Martins removals were excellent from the start, polite and friendly. Successfully removing us down a difficult staircase in a town house with upstairs accommodation, they were careful with those larger pieces of furniture, and I would 100% recommend. They kept in contact throughout, after a few failed exchanges trying to accommodate our dates and needs. Martin, Dave and the other lads were hard working to the end a really great job on a very hot day in August 22, makes me wonder why I've struggled in the past years renting vans out and attempting ourselves. Thank you again

If you are moving house give Martin Hodson Removals a call. I cannot Thank him and Dave enough. We moved on the hottest day of the year and they moved EVERTHING for us. They wrapped our furniture, put the mattresses in a protective cases, dismantled all the beds and help put them up again which no other removal firm offered to do. The moving van was very clean, so I knew my stuff was safe and well looked after. My buyer messed the chain around and we had 4 failed moved dates. Martin kept in contact and allowed me to pencil in a few dates. He totally understood our situation. Both Martin and Dave were professional, nice to chat to and had exceptional customer service. I’ve already recommended them to family and friends because they were so good and provided an honest quote! Excellent Service.

Extremely efficient, careful and polite movers! Made sure everything was completely secured and helped disassemble/assemble our beds. All boxes were placed in the correct rooms in the new house which made unpacking 10x easier. Could not recommend these guys more! I was preparing to move home in November. Christopher Baird, Basc Transport Manager, came to my house. I signed the contract and paid in full thereafter. It is agreed that the van will be up load at my home 7:30 am on December 3rd and delivered to Bournemouth on December 4th. No one showed up all day on December 3, and no one even answered the phone. He did not reply to me until 5 PM, saying that he would come to up load the van at 7:30am the next day. The crew didn't come up until 8:30 the next morning. But they had no idea where they needed to move, or how many box they needed to move. They chose to leave and promised to come at 9 pm. Because it was Sunday, I had no choice but to wait. No one came and no one answered the phone that evening. On the morning of December 5th, I called HODSONS HOUSE REMOVALS, and Martin took the call. When he heard my story, he came to my house and saw a house full of boxes, and he knew exactly how I felt. Tell me to wait for him to go back and arrange it, help me as soon as possible. I waited in suspense for an hour. Martin called and told me that he will up load the van this afternoon and deliver it to Bournemouth in the next morning. At 1pm Martin came to my home with his team, and everything went smoothly. Everything packed by 4:00pm. By 5am the next morning, Martin and his team were driving to bournemouth. And arrived Bournemouth by 9.30am. Three hours, Assemble all the furniture and put it in the right place. I don't know what to say to express my thanks. I don't know where I would have been without Martin and his company. HODSONS HOUSE REMOVALS are highly recommended.

Martin and his team were recommend to us which was fully warranted. They were all very friendly and helpful, dismantled and reasembled large furniture for us and sorted the plumbing of white goods at both addresses. Care was taken with all items with wrapping/covers and mats to protect flooring. Very reasonable price and a great service, definitely recommend.

I chose the help of Hodsons House Removals for collection of some large items from a local Wickes shop that I needed urgently, rather than expecting a few extra days for shop delivery. And it worked like a treat: Martin was very prompt, flexible around the time I needed to meet him for store collection and helped me move the items where I wanted them. All for a charge fee roughly the same as store delivery except he did it on the same day! Thank you very much for your help!

So glad I chose this company to move with! They were responsive, punctual and friendly, and I felt that all of my belongings were treated with respect. I keep a large cactus and exotic plant collection - a small nursery really - which are some of the most difficult things to move, but everything was handled with great care, and every one of approximately 2,000 plant specimens reached their destination in one piece. Glassware and other fragile items were also moved expertly. Highly recommended!
