I would 100% recommend Amber Moves as a go-to removals company. We’d been flooded out of our property & had been decanted into a hotel whilst we looked for somewhere else. Andrew is such a lovely guy who completely understood the delay in us getting the keys & worked around our schedule to make sure everything was right for us. Amber Moves came in ahead of schedule & conducted the packing of the entire contents of our place & then did the move to our new place seamlessly taking the stress of a move right down to minimum. I’ll be using them again when we move back!

We were recommended to Amber Moves by our daughter who had used them twice in the past and was extremely satisfied. Super job done by all of these guys, it was not an easy move, involving lots of awkward things including a fish tank with live fish ! And lots of stairs, they where patient and helpful and very skilled , I had them all sweating and they did not complain once. My belongings where kept safe nothinf damaged and nothing lost. Having used Amber Moves in the past, there was no question that I would use them again for this move. Andrew and his team of Adam, Alex, Chris and Gary worked very well together, knew exactly what they were doing, made helpful suggestions when asked and were polite and supportive throughout a long day. This was our fifth move with Amber and every time they have provided us with fantastic service. Over the last 10 years we have also recommend them to all our friends and family, who in turn have also always been thoroughly happy with their professionalism and friendliness. We are a couple who have been renting for years and have had to move for various reasons and we accumulate more furniture each time. Andrew always comes and does a survey, provides us with the right amount of materials and talks us through the details of packing. The team, led by the amazing Vlasta, then arrive on the day (always early) and they are ready to go. They communicate clearly, are incredibly reassuring and at the other end always assembly our furniture in a way that makes it better than when we bought it. This company is incredibly well run, from the administration team who are always on the phone to help, the removal guys who know what they're doing and don't make a single scratch on the walls and all led by Andrew, who cares about what he does, his staff and his clients. Before i jump in detail i would like to says thanks to Andrew for such an efficient , smooth, stress free service. Highly recommended!!! Andrew visited our place to do a survey and that made us feel more comfortable to go ahead with them. They will treat you as their only and most important client ( regardless of the size/ cost for the job) and that really makes a difference! Andrew and Gary - arrived ahead of time and without wasting any minute started the move. We had some a few big heavy items to bring from 2 flight of stairs which they did very smoothly. Andrew and his team didn't even waste a minute and moved everything so swiftly that we were actually surprised! They charge for their service by the hour and i haven't seen anyone so honest and efficient that they didn't stop for a minute . They put all the items in our new place in the desired rooms and with care. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. You may find other companies with less hourly rates but i would go for Amber moves any day as they are very competitive in terms of pricing and they completed the move in less then expected/ quoted time and only charged us for it. Moving homes can be super stressful and emotional but Amber Moves helped us move into our first home with total ease. They were careful and considerate with all our belongings and super speedy even though they had to get things up 2 flights of stairs (including a king size bed, sofa, boxes of fragile items and some cabinets). They were a pleasure to deal with and very reasonably priced. We had to postpone our move due to COVID-19 and they were very understanding and helpful with the whole process. Amber Moves were recommended to me by a friend (Anna, see below!) who has moved 5 times with them, and I can totally see why. The lovely Andrew and his lovely right hand man Vlasta ("like pasta, but with a Vla") moved me out of my old home, stored my possessions and then moved it all down to deepest Kent, all without a single hitch or moment of anxiety. They actually made what should have been incredibly stressful quite fun! Also Andrew is meticulous about only charging for the time taken for a move - as they finished the move a bit earlier than expected he adjusted the bill accordingly. But they won't leave until everything is done either. Amber is very obviously the kind of company that is run by a good person and only hires good people. They are a total wonder. Look no further!

Great moving service. Found them by personal recommendation, pricing was competitive and the initial visit from Andrew gave us a good feeling - very nice and very professional. One stop shop - from delivery of the boxes to the pick up service. Very efficient and flexible. We had a few complications on the day, they worked around anything. Some furniture needed taking apart, a super nice team member Connor expertly dealt with the wardrobe and put it together on the other end in a flash. All without it being a part of the original estimate, no extra charges. They recommended a superb cleaning service as well (Sam from Golden Clean). Highly recommended.

I found Amber Moves absolutely fantastic when I moved home from London to Plymouth 6 weeks ago. They were the epitome of courteousness and professionalism. They even arranged for all my pots of plants to be stored outdoors so they kept in good condition until moving day. Amber moves promised an easy, stress free move… Under my breath I laughed as moving was my worst nightmare and all mine had been awful. But Amber Moves stood by every word they said. They arrived 7am on the dot and while they packed my kitchen and lounge I had my breakfast in the local café. Amber moves packers were, to say the least, amazing. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were able to (at no notice) stay and help unpack. In fact, it wasn't just that they unpacked, but that they were incredibly thoughtful in doing so. They put out our photos for us. They arranged my vases. They put things away in the kitchen in a way that was sensible and accessible. They even managed to get the clothes in the right places, and all, basically, with very minimal guidance from us. My partner bought a mirror from Ebay and wss very excited about her bargain purchase. What she hasn't considered was that a mirror 2m x 2m wasn't going to fit into a honda jazz.
