What a beautiful place! Pods are amazing! Have everything you need and more! They have literally thought of every little detail. Hot tub and fire pit was beautiful. Lovely relaxing and private place with family. Would definitely recommend! Owners are so lovely and helpful. Teddy (owners dog) is so friendly and playful :)

Wonderful place! Wonderful hosts! It felt like we were in the depths of nature. Stunning scenery and wildlife by day... and at night, the stars were incredible. Yet... minutes away from the city! The Glamping Lodges were bigger than expected and we had four in ours. Very clean and well stocked with goodies! The hot tub and fire pit were checked every day and fresh wood left. If we had questions the hosts Ray and Gill were available and really friendly. Possibly the most accommodating site we had been to. Thank you we will be back!

Wow wow wow! Blown away! West Hall Glamping is a real hidden gem in beautiful Durham countryside. The stunning pods are equipped with EVERYTHING you need for stay away with so many luxuries provided by Ray and Gill. They are immaculately clean, so it the fabulous hot tub. Loved the fire pit! It is a lovely, friendly site and close to so many day out attractions. We have loved our family stay and feel very relaxed. Would highly recommend West Hall Glamping. Amazing. Had the most amazing relaxing break we originally booked this for our anniversary,but 9 days prior to our booked date I sadly lost my Mam so wasn’t sure whether to go, so pleased we did as it was just what I needed. Very private with everything you need the owners are lovely people and there’s a lovely little coffee shop and farm shop just 10 mins walk away. Couldn’t have asked for a better little break and will definitely be returning as soon as we can. First class.

Little slice of paradise in Durham! Perfect for just switching off and relaxing. A weekend for just bbq and hot tub-what more would you want. The cabins are immaculate, with the most comfortable beds ever. Dog friendly! There’s is an honesty box to buy more fire wood and goodies. It’s in a good location where you can walk to the pub, farm shop ect. There’s a little Tesco which is a 5 min drive. Overall high recommend coming here and I would definitely be coming back.

Our family booked the whole site as a surprise 70th birthday celebration. Everything was perfect, Pods and hot tubs were spotlessly clean and well equipped and the site is really lovely. We couldn't have had a better time. Thankyou West Hall Glamping

An amazing little stay that is out the way and perfect for a getaway. Had our 4 month old son with us for our wedding anniversary and the hut was perfect. Underfloor heating, clean, comfy bed, working TV with Netflix/Prime etc and most importantly a dedicated jacuzzi and a fire pit with free kindling. Would highly recommend for those wanting to get away from it all.

Excellent welcome basket. Towels provided. Really warm with underfloor heating. Each pod has it's own hot tub, fire pit, decked area and benches. Very well equipped with a lo Ely welcome basket. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Totally peaceful with fantastic views . 30 minutes walk to nearest pub. 15 minutes to a fabulous farm shop and cafe. Will definitely stay again.

Came here for a hen weekend. Absolutely amazing. Pods lovely and well presented. Hot tub was great. We also hired the tepee for the weekend which was fab for us all to get together. Owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend and will be returning as a family.

Went for 2 nights for anniversary on 27th july .First time glamping and it was amazing .the hosts are very helpful and have an amazing place.The pods are fantastic very clean and very comfy and spacious the shower is great addition .the area is very quiet .there's a 10 minute walk up to a farm shop what is perfect for breakfast and coffee and essentials..will be returning in September as me and my wife had a great time

The owners of this site have been absolutely amazing finding us somewhere to stay as we still have no electricity. The glamping pods are beautiful- home from home with special touches of Christmas decorations, complimentary welcome pack and fresh towels, cleaning products etc. The views are beautiful and hot tub is amazing. It has certainly cheered our family up and the owners are so helpful, caring and kind. Nothing is a problem. A special place where people should visit.

Beautiful, peaceful location with everything needed in the pod for a few nights stay. Luxurious facilities and a very high standard with an amazing shower. Loved the fire pit and playing with Teddy (the owners dog). Lots of walks in the area from your doorstep. Would love to return. Lovely eateries also nearby.

What an absolute beautiful place Only 10 minutes away from where I live but you feel miles away from everything and everyone, feels like paradise Got to say this is one of the best if not the best resorts I have been to especially with the kids They loved it, just played out the whole time in the play area then spent a lot of time in the private hot tub I got these few days away threw solan charity which is for cancer patients as the owners of West Hall glamping give a 2 night stay away for free once a month to one of the families that work with the cancer charity I will definitely be back, happy to pay full price Was so so peaceful and relaxing The owners couldn't do enough for you and were so nice 110% recommend this place 😊

Had the most amazing stay at West Hall, the lodge was spacious, cosy, warm and spotless. Everything you needed was provided and more. Spent a great evening in the hotub and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. It was so quiet and the view breathtaking. Can't wait ro stay again. Excellent little cabins. Close to Sacriston for the vital supplies! Also very close to Broom House farm which also has a farm shop, cafe and a good day out. Hosts are great, quiet place and the cabins have what you need. Lovely dog called Teddy that sometimes graces you with stick throwing requests.

I'm so excited to see these gorgeous Glamping Pods open for booking. I am an avid hiker and have had the honour and priviledge throughout lockdown of hiking through the West Hall Cottage and learning just how lovely the owners are. The spot is Heavenly! It feels like you are miles from civilisation when in fact you aren't. The owners are lovely people who have in every breath injected love into these Pods. Here's to Happy Glamping and memory making for all who book. You won't be disappointed. x
