Reviews of RBSA Gallery

Great small gallery over three floors in a nice old part of Birmingham. I saw the Prize Exhibition 2022 and spent ages being fascinated by the remarkable array of different styles and media. The quality of the work was extremely impressive. Well worth a visit. Admission is free but the experience certainly deserves a donation.

A small gallery in the Jewellery Quarter, it is near St Paul's Square. They have exhibitions on. Vote if you want for your favourite artwork, voluntary donation. The gallery has a history going back a few centuries, and was formerly on New Street until the end of the 20th century .

Lovely light airy gallery with friendly staff and a good gift shop. We saw the Birmingham Society of Artists exhibition which had a wonderful variety of fabulous pieces. Not sure what their usual style of exhibitions are but worth a visit I think

Such a lovely Gallery to visit, the standard of work is exceptional and I loved the variety of artistic mediums too. The prices for the art are really good and reasonable as well the prices of the arts and craft in the Craft Shop. The shop has some lovely handmade items too from local crafts people. It is free entry so is a must visit gallery in Birmingham!

Lovely small art gallery and shop selling works of art from local artists. Great workshops, friendly staff.

Only one floor of exhibits. A bit disappointing although I enjoyed the works a lot.

Very good, some great pieces in the exhibition especially this one that looks like a photo until you get up close

Our visit coincided with the Print Prize exhibition which was fantastic to wander around. We'll be looking out for many of the print makers in future. Thank you very much.

Really enjoyed the RBSA Friends exhibition. Contemporary work now has a good presence and this beautiful gallery is a very welcoming place to be.

Very nice selection of Art in a number of mediums and style. Some lovely pieces of jewellery at very good prices.

Down to earth beautiful art and shop, but a proper gallery of current art. Loved it and bought some lovely original presents on the shop

Vibrant, considered in an excellent visually lit gallery,by natural and possibly daylight lighting system. Current exhibition is of portraits of working people in unusual but everyday scenes. Well worth a visit, street parking for two hours only £1.90 cheap in this diverse part of the Jewellery Quarter. Subscription available by post, includes workshop type and availability.

Great to see the art work of living artists. Unlike much larger art galleries, the RBSA, whilst stimulating is not overpowering. Shop is worth a visit too.

I pop in here from time to time and popped in last Monday. It can be a bit hot n miss art style wise, (in my opinion which is what art is all about), but this visit was great. Exhibits were varied, engaging n high technical standard. It's free so pop in sometime your in n around St Pauls Square - have your own opinion on what you see. There are always pieces for sale aswell.

The RBSA is situated on the edge of the Jewelry quarter and the city just across from the cathedral in st Paul's square. Take home an original work of art or browse the craft displays for gifts and cards. Currently showing works from artists around the country.

A really surprising place on the edge of Birmingham. Frequently changing exhibitions and a number of items for sale at really good places. Can't say the exhibitions were to my taste at all, but the items for sale were exceptional.

We had less than an hour there. But what a great time to be there, right at the end of an exhibition. Met an old friend and looked at some amazing art.
