A beautiful statue of one of the most profoundly special people who ever lived. The statue is placed in a good location by the water. The statue is not a tourist attraction. It is holding a flaming torch, like you'd see at the Olympics, and you can hold the lower part of the torch handle and join the statue in making a silent prayer. I've seen other people also do this, and it is always moving to see people pray here.

The statue is located on Cardiff Bay and gives people a chance to share in the aims of the World Harmony Run to promote peace and understanding. Beautiful statue overlooking the Bay. An interactive statue where you can hold the torch and make a wish for peace. A truly unique idea and a pause for thought in a busy world is refreshing.
