J. S.Amazing!!! Having never needed a "piano remover" before in my life, I was a little unsure where to start. So, I googled! Came across Piano Removal Services. From the very first contact, I cannot fault these guys. Fast, efficient response to emails. Sometimes I would think about something that I needed to ask them and it was although they pre-empted it, as an email would arrive with me first. They kept me up to date of timings etc from booking the removal to the precise time they would be arriving on the day. I only found out when the guys were with me on delivery day that the company wasn't local to me and travelled an awful long way to do this move for me. You can tell, when watching them moving the piano, that they are professionals in what they do. The piano coming to me has been in our family a long, long time and it is very precious, as are all musical instruments. Its a shame I will probably never have to call on their services again but what I can do is recommend them very highly to you. They will not let you down!

They handled a huge electric organ with such ease and expertise and feel that you are in safe hands with him. He would have been also happy to help with screwing off the door to fit the piano ( luckily we did not have to do that.!) - but he was prepared to, which gave me an extra sense of security, as I would have not managed that myself. He kept the piano in his storage for a week safely without extra charge, as I needed to move from one house to another, with few days interval inbetween. The fee he charges are very fair initially, but when I asked for an additional work, he even once recalculated to make amendments to make it more reasonable for the customer, according to his price list, which I thought was very honest and helpful... My piano stayed perfectly in tune after a week of storage in his charge, and the moves. Quite surprising. You won't get any better than this in piano removal service. A. S.I contacted Blaine at short notice viz a deadline for moving a pianola; following a slightly impromptu purchase on EBay. His communication was rapid after completing the enquiry form, and he quickly defined the needs for the move. He explained a process largely unfamiliar to myself, and that was very reassuring. I was informed when collection was arranged, directly with the seller on my behalf; again after collection, with updates on eta for delivery. The team of three of very effective lifters and movers worked well as a professional team, manipulating the pianola into a fair tight storage space, with clear communication and experienced planning. There was no sense of being in a rush, even though I assume I was one of numerous jobs for the day. They even offered to help me replace other items in the storage unit (though, I didn’t take them up on that). A bonus is that Blaine recommended someone to help me with repairs to the pianola and tuning etc. Overall, I found the service highly professional and very friendly. I. T.Nearly 12 years ago we bought a Yamaha G3 from Roberts Pianos in Oxford. It was brought to our house by Blaine Downie and a colleague of his. With careful planning, efficiency, patience and simple but cleverly-designed equipment two strong men moved a large grand piano weighing close to a third of a ton up a 1-in-15 sloping path, around some tight corners, up over an inconveniently high threshold into the house, reattached the legs and set it up. The piano was still smack in tune. Recently we decided to move the piano to a well-insulated garden room. Marcus Roberts reassured us that Blaine was still doing removals. Expecting to be put on a waiting list for this specialised service, we were delighted to be fitted in right away. This time the move entailed a 6" lift onto a platform and a further 6" lift within a 103-degree turn in a rather constricted passageway. Again the whole manoeuvre was executed with ingenuity and smoothness and a technique born of long experience. The bill amounted to less than we expected and the result is a piano happy in its new home.
We wholeheartedly recommend and thank Blaine and his team for their highly professional work.
