Lovely park, brilliant for the kids a walk or any exercise. Some beautiful wildlife to be seen here and the Walled Gardens at the House are really nice. A path will also take you on a short walk to Banton Loch which has some very nice views and birds to see. The children’s park is exceptionally good for the little ones, plenty of easy parking within the grounds, highly recommended this place.

We really like Colzium Park. Really lovely walkways in it and a beautiful Walled Garden. My wee one loved it for a game of hide and seek! There's a cafe there too, I'd imagine it would be fab in the summer months too. The play park was good too, plenty to play on for kids. Would be a good day out for the family.

Lovely estate with loads of daffodils.Lots of different walks and leads to Tak Ma Doon Rd which goes up to the Kilsyth Hills. Cafe and walled garden shut really early 3pm so we were too late for those. There are a few car parks.

A beautiful place to walk and relax. It can be busy but regardless the weather it is definitely a favourite place to visit. There has been events held in the park. There are plenty of walks in and around the park. Loads of families use the play park, loads of dog owners take their dog a long walk around the Colzium. Plants etc are all well cared for. Love visiting the walled garden and the Dam. Plenty of wildlife to be seen. Update - I visited the walled garden the other day. .It is a beautiful place to visit. For the gardeners out there will love the huge variety of plants but it is a peaceful, tranquil place to just relax. The cafe isn't open yet but when it does, where better to enjoy a cuppa x

Great place to go for a peaceful walk in nature, . Lots of paths to follow and great views. There's also a play park for smaller kids and although we were there just after lockdown lifted, the house and the visitor centre and walked garden were still closed.. if in the area and have s few hours in the sun, enjoy this little gem

Lovely park for walking, running, cycling etc. It has a walled garden, cafe, estate house, curling pond, pet cemetery and play park for kids. Hopefully all the services that have been closed during lockdown will be opening back up soon

Enjoyed a lovely walk in the park yesterday. A beautiful display of Snowdrops and a well maintained walled garden. Walks up the glen and to Banton Loch. Even a cafe ( although we weren't sure if it was open!!)

Potentially could be an amazing park if the council looked after it. Bins have all disappeared around the park only bout two large bins widely spaced away from one another. A bridge nxt to the park has been shut off for months for a two minute job of fixing the decking. Maybe if the council saved money on their big hotels an function rooms with free buffets for meetings they might b able to afford to put the money to beautiful places like the colzium

Beautiful place. Often walk our dog here and plenty or variations of routes to take him. Haven't been into the walled garden yet as always pass it with our dog who isn't allowed in but am sure that's for a valid, protective reason. Possible business opportunity at building beside curling pond. Curling pond itself could do with tlc but there's still ducks & swans there, so hopefully this means that it isn't dangerous.

Fantastic for a family day out. Have a picnic by the curling pond or let your children play in the impressive park. Walled garden to be seen, stunning walks past waterfalls and the historic Colzium house which hosts functions. Battle of Kilsyth monument and pet grave yard. Steeped in history and beauty your sure to have a great day.

This is a haven with lovely walks along well laid paths with pleasant views of the hills and surrounding countryside. Many people visit the park for picnics and some seem to need to drink a lot of beer. It is a shame that the people leave so much of their litter, especially the beer drinkers. Take a bin bag please and take it home with you.

Absolutely love it, got lovely walks, nice we cafe, walled gardens, waterfall, swing park but it could do with an upgrade, pond, forest walks, large grassed area for kids / dogs to run, river walks. Beautiful would definitely recommend.

Nice compact country park with play area, woodland walks and a couple of places to eat. Lots of picnic places and open access all the time. Walled garden open 10 to 4pm.

Kilsyth is fortunate to have the Colzium Park. Offering a variety of walks through wooded areas, over open grassland or around the adjoining Banton Loch, its a valuable utility area for the town. Colzium House itself is an impressive building which is immediately surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and lawns including a walled garden, a peaceful and informative space. A recent addition has been the introduction of a cafe at Colzium House which has internal and external - patio - seating. The park also contains a fenced play area for children which includes swings, a climbing frame and even a zipwire. The park is well worth a visit. You'll be glad you went.

A wonderful lunch today served by two cheery young ladies who coped admirably with a sudden influx of clients . We feasted a on tasty cheese and onion toasty made with cheddar with a bite and lentil soup as good as your mother would make. A stroll around the immaculately kept walled garden ( not a weed in site) helped the digestive system settle until we sadly had to leave. The Estate is a credit to all involved in its upkeep Well done Al and Lynnie Hendley

Major 'green space' in Kilsyth. Connects Tak ma Doon Road with Banton Loch and the village of the same name. Has a small theatre and cafe in the grounds, as well as a decent play area for kiddies.
