Amazing! Was blown away here.
Saw a tiny shop and wondered how it could possibly be a museum.
The displays are meticulous and artistic it truly was a joy to see so many creatures. The collection is definitely a worthwhile visit for anyone especially kids. You won’t regret it!
It is free but consider decent donations displays like this don’t come cheap.

Not sure how I can put in to words how incredible this place is, definitely needs to be seen in person. Free entry at the back of a tattoo shop, only a small back room but don't let that put you off. Amazing, full animal skeletons put together by a couple of guys as a hobby more than anything. The people who run it are genuinely some of the friendliest people I've ever met. More than happy to discuss what they do, what it's all about and answer any questions you might have. One of the greatest aspects of it is the articulation of the skeletons. They aren't just left in your usual, standard museum poses but they have tried to make them look how they'd be in the wild. You have skeletons fighting each other, carrying prey, jumping and pouncing. Animals ranging from lions, dogs, cats, birds, small rodents, more than I can remember. They also have a few bits and pieces for sale and the prices beat anywhere I've seen online or in person. I will be going back at some point, that's how good it is.

One of the most interesting museum you will have to go and visit
The owner is very welcoming and is willing to answer any questions thrown at him about the skeleton museum.
I did like the wide range of interesting skeletons on show
As you can see I have taken some photos but there are so much more to go and see
will be visiting again keep up the good work.

This museum knocks the lawnmower museum off its top spot for eccentricity. It is simply mind-blowing and free to boot! I have driven past a few times and thought must nip in there for a quick visit. When I finally did my 2 hour visit wasn't nearly enough and could have stayed all day, with so much to look at. I took my 10 year old son originally as something to do during the holidays but it turned out to be a stimulating and educational experience for us both as the discussions on evolution and reasons for differing bone structures etc were aided by the thoughtful displays and captured his imagination more than any classroom session could have. If you haven't visited yet your missing out! The country could do with more Allan's!

Visited here more than once and enjoy the experience. There's always something new to see and he has some rare animals that are very cool to get up close too. Dog friendly as well and there is even a gift shop! Al is welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. He's on Instagram too, go check him out!
Always a pleasure and I'm sure we'll be back soon!

What a fantastic little place I haven't been to a museum which was as interesting before, I would highly recommend that you visit this place which is at the back of a tattoo shop you will not be disappointed. A truly eccentric British collection the like of which you won't find anywhere else.

Me and my partner visited the Yorkshire skeleton museum after hearing about it from a friend. When we turned up we were warmly welcomed by the museum curator, Al, who was an absolute pleasure from the very start! The museum overall is an incredible place- i would reccomend for anybody who is looking for inspiration for art, who are naturally curious and for anybody who is looking to have a wonderful, jaw dropping exerience!
Any questions we had about any of the skeletons Al kindly answered for us, I cannot stress enough how wonderful he is. He builds each piece himself from scratch, and you can see the amazing skill and passion he has for his work.
One other fabulous novelty from the museum is the gift shop, I came away with a little stoat skeleton and a cup as momentos for my visit- not your usual gift shop tat!
Overall I would give this place 100 stars if I could as it was a unique and incredible experience from start to finish, enjoying every moment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a wonderful place! Filled with beautiful art, amazing curios and of course some of the most stunning skeletal specimens you’ll see in such an easily accessible private collection. And of course helpful and welcoming. A visit is a must!

(Translated) It's hard to find because the museum is part of the tattoo parlor. The exhibition is great, the enormity of skeletons of various species and friendly service willing to tell curiosities about skeletons.

Trudno znaleźć, bo muzeum jest częścią salonu tatuażu. Ekspozycja super, ogrom szkieletów różnych gatunków i sympatyczna obsługa chętna do opowiadania ciekawostek dotyczących szkieletów.
