It can be a bit difficult to get late access to your unit if you don't organise with customer service when they're open (just let me do it online). So that's something to consider ahead of time.

Chris, a manager, was a great help in looking at a flexible fit when we needed to extend our requirements, and has always been very easy to communicate with, along with the rest of the staff. The place was spotless and although I don't use or currently need storage I know that I would not hesitate to use this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing forklift truck services to help get the job done. Professional to the end!

The only slight problem was that I brought a Royal Mail redirection confirmation letter as proof of address but the person signing me up was insisting that I need a bank statement even when I explained that I have pretty much everything only electronically. Eventually after minutes of pleading and a colleague coming over it was accepted and everyone was happy :)

I feel safe and trust my belongings to be secured. However, prices quoted and actual amount paid have a large desparity, therefore felt I was being ripped off, especially as you are there at a time when you don't have time to swop and change.
Advice is to ensure you know how much the total is prior to booking, don't rely on emailed quote that doesn't list the little extras lol

S. K.Big Yellow in Bow were clearly under a lot of pressure on a Saturday a few weeks before the start of the Olympics. While I had registered online in advance, I had to queue when I got there, but my man and van managed to unload the van onto the trolleys in the meanwhile - so I didn't really lose any time.Yes, you can save money by buying a padlock in advance (they sell them for about £15), but Big Yellow are pretty clear about that up front. All in all, for short term storage (under 4 weeks), I think it's a decent service at a reasonable price.
