross trainer out of storage along with a range of other boxes and they didn't bat an eyelid. They cleared a 50Sq Ft lockup (although not packed completely full) loaded onto the van, drove to the new house and unloaded as directed in under 2 hours. It is true that neither of them was called Bruce, and they were not equipped with any wallabies, not even one little one - but in every other way they surpassed any hope that one might have of a pair of Aussie Men removing things in an Aussie Van. We had a complicated move, through a high walk-up with tight corners, outdoor spaces, and pigeon droppings to navigate through. We had a team of Vasile, Kris, and Tibor, and they were both incredibly pleasant to work with and absurdly efficient.
Their price was higher than we would normally pay, though well within the range of their competitors, and you certainly got a quality move for your payment. Personally, I think the peace of mind that comes with a remover like this is very well worth it.

They moved the stuff into our new place very efficiently and put together any furniture which was taken apart. Overall it was a good experience. They seemed to take a little longer than I would have liked but worked very hard throughout the day. Because of the late start I dropped a star but would recommend them despite this.

One minor word about the offered insurance policy. Having to list the value of your contents out to validate the policy is not a user friendly thing to be doing. Very time consuming! Having moved house a few times over the years we have never had to do this for a house move including for valuable items! I haven't taken away from the five star rating for this though as it's not a compulsory part of the package and you can shop around, but that was the only aspect that wasn't ideal for our needs. J.One of the removal men complained multiple times about the weight of the boxes and repeatedly criticised the way we had packed them, in a somewhat unprofessional manner. This caused some friction and which resulted in some distress to my other half. Excellent removal service otherwise and would have been 5 stars if not for this.
The other mover didn't seem to have an issue, and Aussie also moved me last year, moving the exact same belongings and the movers that time didn't have a complaint either. Unsure why it was a problem for one out of the four Aussie movers we have used, that needed to be vocalised multiple times.

I couldn't be happier - they arrived, they loaded up (all carried down two flights of stairs); drove two miles then delivered all of the furniture up another flight of stairs. No complaining, no fussing and just a little bit of puffing. This was a late booking from Whetstone N20 to North Finchley N12 but it was worth every penny. I was so impressed that my daughter has booked them for next week.

However, they forgot to bring to my new place a fully packed box, didn't pack any contents of one of the toilets, left behind a full roll of bubble wrap (which I've been enjoying bursting) a full (heavy) rack of wrapping paper and 6 rolls of tape. I have been having to move the leftovers in a few car trips :( just as well I did this a week before having to hand my old flat over. They did compensate me a few pounds for the trouble when I called but the amount was a very small percentage of the overall job as I had been quoted for 4 hours and it took them 9 as both guys were quite new to the business.

E. C.I last used Aussie Man & Van's services on 7th March 2016. It was the second time we were hiring their help. This move was going from Central London to South West London with half a truck load of furniture (bulky sofa, glass table, glass shelves, bed side tables, soft furnishings...).
Firstly the 2-strong team arrived on time, well actually 10 mins early, at the collection address. No small feat in Central London at 11 a.m. with a job scheduled before ours. They worked promptly and well loading the van in under 30 minutes.
Secondly, they were polite, personable and knowledgeable. They have the correct equipment to carry out the removal safely and professionally.
Lastly, the team were tenacious, refusing to be defeated when the bulky sofa did not fit through the narrow door of our loft room at the delivery point. They were undeterred and took down the pesky door in seconds (the removal guys come with a tool box) refitting it shortly afterwards.
There were no breakages, the staff are very punctual & trustworthy. I rate this company highly, we organised the move in less than a week from quote to moving date, their back office staff are also a pleasure to deal with.

M. B.We moved from a three bed house in Richmond to a four bed house in Isleworth on the 14th March 2016. Both houses have narrow staircases and lots of tricky items to come down and go up.
We rented a 1.5 tonne lorry with three guys. What should have been a stressful day turned out to be stress free with, "no dramas" being mentioned often when difficult tasks were requested. All was completed in under five hours. The "can do" attitude is so true and I cannot recommend highly enough this company to totally remove the stress from moving.

The van arrived 45 minutes late, was expecting it at 11am only to recieve a phone call at 11 from a driver informing me that they are stuck in traffic and hopefully will be with me in 20 -25 minutes. They have arrived at 11.45. The main office wasnt really helpfull when i called trying to get the time of their arrival. Also I was waiting for a branded van as have seen them previusly on the streets but some other red van arrived with a diffreent company name on it. It would have been helpfull if someone have told me what van will be arriving as I was reserving the parking spot fot them for 45 min and was looking out for a different van. With all that mentioned the two men were really efficient, polite and carefull with the items.

Pros:
- Very efficient customer service
- Box Delivery Service was prompt and a good selection of boxes + accessories
- Van easily big enough
- 2 men polite + very efficient at loading and unloading
Cons:
- Was due to come at 1pm, I was warned this time may change slightly.
However my driver phoned at 9am by my driver saying he had finished his first job and could he start at mine straight away (this didn't work as I would not collect my keys until 2pm at the new place so I would be paying for the van to sit outside for at least over an hour). When I declined and asked for them to come a bit earlier, maybe 12-12:30 they agreed.
Later I was told they wouldnt get there until 2pm, then at 1pm I was told this would be 3pm, then at 2:30pm I was told this would be 4pm-5pm. Eventually they switched driver/team as it was getting late and they arrived at c. 4:15pm.
This meant they then had to drive across central london at peak rush hour. This journey took over 1 hour and a half, when it would maybe take 30-40minutes if it had been done at 2pm as planned.
Obviously this meant I paid for an extra hour more than I had planned, not a disaster but quite frustrating and disruptful to have the time changed so much on the day of the move when I was managing signing off my old tenancy and signing into the new one.

these guys turned up at my flat while the nine am news was just starting on my radio.this was the time i had booked them from
they had all the tape for boxes and tools for dismantling furniture
it was a completely seemless move
there was a single moan from any the guys any of the move
we were packed in about an hour and ready to go
unfourtuneately they wait a long time at the other end because my swap partner were still loading up from there side
was a six hour move that should have only been 3/4 max
but not aussies fault
the guys had a really nice positve and helpful attitude although they were exhausted by the end
