We could not be happier with the service we received! From the very first email to the final minutes of moving day, the whole team were professional, responsive and beyond helpful. Having never felt like we could justify using a removals firm before because of our ‘expectations’ on how much it would cost we were also amazed at what good value the service was… and it was the best money we ever spent. The whole day of moving was stress-free and neither myself or my partner lifted a single box! We were in the highly stressful situation of moving so Dan and Ed at Davis and Mac had been recommended to me by a good friend. As soon as I spoke with them they literally took all the stress off my shoulders as we made the moving plan. I only got a quote from Davis & Mac as I fully relied on the rave reviews they’ve had online for their services. They cannot be faulted. I was dreading the move as a lot had gone during the purchase and I expected the same and the removals men arrived (Sunil, Khan, Karl & then Pete and Dan the second day) reassuring me that it would be stress-free and they’d do all they could to make sure the whole process was seamless - they weren’t lying! They were a pleasure to have in my home and were funny, professional and efficient. The unpacking even included getting help putting away all my kitchenware and dried food and again was seamless despite torrential rain and all the furniture was kept dry throughout. Could not recommend them more. You’ll regret it if you go with anyone else but these!

I really hate moving. I have also had some terrible moving experiences in the past so was really not looking forward to a 4 bed house move. I found Davis & Mac on Google, gave them a call and spoke to Ed who was extremely friendly and informative. He arranged a day to visit our home that suited our diary. We got 3 quotes in total. The quote Davis & Mac provided was not the cheapest we received but after so many bad experiences we have learnt that you get what you pay for so we went ahead and couldn’t be happier with the decision. They packed the day before the move in what seemed like record time. They left our house usable for the last night, leaving beds in place etc to be taken apart on the morning of the move. Move day was just as smooth. They re assembled all our furniture, placed boxes in the correct room and even managed to unpack some of our kitchen items for us. I have to say i was waiting for something to go horribly wrong but it never happened. Thank you Ed and the rest of the team for taking such good care of me and my family. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the future.

I was recommended to use David & Mac ( i knew them as Dan and Co )about 4 years ago by a friend who assured me they were the best in the Biz!! Since then i have used them again twice and each time they have gone above and beyond in delivering a 1st class service. They are without doubt the BEST removal company around. With some tricky sized spaces and furniture , it was touch and go at times if they would even be able to successfully " get the furniture in" they absolutely did every time. They were professional, hard working and relentless with speed! A truly affordable company who I used again in June this year to move to a new house. Ed and his amazing team moved me out of my house in November 2018, I was delighted by the professional and friendly way they handled the job. Due to my wife being 8 months pregnant and myself having just had a back operation I had the full packing/unpacking service, this allowed me to leave the entire move to the guy's and made the usually stressful job of moving house as easy as it can possibly be. I had to store my belongings with Davis and Mac for an elongated period of time due to the house I was moving to falling through so it was not until Feb 2019 that they delivered my stuff back to my new house. Over two days they meticulously unpacked all my stuff according to my wife's instructions and I was pleased to find that even with the long stay in storage all my belongings where in perfect order with absolutely no sign's of damage. The guy's were great to be around and went above and beyond to reassure us and make the whole process as stress free as possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic removals firm. So friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Really flexible. Arrived early on the day and worked really efficiently. She made us an appointment for the mover to come and give us a free estimate of how much time it will take to give a more accurate quote. We just worked with Dan of Davis and Mac to take apart, move, and reassemble several large and valuable items of Lombok furniture as part of a large and hectic house move. They provided an excellent service. Dan called me promptly after I had left a message with Lombok. He came round and did a thorough check of the items, called Lombok to check some technical details, and then arrived on the day with a competent and polite team who did the job in a reasonable amount of time and with the greatest care. All joking aside, these guys were by far and away the most professional, efficient yet still had the time and customer service nuance to be charming, funny as well as dare I say it handsome. the only way these guys could've been any better is if they'd had gotten the kettles on and paid the first month's mortgage repayment for me. Davis and Mac took the time and care to individually wrap and secure each piece, something up until this point I had always gotten a professional art courier to take care of, so their service paid for itself!
