Lovely place, shame the Tythe Barn is not open to visitors

I small place to visit but nonetheless interesting. I suggest you combine it with a visit to the priest house at Mucheney and the Treasurer's house in Martock, all of which are interesting in there own rights but are quick to get around. They're all close so doable.

Small but charming and the owner kindly allowed us entry dispite being closed.

National Trust property. Also used as private residence - owing to which the opening times are seasonal. I
Situated at top end of North Street, Stoke sub Hamdon. Parking in the surrounding area can be a little tricky! Interesting remains of various buildings, some of which are visible without entering the property.

Was unsure if the site was open. Very interesting but had a quick look round as we felt a little uncomfortable doing so.

Really good for bikes . Skate park average but it's always quite so good to practice
P. S.
The Priory at Stoke Sub Hamdon is part of the National Trust, one is advised to check opening times prior to arrival.
